I disagree — they have mechanisms for checking bosses before rewards. Arah Path 2 already requires all bosses except for Lupi to be defeated or there’s no reward. It should be a simple matter to mark other bosses as required — no redesign necessary :-)
Now you say they have, but are you sure mate? They are suppose to have a mechanism for spawning WP after boss fight and yet there are/were some cool ways to ignore that. If those changes are so simple to make as you say they are, lots of stuff would be fixed by now. Always remember RIP TAFU – it was easier to cut off the path than change it a bit.
And imo there are no universal rules for dungeon bosses, each one of them seem to have personal mechanics regarding WP/reward/unlocking stuff – there is no magical button that would made all bosses in dungeons a must have to finish and there is no need since they can fix jp so well.
Last thing, some of dungeon bosses are designed to be optional so the problem is not skipping them, but exploiting maps in order to skip. That is prolly how anet sees it and it would explain all invisible walls fixes.

To fix that, or other dungeon issues like instance owner etc, you would have to redesign major parts of hardcore PvE content. And since no one is giving a flying kitten about dungeons(no gems in doin’ that) besides dungeons players no fix will occur.
Your question is just silly mate, its just like asking: why is Brie still spawning in all paths?
In other words, those changes wouldn’t be small and ain’t nobody got time for that with such a Living Story to tell.

The fact that most of these items ever existed is just blatantly a bug. The decision to throw cooldowns on them were for server performance/stability as the patch notes said, not for balance. Period. This was something that was long overdue.
Think of it this way: Between the embers and whistle, those items were effectively doubling/tripling the amount of players active in a map.
As for the Charrzooka, I’m not sure what the reasoning behind that change was. That wasn’t part of the change to summons, or at least that I’m aware of.

Ranger is not a class, ranger is a state of mind. And this state is what we hate.
Surely not going to craft another ascended armor. I’d rather uninstall.
If u crafted celestial like crafting is intended to be played there would be no need to anorther ascended since it’s so versitile.

Some people are just semi-masochistic and pug knowing full well what to expect so they can get a cool story about the latest ‘BHB’, even if they already are in a dungeon running guild.
Who doesn’t have friends and is not in a big guild (And won’t join one for many reasons) how is supposed to run dungeons? I am just curious to hear.
Then you would be a member of the other crowd that pugs out of necessity, in which case you still don’t really have much of a right to complain because it’s your decision to not be a part of a guild that has members willing to run dungeons.
In other words, I paid this game not just to be forced to go dps zerker builds on every character in order to make it well, I have not even the right to choose the guild to be in?
I believe that in w3 or spvp you will find meta builds without zerkgear.
If you play a lot of dungeons, you will have lots of gold.
If you have lots of gold, you can buy lots of gems w/o real money.
No real money no anets attention.

TEH TRU REASON: anet wanted to prove that they care about dungeons players and they did it verry well.
It was quite clever. If you wanted to be in the leaderboard by clearing 50, you’d have to pay for the agony. So a free goldsink for the ones that desperately wanted to have their name on a pointless leaderboard.
Correction: a non-existent pointless leaderboard.
Who will bet against me that Fractal Weapon boxes will mysteriously start dropping after this patch, and the leaderboard will suddenly go live? And they will say “those boxes were always in the game” and “the leaderboard needed time to gather data before going live” but it will be clear to everyone that they simply couldn’t ship those features by the deadline and they slipped them in later with no comment to avoid embarrassment.
Fractal weapon boxes are with us. We just can’t reach them.
This is not considered a bug.
The Fractal Skin Box is not dropping for the Fractal levels currently available (up to level 50).
It’s not accessible to anyone at this time.
This is like the most single best thing to say ever.
To be fair you also get 4 chests, loot, fractal relics, some infusions probably, pristine relic and possibly a fractal skin or ascended weapon/ring.
And doing CoF p1 twice you get 6 chests, a little loot, and a few champ bags(ascended weapon chance)
Not saying that the gold reward in fractals is good enough, but the non-gold rewards from other dungeons are nothing like the chest rewards from FotM. You get champ bags from FotM as well, and the chests seem to have a much higher chance at rares/exotics than a dungeon chest + new sigils and runes at 31+.
Non-gold rewards from dungeons eg dungeon tokens are still better than much higher chance for exo form fotm chest.

