If you exclude the “reward” system they put in, this season had a lot of competition, yes some servers won by default, yes some servers were doomed. but the rest of the servers had equal chance to fight for their place in the leaderboards. We at silver league saw great fights against many servers and most of them we fought hard for our place.
Think of the fights you’ve had this season and tell me if it compares to the first season

Personally I have massive respect to most of the guilds in FSP and Gandara, and I know for sure that these guilds wouldn’t take advantage of these idiots hacking. (Never seen them taking advantage of it when they were facing us anyway).
But can someone explain to me why FSP are so frustrated and are going crazy to get 2nd place this week since you are GUARANTEED 2nd place (either with League points only, or with Glicko leaderboards)

I also don’t understand this frustration from FSP side lol. Even if they go Third this match up, they get 2nd place reward (Even with the overall rankings they get 2nd position). There is no way for Gunnars to beat Gandara to steal ur spot. lol

After seeing a few 6-8 months old threads about some updates to the WvW that were supposed to be “soon” or “working on it”, I’m really starting to wonder if the WvW Developer team is much smaller than we think it is. (I do not know if we can have this information)
My question is to the developers. How many people are actually working on WvW updates? How many people are working on LS updates?
What are the realistic targets of the WvW team? What is the timeframe of these updates?
I think we have reached a point where you replying to threads “we are working on it” is definitely not enough. If you are scared about giving us a time frame because some people will rage if you don’t reach that, then at least give us a window.

There are major updates that we as Customers, we as a Community have been expecting since launch.

Where are the Commander abilities?
Where are the scaled Achievements?
Where is the Solution to the coverage problems?
Solutions to blobbing? If not solution to blobbing..Solutions to not lag out every time you meet a blob that you have to autoattack only.
Anti-hacking moderators?
Guild Alliances or more Guild to guild functions
Not even going to go into new maps that actually matter…
I’m sure I’m forgetting some stuff but you understand what I mean.

Please just tell us when we should be expecting these updates? Or if you are not working on them just tell us so we are not posting every 2-3 threads about the same thing.

Will be awesome fights against Gandara, Piken and FSP. I honestly don’t know who will win this.

mPascoal, as much as I like your passion for your server, I think you are not aiming your passion at the correct server.

I was a part of Underworld for 10 Months, before we, as GRTS, decided to leave (after most of the WvW guilds have left). The reason we left was the LACK of Community, there were times we would go in WvW and no other guild was raiding on any map.
I remember going to the community forums only because there was some drama thread and people talking crp about eachother.

Last time I checked those forums was end of this December, and it was still as dead as 6 months ago. So where is this community you are talking about? (Unless you moved site since then… lol)
You have no idea what a community is unless you transfer out of UW.

I also agree with Ezekiel (first commander I followed lol), if you are going to post something like this, post it in World recruitment, with what exactly you have to offer, no bullshxt. Because the moment guilds transfer in, and see what kind of server it is, and it not what you advertised, that’s when things get nasty.
I have respect for Fenwick as he was the only real person trying to create a community, but it didn’t work because a lot of people/guilds just don’t like him, and simply do not want to be a part of what he has (tried) to create. Also Fenwick we have every right to post here as ex-UW people, cause everyone needs to know both sides of the coin, not just the “nice” stuff…

(also off topic : Lol at the comment about GH being PPT server)

Devon every time I read your responses it makes me believe that it is you plus 1-2 people working on WvW.
I think before we can begin saying what we want. I think we need to understand what your team is capable of. If you are saying an overlay and a raid system is a major project, what does that mean? What is considered a minor project for you? Shouldn’t a company and a game with millions of players, millions of money coming from gems etc, be able to do a major project in 2-3 months? It is not like this is an indie game…

When another group of the company is producing every 3-4 weeks a new MAJOR update, why can’t they skip one month and help you guys do what is needed, and what is needed is a major boost in WvW systems/UI.

All I hear from you is “this is a major project, it could take a very long time”, this makes me feel like I’m being pressured into your “short-term update” like it was mentioned earlier.

Can you please explain what major and minor projects mean for you/ for us/ timewise?
i.e
Color badges = minor , maybe 2 months
Lieutenant = major, maybe 6months.
etc
(hope I’m on topic, and sorry if someone mentioned this before, since I haven’t read all of the thread)

GRTS had some great fights in FSP borders and UW borderlands tonight.
nice fights HT, WBC, INC, FRS, SOUL and CROW i think it was if I missed some, respect to you too

As far as the internal stuff is going. Note the name of the thread “proposal”, it was not a final decision. Shade is blowing this whole thing up. AA is still fighting(we even coordinated today), Mayhem pugs still around, well haven’t seen any WAR but I never saw them before anyway…

The problem with pugs and what WXP farming/keep flipping has brought is that noone comes on WvW when we are losing. And we have been losing past few weeks alot :P
We might have beaten FSP 2 weeks ago, but it’s different now they have more awesome guilds

Sadly we got only 5-6 guilds in UW that can field 15-20 men atm. And I cannot lie, I feel jealous of your servers you have such great guilds. Also I’m a big fan of guild coordination, I’ll be the last to say “oh ur noobs for killing us together” simply, we should have watched our backs :P
We might coordinate with some more guilds during the week to reach your guild’s numbers (speaking from GRTS view anyway). I propose you fight Dex and XxX in equal numbers as they will give you great fights.
Other than that, I feel unless we get 1-2 more guilds, we cannot compete in silver league and that is very sad =/

Some great fights in FSP borders GRTS had 15 people so we teamed with SLAY which had another 15, just so we can compete with ur numbers ( still had outmanned buff lol)
honestly massive respect to guilds like PunK, FURY, Kale, TEO, WBC and more :P
Dont know whats wrong with HT attitude here. They didnt used to be like that last time we fought lol…

I enjoyed this week aswell GRTS has had some great fights against the awesome guilds PunK and Kale. And been awesome trying to coordinate with DEX to try to match you.

