maybe with the new mac os x 10.8.3 update as these are to have improved video drivers?
I have not experienced this. I have heard the new mac os x 10.8.3 coming out has video driver improvements which should help our frame rates across the board. Too bad they are on beta #11 but I believe this to be coming out yet this month or few weeks at least from what I have read on various online sources.
I know you can change the frequency that the music plays within the options but I dont think you can have a custom sound track that you speak of.
Will we be seeing a vertical camera adjustment slider similar to the existing horizontal one? I would actually love to be able to see the beautiful artwork and architecture used in this game instead of constantly staring at the grass and dirt directly behind my character. At least make it a slider so Spvp & WvW users can keep whichever angle they prefer. Is this a possibility? Would any other players like to see this or am I the only one that thinks the character camera height needs some adjustment? I find myself always playing zoomed all the way out for sake of being able to see up ahead of me farther.
Not the refresh rate, the fps limiter. These are two separate options in the game.
I have noticed this but mine works fine in game. I actually lock up periodically when logging off to the character select screen and then quitting the game. It will just freeze the entire system. Sometimes music loops sometimes the music immediately stops. I have to just hard power down by holding the power button in. I have better luck when i decide I am done for the night to just hit Esc in game and exit the game completely from there.
I have since changed my frame limiter setting to 60 fps and this has seemed to take care of the map lag issue for quite some time now. Obviously I dont want to do this permanently but it seems to be the current band-aid fix that works thus far. Just thought I would pass this on for others to try which might lead to hopefully a resolution from Anet.
Same thing here. Very random slowness using map. I can play for hours and its ok then all of a sudden when I hit “M” it will come up quick but I cannot click or drag or zoom and everything is super delayed. Not sure how to fix it but I wish Anet would look at this issue. Other than that no problems with this game what-so-ever!
