I don’t think it went into over time. It looks like Stronghold is just points driven instead of objective driven which just seems wrong.
In a Stronghold game, we got through the other teams gates and in a clutch play we killed the enemies lord before they could get ours. Yet, we still lost. Why isn’t killing the lord a win regardless of points?
If you keep TWO opponents busy somewhere, that means your other team members can fight 4 against 3 and win on another point and cap it.
I want the same PUGs as you. I thought that for the longest time, then time and time again I’ve been proven wrong.
I think they based their ranger off of something closer to a Dungeons & Dragons ranger. Those are part fighter, part druid in that they’re a martial fighter with select spells from the druid list and as a class feature they get an animal companion.
That being said, I wish Rangers class mechanic was something related to range and them being “Unparalled archers” as opposed to having a pet. I’m not saying they should do away with pets, but I think it’d be a better solution if pets were optional, like they were in GW1.
I main a thief in sPvP and I think that points 1 and 3 would be perfectly reasonable to implement.
It seems silly that you can be smashing on a warriors shield and him having no idea that you’re standing right by him.
Reveal on misses seems a little much as there’s “attacks” like steal that can both deal damage and apply stealth. Sometimes I’ll want it for the damage, other times I’ll use it for the buffs and stealth. It seems silly that using it to add another 3s of stealth on top of what I have would just ruin the whole thing.
The chill not affecting initiative already seems a little slow as initiative is the thiefs version of weapon skill cooldowns, so that the regen should be reduced by the same amount as regular skill recharges are increased.
The only problem is that ANet didn’t want any race to be better than the other. That’s why an Asuran Warrior is exactly as strong as a Norn warrior.
dodging would be interesting. The map was also a lot more open and I personally found that the 1-hit made it a lot more interesting
The biggest differences were the lack of evades and that the balls 1 hit if I remember correctly.
As the title says. Dragon ball was definitely one of the best things ever in Guild Wars 1. Now we have this… abomination. It is literally the least fun thing I’ve ever felt forced to do in this game and I can’t not do it because then I miss out on the daily laurel.
Isn’t it possible to just bring it back to the way it was in Guild Wars 1?
This guy comes in, starts insulting everyone, especially the commanders and is quite literally no help at all. All he serves to do is bring our already low morale even lower.
Is there anything that can be done, aside from teaching the newcomers how to block him? Reporting him obviously isn’t doing anything because he’s been doing this for a solid 2 months now.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much kitten in one thread before now.
