I would bet there are people who are trying for the endless tonic, which will be out of reach after tomorrow. There probably aren’t as many people actually putting corn into the system as there are people looking to snap it up 30 thousand units at a time.

I got the consumable TP rolls from the personalized trick or treat bags you get from trading candy corn to kids. The rate that I got them was pretty low, out of the 400ish bags I opened I maybe got like 15 of them (I think they are 3 lobs per consumable).

@Jabberwock, Yes, the endless halloween tonic I got was from these personalized trick or treat bags.

I do not know if the bags you can get off the trade post (the not personalized ones) have the endless tonics or the toilet papers.

The endless halloween tonic is quite entertaining (ended up getting one after about 400ish bags). I would gladly repeat the process to procure and open as many personalized trick or treat bags as it would take if it were possible to get an unlimited supply of the toilet paper rolls. The roll of TP is just so much fun to lob, I want to use it everywhere. Throw TP at the throngs of undead in the Cursed shore, off of scenic vistas, or off of a keep wall at a horde of enemy attackers in wvw.

Just want to put out there that there is a counter for this. Attack the gate from the outside with your own catapult. Yes it is kind of cheezy that the catapult on the inside effectively stops all melee/rams, but it isn’t like there is no way to work around it.

There are people who want many changes to underwater combat, but I really only want one thing.

To execute a downed player underwater in a fashion that isn’t plinking down their HP pool a second time. Underwater combat/pvp already happens at a subdued rate for possible design reasons, but if it is more than 1v1 underwater it can be frustrating to try and finish one player before they rally or heal themselves from downed, while trying to fight the still alive players.

There is a fundamental difference between being downed on the ground vs. underwater, you are free to move around, so a finishing move might not be feasible. Perhaps the underwater finisher could be a ranged/short range so you still have to get next to someone to start it but it will finish if they are crawlswimming away from you and would still give some classes a way to interrupt it just like on the ground.

That being said, I love underwater pvp in gw2. I came from Aion where the flight combat was just a joke. Underwater combat in gw2 compared to that is like a dream come true.

Immobalized / Cannot Move for no reason bug

This has happened to me on my thief and ranger. It usually happens right after using a skill and BAM, can’t move, but can still use combat/utility/elite skills just fine. On the thief a steal would fix it is as I could teleport to something and reset my animation or something. Ranger on the other hand I couldn’t figure out anything other than log out to character select and log back in.

I hate to be the guy to say “L2P” or just get coordinated. But I play on Sanctum of Rall and every single night Fort Aspenwood gets all 3 orbs. We usually get back at least one of the orbs during prime time, and then loose it again later in the night when our numbers fall off.

It is not impossible to siege down a keep and get the orb back. It takes much coordination, but with a one or two well defended trebuchets, some well executed diversionary tactics, clear communication, cooperation of your faction in the zone and patience, it is entirely possible to remove the supply stores from the keep and force the enemy into making a choice between holding the orb or holding potential points from all of the other points that they may not be defending because they have to run supply by foot to repair a wall. But if you don’t have the numbers to defend the siege equipment then there really is not much hope of removing the orbs from their grasp.

Now, with all that said I do believe that the orb bonuses are slightly crazy to deal with. I do not like facing each day with orbs of power held in reinforced keeps defended by a larger population that is not only bloodthirsty, but has buffs equivalent to a very hefty piece of armor and 15% more health. It is a very daunting task and can take longer than I would like put into it as it is going to be taken over in a matter of minutes or when I go to sleep. But at the end of the day it is just a game, and you get as much enjoyment out of it as you want. I like being an underdog, and what I have witnessed in wvw has been epic on a grand scale, the victories are glorious and the defeat is oh so bitter. Keep in mind that this is coming from someone who plays during prime time when the population is healthy, so my opinion is probably quite different than someone who plays during the off hours of the server.

One problem that I think is the player base’s reluctance to buy and use siege equipment, people seem to be barley floating their repair bills because there is still much they need to spend coin on (skill books, armor/weapons etc) as they haven’t reached level 80, haven’t decided on a build to focus on etc.

My idea for orbs of power/owning the whole map is that if you have the force to hold all 3 orbs or own 100% of the map, then your faction does not get to see battle indicators on the map, as you obviously have enough forces to scout and patrol everything you own. Perhaps this could be on a sliding scale, like if you own 2 orbs battle indicators only show up for groups of 10+ instead of 5+. If you own all 3 then you only see them for 20+. Now this would all be invalidated when they release mobile apps that could do the same thing as the map (if they do). But I kind of like the idea that if your server is so cool and has such wvw prowess then you can’t rely on the map for where the orange battle indicators are.

Just had this happen to me today, had a 2 gem balance, got 798 gems and opened up a bank slot expansion which worked fine and then got a dye pack, and the gems were deducted from my balance but it hasn’t been delivered yet.

Right after the failed transaction my recent purchase history was blank, which it shouldn’t have been (i have other transactions). 5-10 minutes later all my past transactions returned to the list, but not the failed dye pack that had been charged.
