My issue is not regarding armor but regarding skill visual, so if this is the wrong place, please move accordingly.
Skill issue: Aegis
Race: Human
Class: Guardian
As you will notice in the screenshots, Aegis is having a collision with characters body as if its stuck horizontally. I even called in another player to join me in screenshot to verify if the issue is only with me or is it with everyone else. It appeared that other player did not have that issue, but as you will see, to me it looks skewed on everyone it seems.
I first noticed this couple of weeks ago, but I was hoping coming patches would fix it. After couple of patches the issue is still there so I decided to post it hoping for fix.
I also submitted this error with in game bug report about a week ago.
Please let me know if any additional information is required.
There was nothing random about trait placement. GS is a fine secondary weapon to hammer. Radiant fire is for the burn duration foremost, but you could run scepter/torch for an extra 5% damage on the swap and better use out of radiant fire. (The only traits that aren’t really locks are 2 in valor and radiance)
Also, don’t know what is meant by conditional damage of since skill, but the burns add 650ish dps, while glacial heart has some direct damage, but is in no way emphasized. The idea and key behind this build is 1) perma chill 2) perma burn 3) stacking damage modifiers for chill and burn. You get all the benefits of chill with the added pressure burning supplies to deal more damage by virtue of stickiness and if course, damage mods.
I said random because his 2nd weap is GS … not scepter/torch, but I guess I overlooked trait description, other than that I understand. One thing that interests me is, Chill Duration vs Condition Duration.
Using build editor you will see that Glacial Hammer skill dmg is emphasized with condition duration instead of conditional dmg … perhaps that is how it is supposed to be, but I find it confusing. I guess Chill as a condition does no dmg so that’s why.
Nothing really make sense because of the Glacial Heart CD … unless you would have 10 of these on your side jumping around doing it … that could be fun lol
Something like this is what I was talking about. Swap some sigils around and mouse over their durations on the skills page.
I don’t think GS is such an great idea as a 2nd weapon, and did you randomly placed traits? Radiant Fire?
The key here should be condition duration. Conditional dmg of the skill itself is too weak anyway to be emphasized.

@NICENIKESHOE this food is even better than the skill itself, now it got me thinking why is it even there, what’s the purpose (of such a long cd).
So we will just be waiting for an update when it may become meta lol, until then, just ignore I guess.
Has anyone looked into Valor VIII (Glacial Hammer) yet? I don’ think it would have much use in PvE but it sounds potential for WvW.
I was setting something up like 0/5/6/3/0 with Rune of the Ice, but build editor only … and even in the editor it lacks something, I dunno.
I’ve been running this for few days now and I think I like it. Enough survival and decent DPS with decent HP and DMG reduction. I just didn’t like the zerk ultra low HP and defense running around so I played around a little bit, and I think it works ok.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Right now I don’t have all of accessories but it still works OK with what I have. Have it a go …