To make condi builds good in pve they would have to change the way conditions are stacking on foes or change hp pool on mobs. Either way it would made pve easymode. And still warriors are pretty good in condition damage.
Imo the best way to make nonheavy classes more popular is to give them direct dps options as good as wariors. If you could roll direct dps necro as easy as warrior less people would run away from 1+ necro groups. Or give them some cool utilities(the real problem with necro) – I don’t think anyone would take mesmer in a group without pull/reflect/tw, ele without fgs and mightstacking abilities or engi without vunstacks.
Some things are more efficient in pve(directDPS) and some in pvp(condi/cc) and you can’t change that no matter how hard you try.
Imagine the world where condi damege is hella good in pve and all guardians are QQ their fire only. I can dream, can’t i?

Hell, I found all of those “Need class X”, or “Class Y is baaad” to be strictly dependent on the team and team members prejudice and skill.
Everything I’ve encountered so far in the game (And that means pretty much everything since I play since first Beta Event and regularly) is totally doable with any class without much hassle provided players know how to ride the class and build.
There is video of 5 naked bow rangers fighting simin and yet it proves nothing. Doability is not an issue here. Ofc any level of FotM is doable with 5 naked condi necro but it will take days to complete.
Zerkway is not some awesome godlike uberpro goku bam bam way of doing things, its just the fastest. And most players want that, not the challenge of lvl 50 fotm full condi.

Today I did a lvl 20 fractal run and a lvl 14 one, yet only the first one gave me a daily chest reward. How come?1-10

I still want to know for sure if fractal weapons come from level 10 dailies or not.

To be fair you can get Dusk out of random mob and yet not a lot of ppl in search of it in open world.
In rng system the only true reward is one you get for sure, not something you have chance for.
Travel golem cost money cuz there is no real gold sink in the game so anet have to make silly one.
Tho the encouragement theory is still ok while one needs zerg to go through tower.
CoE is hard if you can’t count to 3.
AC is one of the hardest dungeons because it demands actual teamwork (or icebow), when other dungeons are mainly dps race. In fact the hardest content in game is one that ppl need to do something strategy like. For eg I have seen more 1-4 CoE p1 fails than CoF, TA, SE, HotW, CM fails combined.
The real reason why AC as a first dungeon is not a good idea is because you need to know a lot of things that most 35 lvl ppl don’t know. On the other side it’s a good one because you have an opportunity to learn stuff like when to dodge at boss and how to team play (or how to use fgs and ice bow against burrows). All others dungeons (maybe besides Arah) are easy because you only need to know what wall of reflection is(CM), where to skip(TA), wall of reflection or feedback is(SE), how to faceroll(CoF), what gniva the butcher op attack looks like(HotW) and how to count to 3(CoE). There are exceptions ofc like CM p2 when strategy like gameplay makes you to put barrels down at the same time (which obviously is so hard that only few of the chosen ones are blessed enough to do it). Even in Arah there are only few places that are truly hard and again the hardest parts are ones that need you to do sth else than pure dps aka “how to find Simin”.
So it kinda looks like this: team play explo paths(8)> the rest of explorable dungeon content(17). (Maybe some mistakes in number of paths^^)
TL;DR
Teamplay is hard, dps race is not.

When I use “Play Now” button Skyhammer is prolly 90% of time my starting map.
I thought that the script you guys use to put players in was fixed to do that – so all players could knew the new map. It is almost impossible for me to get Forest of Niflhel or Legacy of the Foefire as a starter map. Hope it helps someone.