Thanks for the wipes, the lootbags and all the fights, hopefully we see you in silver league.

Personally I don’t mind when guilds go together to cap a big keep or something. Sadly capping keeps with 10 minimum smart defenders with supplies, needs a zerg. Otherwise you go with 15-25 people and you fight 10 arrowcarts. (Arrowcarts always win) lol

We do try to improve, that’s why we have tried our luck against Rage NNF when they were running alone, even if it did get us quite a few wipes.
Sadly we are no WvW guild, we don’t even have trainings yet
As I said in couple of months I think we will be ready to be able to fight you and properly give you a fight.

Also to Noixed, yesterday all we did was run into you for slaughter even though we were 14 lol so you can’t say we run.

Noixed you are wrong, we respect our fights. But when you come on forums afterwards pretending to be angels and open field fight specialists when you have 4-5 WvW guilds of 15-25 people which 3 stick together and you are fighting against 3 WvW guilds of 10-15, is ridiculous.

Also to Core:
→at that point I had closed tag off.
→You weren’t 10 +some roamers you were around 25 all together.
→ You didn’t wipe us once.
→ Was awesome fight and great respect for your guild.

Blah blah blah, all I saw today was Rage, Teo, HT, Fury holding hands in our BL.
You run as seperate guilds(50meters of eachother) gj. Does that make Teo, HT Fury’s pets? just askin?
Hope you had fun taking only 2 towers with your 70 people on map with 30 defending.

What you don’t seem to understand is that we have no guild in UW able to fight against 25 Rage or 25 Fury. We have several 10-15-20 man guilds.
With the organization that Rage and Fury have(meleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssss everwheeeeeeeere), you cant expect us who pull with all our might 15 people, and that could mean 10 engineers 2 guardians etc :P, to give you a great fight.

I’m fairly sure Acotje’s opinion doesn’t mirror whole Fury’s opinion. Because they have been fighting UW on primetime and wiping quite a few times too

Had some awesome fights with [MM] in EB and some nice fights with [Lion] for a bit in RoF bl.

This match up has been very weird. All the morning caps put every pug in UW off( also the score, you know how it is, when we are winning, all borders full, when we are losing, all borders empty lol). Then you got the new farm patch, which took 80% of what was left of UW forces(including me ($.$).
For sure you deserve to be higher than UW, you do have more coverage and more WvW guilds than us which do a great job keeping up the pressure.
On a personal guild note, summer in Greece doesn’t really allow too much for internet games lol. So we will be more active in September, and I really hope we meet you guys then, and who knows do a bit of GvG aswell

Also a special shout out to PSY from Gunnars, the most annoying 4-6 man group I’ve seen. Whole zerg goes over them and they still survive xD

Awesome fights last night with everyone, we wanted to do an offensive event but decided to stick at home borders to defend.
15 of us in event, had some nice fights against AG zergs and guilds.
Got squashed by 25-35 PunK in quarry, which made us all laugh, since you passed by us first, TS died at that exact point, on /g they were saying “oh look they decided not to kill us since we are alot less”, then BOOM you went round and were sitting ducks xD we were too naive! x)

Really wish we get a match like this again in September when we start becoming very active again

Talking about slagging off guilds. If you don’t know our name then don’t kittening mention us, Robert.
And I agree on some points with Archi.
Mayhem and AA use their numbers and their “Organized WvW” to attract potential pure WvWers which should be going to GuM or SWD, and being trained properly.
Having teamspeak and leading 30 people doesn’t make you an organized WvW guild.

Liquid that was the first time u popped it open man, the other times we didnt have enough supplies to repair gates/and make arrows. I do have to admit if I did have supplies I would put more AC though :O

No, wasnt talking about that Sceinna. We were fighting inside RoS Bay today for hours. 15 GRTS+15-20 pugs. vs Riot + pugs. and we wiped you guys so many times(and you wiped us too, we even lost it in the end), (no 25 arrowcarts either) we had 1-2 but they were usually instantly down after you came inside lords room
and NO it wasn’t 60, highest stack was 35.
and NO I’m not SPGR.

I do have to say though, amazing fights both ways, and I need to start commanding pugs again on TS to be able to handle YcY…
I can’t do it with 15 organized Greek Titans + 20 pugs.
Seriously respect for YcY+ DEX pincer attacks, great coordination from 2 great guilds
But dissappointed to see Riot+DEX blobbing together since I know both can hold on their own

Great fights against [Kale] [GoT] and [FSV] at our borders tonight. Very impressed by your coverage all day. Very dissappointed about Underworld’s coverage all day too.
Kale guild is one of the most difficult to kill guilds we, as SPGR, have met, so kudos to you.
I don’t really care about all the forum wars.
Generally from last time we met FSP you have improved greatly, I never saw organized guilds except maybe [AoA] I think it was back then(that marathon of 2 months against you guys xD) but now you are full of them. Great Job and wish you well on your next matches

Hello from SPGR, finally I get to see RG in flesh and bone! Hopefully you won’t get bored of us this week, today we only had 15 and you had alot more(just out of curiosity Sacrx, how many did you have? and how many non guildies?).
This week will be all about field fights I hope and not 25 arrowcarts each gate lol

Should be a fun week! Haven’t fought RoF in ages.
