The problem was a Windows update.. I restored my system and now the game works normally

I play PVE and my ping is normal I guess.. near 1 second playing from South America.. but I go to WvsW and my delay goes to 20 or 30 seconds.. totally unplayable

We need a fix asap ANET.. the game is unplayable since a few weeks ago.. before this the game was working fine

Delay and lag spikes all over the place.. GW2 is unplayable for me since like 1 month ago inside the WvsW map.. I try to play this game but I really just can’t.. in PVE maps my delay is 1 second so is playable.. but I go to W vs W and my delay is just ridiculous

Skills with 10 to 20 secs delay is just horrendous.. I give up on the game until this get fixed.. ANET didn’t help us at all on this problem

I find funny that some people feel good about their servers when their only job is to stay inside of a huge zerg and hit their head on the keyboard to win

I think is a much better experience to be the server with less people than the rest and have specific jobs during fights..

People who just jump into a zerg to spam skills ain’t getting better at this.. but if they only care about the general score well good for you.. you will win but you won’t get better at this.. that’s for sure :P

weekly match allow normal guys whose need to work / school to hv better life-game balance though out the week. Most ppl can only spends hours in WvW in weekend. 24 hr? It may be fun for those not work in weekdays only…..
Go back to work on weekdays then find that server down tier because of the weekday matches definitely make ppl like me feel meaningless to join WvW.

Then 48 hours matchups.. or 24 hours the weekend.. this is only to bring back the order to the tiers faster.. check millenium page and you will see how weird and boring the matchups will be for several weeks if they last more than 2 days

Just that.. next month will be extra boring with all this weird matchups coming since friday

With all this weird matchups we will have a really boring and long month.. they should activate the 24 hours matchups so the tiers can go back to normal faster

yeah flank the zerg balls and they fall over
dominate them in the NA to the point that they cant recover in the oceanic
put aggressive pressure on WM in EB, they cant fight in the open field at all
cap behind WM because they don’t play defense
have decent oceanic coverage, if they cant pvd then they wont win.

basically its very little skill and all coverage with them. they will just wait you out in NA then pvd everything in the morning with their oceanics.

LOL, i dont know what else to say. i have no idea what you’re talking about. Kain has 24/7 coverage and big numbers. We have strong NA, strong Oceanic, strong Asian and good EU coverage. We’re beating and out-scoring DB and Mag in NA primetime with an average 400 PPT. We have improved dramatically in this match-up, playing defensive, building sieges at the right places in our keeps/towers , using team work, rallying on commanders when needed, having small groups capturing supply camps etc. As we progress tiers, we are getting better as a server and we are using more better and efficient tactics in dealing with numerous problems that comes our way.

You just make it sound pretty.. now you have zergs 24/7.. that’s all Kaineng can do well.. with that kind of numbers all day long they should have 6xx points no matter what

We need the 24 hours match ups to get ratings into place as soon as possible

This is a 24 hour game with players from across the globe. Are you saying you’re disappointed with your own server’s lack of night-time coverage, or are you trying to imply that points shouldn’t count when you’re asleep?

I’m only saying that when all maps are full in all servers Kaineng is really weak.. think about it a little

Well, then you blow the tactical advantage you can get by setting up a treb in a snowstorm which would normally be in sight…

I will be the one with the option disabled, so the rest will see the storm anyway, and if I disable the option I shouldn’t be able to see the treb if the storm is on

I always lag like hell in big fights when there is snow all over the place.. we need an option to disable this effects so we can have a more decent framerate in big battles

What happened to Yak’s, I understand why IoJ is having problems. But Yak’s can’t of lost that many, one of problems I’ve seen with Yak’s groups you guys run 80% low levels where Mag runs 80% geared lvl 80’s….

Since [CL] transfered to Yak’s they are going down hard.. just saying

I haven’t had this problem since a while ago.. but yesterday I was in the 2 or 3 fps in big fights.. did Anet changed something in the engine or something?

I can play even at 15 fps or maybe 10 in big fights.. but I can’t play with 2 fps.. the lag yesterday was really unplayable

So now everyone will play thief.. W vs W will be a joke now.. AOE damage is a problem when is made by siege.. a well fortified keep with decent superior siege can hold zergs with no problems at all..

Now let’s all play thief and make W vs W a big pvp arena.. it’s fun how they want to nerf this and thief’s keep winning vs 2 or 3 enemies easily with perma stealth and huge damage

So now everyone will play thief and all ele will use daggers.. this will become a zerg game more than already is.. AOE damage is fine you just have to move out of the way

If they nerf this it will be imposibble to take a reinforced tower or keep with decent siege on it..

So again DB and YB double team EB.. you should try fight each other sometimes

If 10 people sweep SM entirely there is no mesmer who can hide so well to not be found.. I hope this thing about fake walls is not true.. because if it is Anet need to fix it asap.. and people shouldn’t exploit this bugs to get the advantage of a secure mesmer portal anytime they want it

It’s almost fun to see how DB and Yak won’t even attack each other.. did I miss something?

Well, +900 players of the CL alliance against 20 or 30 RP is amazing funny, hunting contest are really good for incentivate WvW in our guilds

Hunting contest? .. if you have so many players in your alliance and managed to get wiped several times during the night by those 20 RP players you really need to stop and think about your strategy a little bit.. just saying

I would like the jumping puzzle to be permanent.. is so much fun and they could change the rewards for something random .. that way people will be really looking forward to try it and learn how to get to the top

Fix it please.. the hat looks terrible if you have a female character and looks bald xD

There are Meta-event chains in Queensdale (Shaemoor), Kessex Hills (northeast) and Garridan fields (southwest). once one of these is compleated, doors will have a pumpking over their heads. enter these doors.

