I’ve suggested selling them in both forms, an outfit, and armor skins to be mixed and matched. People want more skins, and these models are already in the game. It would be simple enough, but I doubt they would ever do it, though I don’t know why. I don’t see a lot of people running around at 80 in outfits outside of the new ones in the market.
It wouldn’t be “simple enough”. It would be a nightmare. The current armor sets in the game are designed to be mix-and-matched with pieces from different armor sets without having too much clipping or seam issues. This is why armor sets for a certain class (medium, heavy, light) tend to be similar. All medium legs are designed to be mix and matched with trenchcoats, but if you wear something like a heavy or light armor skirt/kilt with a trenchcoat the skirt will go right through the trenchcoat and it will look horrible. This is also why the “wear any armor weight on any class” suggestions are very unlikely to happen.
If they made outfits pieces you guys would be complaining that you got yet another trenchcoat for medium, yet another ballerina tu-tu nonsense for light, and some chain mail “skirt” for heavy, because there’s only certain armor designs that are meant to go with each armor weight, unless they start doing it like old MMOs where the armor is just a texture on top of your body, and I’m sure you’ll agree that it wouldn’t be cool.
Making outfits not mixed-and-matchable allows the devs to break these restrictions about what goes with that and give you looks unlike anything you’ve seen for your armor weight. So I hope they never cut outfits in pieces. The real problem with outfits is that they’re sold exclusively in the store, and for a MMO that is supposed to reward with cosmetic, this is the last place I want to get my outfits.
actually, people will not try strange mixture, and people can already make strange mixture with parts they have.(try some parts at wardrobe then you can find some are strange.) some armors are not adaptable themselves. I believe that’s not the part devs should worry about. unless people like to troll(like weirdly dyed armor), they will try as possible as the armor looked as normal, not strange.
but if devs really needs that restriction, I can say there’s a good thing already. It’s “Dry Bone Hood.” that part is noted as “This head gear will hide all other shoulder art.” and it does so, It’s because that one is really so big to shoulder. then we can use this function properly. that means we can use outfits as general appearance. I made example below.
Ancestral Outfit(chest piece): this armor is combined with boots, shoulder and leg parts, resulting to hide all other boots, shoulder and leg art.(you can combine this with gloves and head)
Braham’s wolfblood outfit(chest piece): this armor is combined with leg part, resulting to hide all other leg art.(you can combine this with gloves, boots, shoulder, head.)
If you’re willing to use Ancestral outfit at chest piece, It’ll overwrite your leg, boots, shoulder arts. but you can still use head and gloves. this way will work.

Seriously, I don’t want to buy any of outfits. It’s because They’re fully set to one piece. It takes me from my creativity to select piece by piece. Players like to have their creativity on their characters. but outfits are extremely limited to it.
There’s high possibility that players can show their creativity with exclusive outfit parts. For example, Only fancy winter outfit has beret in the game.
You don’t need to make an outfit to all six pieces seperated. at least, I want to take a chance to have hat, gloves, boots of an outfit as my general appearance. Like Marjory Armor’s boots with medium armor. People will be happy if they can have more parts to make up from outfits. but having 6 pieces of a outfit will be nice.
If you make so, I’m willing to buy outfits.

Here’s My idea about population caps. My english is not that good to explain, but I believe you can understand this enough.
Base cap : 50 (wvw population is limited to this)
Cap increase: 10
Cap meet: 15
This base cap is increased by 10 when all servers meet “base cap – 15(cap meet)”
examples below
BG: 50
JQ: 45
TC: 30
= There’ll be still 50 of base cap becuase TC’s cap is below 35 of the population.
BG: 50
JQ: 50
TC: 35
= Now their base cap will be increased by 10 cause all server meet 35 of the population.
BG: 60
JQ: 52
TC: 45
= Again, their base cap will be increased by 10.
BG: 70
JQ: 53
TC: 49
= because of JQ and TC’s population, No more base cap will increase.
BG: 34
JQ: 57
TC: 29
= Oh, It’s asian time. JQ is capped over 50. JQ guys can leave, but can’t join until BG and TC meet 35.
Though this is just an idea. I’m not sure this can be helpful for this situation…

You guys should surely be sad that you can’t take outfit headpiece with regular armors such as a fancy winter outfit hat with CoF armor…
So I thought a thing and made screenshots to make you guys easily understand what I’ll gonna say.

What I thought is separating outfit armor and outfit hat. So You can choose outfit hat regardless your outfit armor status.

Custom channel! I like this. sometimes It’s difficult to converse other without guild or something. It’d be helpful totally.
Why does this need discussing? Half of these points aren’t even an accurate. What’s done is done, the people who were involved in Tier 1 are over it, are you just trying to get people to slander WM?
Those the leader said are written as Korean, and translated by me into English. How could you say half of these aren’t accurate?
Well, I’m not sure those reasons(especially, first reason.) are totally right, so I’d like to hear sort of that from users of SoS and JQ. Why aren’t those needed discussing?
Well, somebody in top wvw servers might think why the score of Stormbluff Isle is low at a long period. That’s because Korean Guilds moved to Kaineng.
the leader of War Machine, one of Korean guilds, said their reason of the server migration is because…
1. Sea of Sorrow and Jade Quarry sent their spies to SBI, especially to their guild(WM), to expose their plan of moving in WvW.
2. SOS did trolling and insult as whisper to ST Commander(sry. I don’t know who ST commander is..)
3. He said he got break the charm because of manipulating the media of other.
As these reasons, He had said he moved to low-ranked wvw server Kaineng, to make it higher with their fitst.
I’d like to hear how you guys think of this…

XI: Evasive Arcana(Arcana 3 Tier Trait) has a bug. when attuned to earth, It says It’ll create a spell ‘Churning Earth,’ but It’s not. If Churning Earth looks created, but the truth is that created ‘Ring of Earth,’ even its effect is Churning Earth. They took a bleed, even they had to take 8 bleeds, if Churning Earth created… and its damage is poorer than Ring of Earth casted by weapon skill.
And Its range is too weird. even enemy is in range(in a look the effect shows to me), They don’t take that.

Instanced housing reminds me of the housing system in EQ2… Well, It’s not I don’t like it. I love its housing system.
Exactly, It’s not that Developers couldn’t think that in development… There’d be some reason they had to set that as.

You can refer that function from EverQuest II, there’s a function to save and load Character’s look as some file… like *.sav?
I created my character lovely, but made his name bad… such as a mistype in his name, hah. I’m not sure I can make again that love look of him…
If It added, plz let already customized character be saved… and load it on customizing part in creation…
It says Healing Rain gives 4 regens, but It only gives 3 regens.
Healing Rain gives each regen per 3 sec. first(0 sec), half(3 sec), end(6 sec). but fourth regen is missing even tooltip says.
There’s three ways to fix it.
1. Edit its tooltip it gives 3 regens.
2. Longer its duration to 9 sec from 6 sec.
3. Make its work time 2 from 3.(It’ll work at 0, 2, 4, 6 sec.)

I tested Boon Duration with Ornate Snowflake(65LV Platinum Trinket). I wore five set, so took 5% boon duration. As a result of testing, that boon duration dosen’t work for skill’s duration… while the boon duration increase of food works well.
I’m not sure exquisite(other Snowflake Boon Duration) works well. but It’s pretty right that has bug.
Korean is untypable for Windows XP users, but Korean Windows 7 users are available to chat as Korean.
This is uncomfortable for XP user. They have to say English even they have their own language.
I’m not sure developers know this issue and whether they have any thought to fix that anyway or not. but I’d report this. I guess it’s the problem that other XP users of non-English have.
