For new race, you have to exclude the ones that you help during the storyline, namely grawl, hylek, skitt, quaggan, and orge. Also, kodan should be out since they are pretty much same as norn, which are redundant. Harpy, centaur, imp, and margonite are too evil.

Guys, if you’re using mesmer for anything else beside portal, then you’re doing it wrong. Mesmers are forever the portal slaves and we should embrace that glorious fate, or go play some other class.
The correct place for a mesmer is not in any party but at the end of JP’s, porting people for tips. Right now there is a great demand for this service in LA.
If we follow the logic of this thread, then some class must have that “Ascended warhorn” as its new weapon. Eles need to suck it up and take one for the team.
On the other hand, thief should get warhorn so that they can blast their own smokescreen.
Guys, if you are using (or planning to use) mesmer for anything beside portal, then you are doing it wrong! Let’s just go back to being a portal slave and camp all day at the end of JP to port people for tips. That’s the glory of being mesmer! Embrace it!
Yes, you should log in Tuesday 6/23 and give the new features a try. Then you will soon get bored of them and go back to playing WoW or whatever MMO you are playing. GW2 is dying and the xpac won’t be able to save it.

Guess what, in the first expansion of GW2, the continent of Cantha will become available and Tyria will be flooded with products “Made in Cantha.” There will be arm race between Canthan human and the charr/asura. Not to mention they’ve been pumping most of their money into nuclear weapon!