For some reason the game is running much worse in W vs W right now for me and many other friends.. I don’t know if this was because of an update but this really needs a fix

Again the enmies are invisible many times and the framerate goes to 5 fps or even less in some parts of the fight.. even if we are alone in a big group hitting a door

I really hope Anet can fix this.. before this problems my framerate was bad anyway in W vs W but always in the range of 9 fps or more.. now i can hit even 2 or 3 fps and in general the framerate is really bad

Right now W vs W is unplayable for me and many other friends with even better rigs than mine

Impossible to play like that.. attacking the “air” is not fun.. fix it please :S

We need to be able to change the skills order and get a decent ranged weapon or at least make the scepter attacks go three times faster.. right now you hit like 10% of the attacks.. this is really annoying.. I’m about to change class and I’m a 80 full exotic guardian -.-

After the defense of the ship using the cannons.. the next part never starts.. we are stuck in the ship and the history never continues

PS: I hope Anet also check duration of skills.. most of my guardian shields and stuff last much less than what they say on the description

When I bought them I saw that the chilling effect lasted 3 seconds ( is the last effect of the 6 runes ) .. but when I activate it in PvE it lasts even less then 1 seconds and it’s really useless with such a low duration

I hope this get fixed.. many guardian skills also say in the description that last for example 3 seconds and they only last half of that time

Those runes cost me some gold and now I find them almost useless because their main effect lasts less than one second instead of the 3 seconds stated in the description

My post wasn’t about me having the option. It’s the fact that there will be worthless players bringing down the whole team because they are playing with invisible allies.

You don’t get it.. you still can see their names.. so you know their position and how many people you have with you.. Aion had this command and it was really usefull ( Aion was made by Ncsoft also btw )

Check my topic.. is about the /effect command used in Aion also.. that could alot.. when the fight was over 100 people on each side using “/effect” plus “Shift+F12” was the best solution and was totally playable.. you can still see all players names but not their characters ( from your team ) and the framerate was playable

WvsWvsW right now can take my fps to even 4 or 5 and that’s just game breaking

I believe that they will fix this in time.. I’ve seen many zones of the game double in fps performance since the 1st beta.. I believe they have to go zone by zone optimizing them for every possible setup that we have

I agree that the performance should be much much better.. I’ll keep my hopes up for the game to run much better soon enough.. the game is perfect we just need that performance boost to really enjoy it

Well I do notice a performance increase when I OC my cpu (i7 980x).
FPS never drops below 45 during WvW @ 4.5ghz.
Drops to like 35 @ stock.

So everyone needs a 4.5 Ghz processor to play WvsWvsW decently at 45 fps ?

I hope that’s a joke because the requirements for the game are really low

I have an older 4870 and in some maps my Gpu works 80-85% and the framerate is decent.. but in many others only works 25-30% and the game runs really slow.. in WvsWvsW hitting 10 fps sometimes wich is unplayable

This is exactly why we need the “/effect” command used in Aion.. many people can’t handle large events or masive WvsWvsW fights.. it’s impossible to enjoy this fights with 10 fps or less

I hope they can give us this command.. in Aion was really usefull

We really need this command.. Ncsoft already made it for Aion masive battles.. WvsWvsW is almost unplayable for many people when we have over 30 people on screen

Aion also had an option to simplify all other characters.. made them use a default armor with really low details and really simple.. with that plus the “/effect” command the masive battles with 100+ players were really playable

Please Anet give us this command.. there is no suggestions forum that’s why I posted this here

In many masive Dynamic Events and specially in WvsWvsW many times this command could be really usefull.. this command was in Aion and made all skills and special effects dissapear.. you can only see where they are targeted but that increased the framerate almost to the double and made massive battles much more playable for people that hits 10 fps or less in large scale battles and events

We need this command for Masive PvP and for Masive Dynamic Events.. I hope you can add that command to Guild Wars 2.. it could be really usefull and many people wll be able to play WvsWvsW with a much decent framerate

PS: I’m asking this since Aion was made by Ncsoft and they know that I mean with Masive battles and hundreds of effects going on in the screen plus 100+ characters on screen

My framerate can be nice in some maps like Wayfarer Foothills.. in this maps my Gpu works 60-85% almost all the time.. not the best gpu usage but the game runs over 45fps almost all the time ( the only exception is in masive events )

In many other maps like when you start a human character.. the game only uses my gpu at 30% and the framerate is half of what I have in Wayfarer.. many other maps do this with my gpu usage.. in Lion’s Arch my gpu barely works 30% and the framerate is low all the time

I hope you can achieve the same optimization that I have in Wayfarer Foothills.. if the game used my gpu over 80% all the time my framerate could be much better

After this update performance decreased by 15-20 fps .. no changes in hardware or software.. the update was the only reason for this decrease in performance

My girlfriend had her Gpu working 100% all the time in all maps( her GPU is a 5700 series Radeon ).. I believe this is not normal because the game run for me max 85% in maps where the game is optimized

In many maps my Gpu ( Radeon 4870 1 GB ) only works 35% and the framerate is really low.. in others my gpu works over 80% and the game runs better

I hope Anet can check this issues and this update because the decrease in performance was really noticeable
