Well, this is interesting. I was just now able to create a NEW support account, with the same email address that I used to register my original support account.
So, you idiots didn’t disable it, you DELETED it. You rock so much harder than I thought….
See? Days and no response from support. They just really don’t care. I guess I shouldn’t expect any less with no monthly fee. Then again, I’d buy gems if I could, so either way, they lose money and look like jerks.

This is actually kind of typical around here, as far as I can tell. I mean, hell, after opening a ticket, they disabled my support account. So, y’know, why should I expect anything different on the forums?
I have not received a single email from ArenaNet since verifying my account when I installed the game. It is a Gmail account, and the messages are not in my spam folder. Nothing about this entire process has worked for me so far. One failure after another.
I would love to provide that number, but as I stated in my OP, my Support Account appears to be disabled. As such, I am unable to login to the support site, and thus, I cannot fetch the ticket number…
Not sure what the average response time is around this forum. Anybody know how long I should wait before simply giving up entirely?
So I opened a Support Account the other day, so that I could open a ticket, regarding the fact that I cannot purchase anything from ArenaNet with my CC or my PayPal (Gems, copies of Guild Wars 2, etc, all declined).
So I opened the ticket, it sat open for a couple of days, I received a response asking for more info, I replied, and now… My Support Account has been disabled (apparently). I am unable to login, and when I request my username be emailed to me, the email never arrives. The site states that, if it never arrives, my account may be disabled, and to contact support.
How amusing, that they want me to contact support about my disabled support account! Aside from posting here, I’m not sure what else to do.
Why would my support account be disabled?? This is insanity…
Can’t buy any gems. Just gives me a generic “Our system sucks and we hate you” error. Also cannot buy additional copies of the game, gives the same error. This happens regardless of the payment type I use (PayPal or CC). I bought gems earlier this week without a problem, but now, nothing. What gives???
