just replayed LW season 3 episode 1. when we ask rytlok how to call our new guild a small norn girls jumps in and suggests “fate’s razor” … and then we have LW se3 ep6. during the test to become a member of the Shining Blade they both refer to “fate’s razor” as a metaphor… they’ve been watching us!!!
i love ANet for that little things… gonna stalk that norn girl and tell her that i know who she is
Hi guys,
I’m a casual player and have played every episode of LW story since season 2 so far. But with the start of season 3 after HoT I lost connection to the storyline(s). All of the sudden there were chakk, two rival elder dragons, lazarus, the white mantle, aurene, balthasar, the-eye-of-something… tbh, I’m confused as a skritt may be when solo. Would someone be so kind and explain to me what happened during season 3 and why?
what is tyria focusing on? killing the elder dragons? doesn’t sound like it. war with the white mantle? maybe… i dunno. balthasar threatening tyria? defenetly, but why?
please help and thanks a lot!

ANET what did I do to ya?
Cause if you liked PvP then you should have bought HoT
If you liked it then you shoulda bought Hot
Don’t be mad once you see that he went meta
If you liked it then you shoulda bought Hot…
From the perspective of someone who enjoys the core class more than the elite specs xD
Oh, oh, oh
hi there.
my friends and I heavily enjoy PvP at the moment, even though core classes seem to be rather underpowered compared to the elite specializations. but since our group mainly likes to play the core class, would it be possible for ANET to enable a combat mode, where you can chose that you want to fight with/against other players only using the original 5 trait lines?
what do you guys think? I often read complains about several elite specs. would you use such a tool for match making?
cheers,
Dschromm
@coro: the grandmaster trait in the tools trait line: gadgeteer (or something like this)… it makes the gadgets more potent and reduces their CDs
Hey ANet, my fellow GW2 players,
I really love the new elite specialization for the engineer – the scrapper. most of all I Iike the gyros (flying bots? hell yeah!). I find use for every single one, but I have serious troubles for the shredder gyro.
the good parts: the toolbelt skill is awesome! low cooldown, 2s daze and a lightning field <3
the rather bad parts: I have problems placing the shredder gyro itself. Despite it does near to no damage, I have to rely on allies to lay down the combofields on it, even in the enemy/enemies move/s away from it. Even the combo-fields the engineer has access to feel unsatisfying in combination with the shredder gyro. you place the gyro somewhere, lay down your field and the smart enemy player moves away. do I miss something? Has anyone ideas how to use it efficiently?
ANet, I don’t want this to sound barefaced, but would it be better if the gyro moves around with you? just like the function gyro. so i can make use of its whirl finishers on the way…
cheers,
