Guild Wars 2

Thanks for the response, but, i opened a ticket (i’m not a patient guy :P), followed the instructions the tech support gave me and they found out that i had Speedbit Video Accelerator installed, which interfered with Guild Wars 2.
Uninstalled the progam and… problem solved

Can i get any help? I’m unable to login since a week now :<

As the title says, i am having this problem during the login since 3 days.
Firewall is disabled, no other anti-viruses are on/installed.

-Human Male Necromancer
- Light Armageddon Leggings loose the dye to a strange white/red/grey coloration, looks like it’s the model of the leggings. If i recall correctly this also happened with the light armor: Ogden’s Boots. The bug doesn’t appear immediately so at first it might look like they work properly, but after a few minutes (probably a combination of actions triggers this visual bug?) it occurs.
-Edit 1: I found out that it might be related with going in and out of water.

-Set (strarting from head to boots): Ogden’s Mask of the Undead transmuted with stats of light armageddon. The rest is all Light Armageddon of the Undead.
- I acquired the mask on the trading post, the Light Armageddon is from Altar of Baltazhar’s Karma Vendor.

I uninstalled Speedbit Video Accelerator and after rebooting the computer, guild wars 2 was back to work again… whatever.

Still not working after 5 hours! Can i have any help?? Is it a problem with my italian ISP fastweb again (so maybe the problem is shared by others??) or maybe it’s just my computer unable to startup?

When i open gw2 instead of the normal login screen i get this message. Yesterday it was all ok but this morning i just can’t login. Is it due to maintenance or is it just me? I never had similar problems…

No mail received yet. I’m on Whiteside Ridge.

Yeah like a gigantic monolith with the names of everyone that has fallen. Like million names listed ^^, and then a smaller monolith for the ones who lost their… connection! ._.

Buy anyway, the loot must be equal, with the same change of looting the same exact number of items of course. We took part of the whole event, why should we get reduced loot?

No i don’t think i’m the only one, that’s was the intention of the topic. To remeber Arena Net that it was not few having problems, but many… and the whole purpose of this topic is not saying “Hey i want my chest, NOW”, i’d like Arena Net to become more and more user friendly, by letting us know with some news now and then, at what point of solving the problem they are.
I know that they told us on facebook and other social networks, that they were working on this problem… but then it sunk into oblivion. I think i’m not the only one who’d appreciate ANY news, because it means that they care.

I received an email from support yesterday saying they will give rewards next week. Here was the reply:
Hello.
Thanks again for your patience while we looked into your issue with the Lost Shores event. We have confirmed that we can provide everyone who did not have the opportunity to loot the chest with a reward for their participation. All affected players will receive a reward regardless of whether or not they have contacted Support. We’re working very hard on this, and you should have a reward in your in-game mail early next week.

I’ve read that, but it’s a one-person only response to a ticket. One has to make a support ticket for it (and personally i don’t think that making a ticket is the most proper way, since it will increase the burden of work Arena Net has to do).
I think that a news on the forum or even just a reply on the topics would be enough.

With this topic i just wanted to remember Anet, that they promised news about the refund on the chest, for people who spent over 2 hours in the event, to have it ruined just a step before it ended for many different bugs (Disconnecting, stuck at loading, texture bugs at the lava pools etc…).

It was really frustrating.

I don’t know if you guys forgot about it, because i didn’t, but recently i asked about it on Facebook, and i found my own comment deleted… i just hope you are not doing the same things politicians do in Italy, trying to shelve their mistakes!

Looking forward for any news.

Soooo… is it possible to stomp/res now or still unable? It’s really bad that one cannot do it, like you are stomping someone and missclick death shroud… you miss a chance to finish some1.

I really love this game, i do.
But one thing i really don’t understand is why there is no Character specific Keybinding.
Everytime i swap between my character i have to change keybinding.
I suggest that in the keybindings’ section of the option panel there is a way to link the keybinds to a character.
So that everytime i log in to the game with a different character, it automatically sets the keys to this character only. And then when i go back to an Alt, i don’t have to enter the keybinds panel, search for the command to assign, bind it then go play.. the first time i was fine with it, but then it got boring and frustrating.

IF there is a solution to this i’d like to know, otherwise ANet please hear my voice!

This is my frustrating experience:

I logged in at 21:05, the event had just started and me and my friend wanted to do it together but we found in two different overflows, when trying to join his overflow i always had immense lag and had to relog. In the end i decided that i’d just play alone on the first accessible/lag free server and eventually found an overflow with no lag.
Did the whole event BUT at the final battle i used my necromancer elite skill Lich Form while standing on the rock with the lava under and somehow felt and died (my friend was in Teamspeak talking to me and he said that the rocks would fall in the last cinematic but i had to discover it this way).

But ok even if i felt, i had the waypoint close to the Karka Hive so i decided to just come back since the Ancient Karka’s Hp were still at 80%.
Aaaaaaaand i waited, and waited, but the loading screen after 2 minutes was still there so i had to go on control panel and shut gw2.exe
And then i couldn’t log back in for the next 15 minutes until 23:30-23:40 circa when the event was over and no more loot.

This event has been really frustrating, my friend who has done the whole event with me (altough on a different overflow) was rewarded with gear and everything. While i had to deal with a texture bug and connection issues that blocked me from being rewarded aswell!

I felt into the lava during the last boss-fight due to texture bug(because i used the necromancer elite skill), when there still was the ground, stuck at waypoint loading, disconnected, couldn’t reconnect… lost all the loot.

Hello everybody, i’m here to report a visual/graphic bug. I’m not sure if it’s just me or everyone else is experiencing this tbw: when using different types of armor (Chest and Legs) it happens that the waistline will be sometimes missing, having your Character to be “split” in 2 parts.

I know it’s a minor bug, but, it’s weird to see and it also blocks me from experiencing more combinations of armors because it’s REALLY creepy to see… i don’t know if you ever played League of Legends but it’s like playing Orianna, with the upper body floating ….^^

Me as many other Italian players with Fastweb as internet provider are experiencing lag in game, making it impossible to play, sometimes not even being able to login at all. This is going on since yesterday. I’m playing on Whitesideridge btw.

I do, i cannot do spvp due to the insane lag. There’s a delay of 20s… :S Really frustrating.

So far, all skill point challenges that require you defeat a NPC are bugged, especially when the said NPC is already in the game world and not spawned by activating a device, portal, etc.

This has been the case since the last patch went live, and while it was a minor hindrance at first, it’s now beginning to get really annoying.

Yes especially if you are trying to get world completion, i have been waiting a week, still no fix :\ it’s frustrating.
