Bump, I would like some insight from the mesmer community on this please.

I’m currently in the process of writing some GW2 fanfiction that crossovers with Twilight, but I’m stuck and need help. My Mesmer would be transported to the Twilight Universe due to her using a portal to escape from Balthazar, but he intervened and changed the direction of it with most of her powers relatively intact with the exception that her portal isn’t working for some reason.

My plan is to avoid writing a Mary Sue fanfiction, but at the same time still have her as a strong female protagonist. My question is if it’s possible that my Mesmer would be able to defend herself against vampires/other supernatural creatures with just her base Mesmer skills? Or should I add in her chrono skills as well?

I’m a chronomancer main looking for a raiding guild that is semi hardcore, but I’m deaf. Let me know if that’s a problem or not.

Rewatch the Mirage video again, it specifically says that the axe can be used at close and mid range. Therefore, it’s a hybrid of both.

It’s designed for a party of five, not 3, so get two more people if you can.

Okay thanks, for clarification, I already have ascended minstrel’s gear, I was just asking for the trinkets part. I am already farming for the ascended trinkets in the LS3 maps. Your input on this is really appreciated and wanted.

So I can run the traditional domination/illusion build then even with minstrel’s gear?

I also wanted to ask if it was best that I take a SoC as I don’t fancy using foods/buffs that will expire? Will this hurt me in the long run or?

Sorry I should have clarified, the exotic minstrel trinkets that can only be crafted with freshwater pearls? I’m using the minstrel build that Teapot uses in his youtube video if that makes sense? Sorry for not being clear with my post.

I was operating under the assumption that commander’s gear wouldn’t be viable with a minstrel’s gear? I assumed that the commander’s gear is more fitted for Dom/Illusionary build while minstrel’s gear is more for the minstrel’s build?

Morning all,

After much farming, I have finally acquired a full set of leadership runes for my chronomancer from Dragon’s Stand. I’m currently wearing full minstrel gear with the leadership runes, and my boon duration without food is at 51%. I know that I need to farm LS3 maps in order to get ascended minstrel gear, but I can’t help, but wonder if it’s better for me to go with the traditional domination/illusion build for raids?

I only ask because it seems that minstrel’s trinkets are expensive due to needing freshwater pearls.

The workaround for the 32 bit client does not work for me, it will let me log in, but it says that it encounters an issue with connecting with the log in server.

I’m having the same issue as mentioned above for the 32 bit MAC client. I’m hoping that you guys can fix it soon.
