Guild Wars 2

I guess my problem with Sec and torch is it look so … weak compare to the heavy armor I am wearing. Looks odd, I like the GS and Hammer look on it. Sword and shield and mace too is nice. Do we get better looking Sec and Torches later on?

Hmm I am finding myself disliking the Secpter and Torch deal, I can do it but how much worse off would I be if I do Hammer and GS? I see on Dlfy there is a Hammer Guardian build. It does not say there a second build to it, so I figure… maybe the great sword?

Also wasn’t the Lizard people the bad guys in GW 1?

So… why aren’t these advance little guys ruling the world? I mean jeezus they are so advance I would not be surprise that their pyramid was actually as spaceship…

So I am running into a problem. I seem to be under leveling. I have so far completed Queensdale and Kessex Hills and hit level 25, but the moment I get into the area to the right. It is 25-35. I am only getting quests that let me do 26 on Up while I am STILL 25. AM I doing it wrong?

I see, so it is Greatsword and secondary weapon is Scepter and Torch. I am assuming the three stat is still Ferocity, Precision and Power correct? As for Loot Stick or Staff, is it pretty much for trash mobs?

So when I am dpsing, how do I know when to switch between primary and secondary?

I plan on raiding first and foremost as I am here mainly for PVE. PvP is more secondary for me.

So, I am playing a guardian, heavy armor with that type of look is my bag. I been looking at guides and what not on youtube and any website. There seem to be some confliction information.

I hear something about a Greatsword and Staff vs Staff and Torch. I have been vendoring (level 22) staff and torch thinking I have to stick with whatever I need, Sword and Shield being the bread and butter.

Can anyone tell me what is the end game weapons I should be going for so I can get use to building towards that? Thank you!

Oh wow, well I figure I focus on leveling first before I focus on the crafting aspect. Also I am not yet in a guild so I’ll have to to look into that later. Glad to know Karma can come back like weed.

Thanks you all so much! This really help alot even as I am looking at the download bar. Quick clarification. So, there will be a part of the story I won’t be able to do? The Season 1 in particular? Should I have even bought the season 2?

So, Guild Wars 2 for me is one of those games that have always been on my peripheral, naturally I am moving here from Wow, but I have played other MMO before, BDO was something I played for a bit and since it is much like the GW2 model, I decided I lose nothing buy trying out GW 2.

So here come the noob question.

1. So when I was making the purchase it said I should by some Sort of Season 2 pack for 16.00 bucks. Is this like the latest end game content need to be bought?

2. How healthy is this community of Guild War 2? I don’t mean this to be disparaging, I just would like to know if I am leveling from 1- level cap, will I be mostly alone or do people still roll alts?

3. Wow has Wow Head and some personal site that are really good. Anything like that for Guild War 2?

4. I am going Guardian, I was a Ret paladin in Wow, Vaklyrie in BDO, Marauder in FF14, Lancer in Tera, PLD in FF11. So as you can see I tend to gyrate toward those armor+magical class. Any good website that can gives me tips and pointers?

5. What is the meta and endgame like and do I ask to join a guild when I hit certain requirement both in terms of gears or achievements?

Edit: Oh Sixth Question: Crafting. Like Wow who you usually take Mining and Blacksmith for armor, anything like that I should pursue for Guardian? Is it as accessible or something I have to dedicate myself to get the most of of it.
