Save money and buy it. Only precursor I’ve gotten in 2.5k hours was The Chosen from tossing in 3 rare harpoon guns and a trident into the forge for kicks. What sucks is that I’ve witnessed 2 precursors drop in parties I started. :/

@ Echo: what armor is that in your 2nd picture? He looks amazing!

Head: Engineer starter helm (transmute it across characters)
Chest & legs: armor from Honor of the Waves
Shoulders, gloves & boots: Tier 3 Norn cultural

HOTW armor is great stuff. The sets mix well with Norn cultural.

Edit: I wanted to add that the moustache I chose goes through some of the face masks.

I’ve got high latency in GW2 as the sun goes down so I sneak into SAB in the (early) morning. Like in the morning, I can join zerg vs zerg in wvw with no hiccups. But at night, I end up having 2+ minutes of skill lag from the sheer amount of clicks happening from both sides. 8D

I’m just hoping the next zones are less reliant on having low latency. I thought the Aetherblade steam spring pads were a great addition since they launched you on intervals rather than each moment you are stepping on the pad.

World 1’s pretty easy provided you aren’t lagging as well as w2z1. Zone 2 is pretty long and for me was a majorkittenbecause of high latency + the broken insta kill checkpoint at the spring pads. Don’t forget thet Trib cloud. Zone 3’s only tough because it’s dark.

Despite the hiccups, it was great conquering SAB

I’m in Asia and I play on NA’s servers. I was in trib mode w2z2 earlier at the insta kill checkpoint that spawns you on spikes where you have to jump on pillars and bounce pads to get to a broken cloud checkpoint.

My latency starts getting longer around noontime here so I was having trouble using the bounce pads to cross. There are 2 things you should remember here: 1) 2nd bounce is higher than the first 2) moving forward before you bounce gives you momentum. However, for oceanics like us, if we hold forward too early, the server will think we walked off of the bounce pads and thus kill us. Time holding forward based on your current latency. In my case, it was around half a second before landing on the bounce pad. You might see yourself walk off of the pad but you’ll hopefully still get launched up (and not see yourself suddenly falling a moment later) with enough momentum to clear the gap.

You might also want to move yourself a little bit back on the bounce pad so you have room to “run” (moving forward while you’re in the squatting phase). Make your move on at least the 2nd bounce.

Oh and Anet, this was the most infuriating part EVER. Bounce pads over a fatal gap where if you fall, you respawn on a checkpoint that kills you and if you move forward while respawning, you step on more spikes that kill you so that you can die again when you respawn (or die if you don’t move enough and in time). Plus the next cloud checkpoint is broken so it sends you to this cursed insta kill carpet to face the bounce pads with latency all over again.

Just did 250 tickets on him an hour ago. No change as far as I can tell, still teleports on the dot, no insta kill shots. It was pretty laggy yesterday, I can tell you that.

I did s/p 25/30/0/0/15 almost full zerker and thieves guild with 2 init on signet use, signet of malice/shadow/infiltrator/assassin’s. All i did was perma blind and —headshot-- the effing dog whenever big boss tossed meat and it appeared to make him stop in his tracks. each time Could be just luck or something but my biggest issue was actually surviving their combined attacks.

-Dedicate pistol main hand to condition damage (changing #2 and Unload to be more in line)
-Give thieves rifles or longbows to a) increase our limited weapon selection b) ranged direct damage at 1200 at last, hell 900 for all I care as long as we have more options on the field

Or, if they can somehow make a system so that equipping P/P modifies #1’s attributes into a power-focused weapon to better suit #3, that’d be great. Unlikely, but who knows? While we’re at it, this could incorporate body shot into #1 (short duration single stack vulnerability) and remove the bleed outright. Of course, this still calls for a change to the 2nd skill.

I can do 5k and that goes up to 7k when they go down to <50% hp. I could prob hit 8k if i had max exotics. Trinkets are green. Sigil of bloodlust. Another factor is that there could be area vulnerability.

Which sigil - force or air for daggers?

I run with a superior sigil of luck in my sword and superior air in my pistol. Yes air procs on any skill I use.

As for 2 sigils of air, I wanna know If they:
1) trigger independently (like 2 lighhtning strikes in a row)
2) share the same cooldown

I doubt that they stack chances additively though.
