anyone else having connection issues? starting yesterday, my game pauses like it is going to disconnect – but it never disconnects and it never reconnects. it just sits there idle and i have to exit and restart. if i click over to safari – i can confirm my internet connection is up, so its not a connectivity drop. and thanks to megaserver, when i log back in i can’t finish the event i was doing because land on a different server. frustrating!

after the TGupdate patch today, mine was sort-of working. i logged out and did the old delete GW2 folder trick(see post #2 in this thread). now it seems to be working normally.

same issue here. TP not accessible :-(

i’ve crashed 12 times in the last 2 hours. not even in combat — usually standing still managing inventory. error log says this:

seriously!! i kill time waiting for the knights to spawn, client crash, empty overflow, no credit. VERY frustrating!!!!!!

just upgraded my 2009 iMac to a new 2013 model (3.5 i7 w/ gtx 780m). guild wars 2 ran OK on my old box on mostly low settings. its runs great on the new box except for one annoying issue. at what appears to be random times- the fans kick up to full blast. i’ve watched the CPU and temperatures and do not see any corresponding spikes. even on low graphics settings it happens. i can’t tell if this related to the latest patch performance issues or if this Mac is a lemon. anyone else have fan noise issues?
