As of now anyone can begin the game and work their way through the SPVP ranks to make it up to the top of the leaderboards; however, this is impossible for PVE. Anyone who has missed this many dailies has no chance at making it onto the top of the leaderboards.

It is no secret that teams in Tyria are gathering in order to complete dungeons in the fastest time possible. Why not simply add a speed run mode, it could be the same paths as the explorable mode, except it would have a little timer in the corner and would count towards placing on the dungeon speed run leaderboard list.

We really need some healthy PVE competition for the hardcore pve players, and I think this would be perfect for it. This also might help separate the elite dungeon runners from the ones who are not so elite, allowing for non-hardcore and hardcore gamers to find groups of other speed runners, and less hardcore players to find groups who simply want to complete the path, or just mash stuff at a slower pace.

Like others said it’s a new generation thing. To many casual gamers out there playing games for 10 seconds on their phone before switching to a new game. I played gw1 for over five years and I plan to play gw2 for at least as long. Just keep playing and make a friends list of the people who are playing for the joy of adventure.

Wow, thanks for that video mrhodes. I have not made it to the 70-80 zones yet, but at least I know what to expect now. That was some really crappy obvious botting in that video.

Guildwars, I played that for about 5 years. I also played Ever Quest II for a couple of months.

Try setting animation to low in the graphics options.

I loved GW1, but I do agree with Renegadeimp in this case. I am hoping more traditional MMO features will be added to the game in future updates.

Definitely not bannable unless you exploit it as an advantage, but I think the Devs want you to jump all over and explore as much as possible. I think some of the ledges were put into the game just for the nice view.

I think Wortermelon is actually making a good point. BFNK it’s illogical to compare the negativity involved with botting in a game to murder LOL. Some people may not know botting is possible, having discussions about it may only lead to more people considering botting. Reporting the issue quietly to the developers is what we should do. Arenanet already made an announcement that they deleted accounts for botting. I am sure they will make more announcements if it is necessary. But I agree the bots are annoying!
