I played GW2 when it first came out, played for a year, then set it down. I came back recently and started playing again.

I’ve just noticed that I have a buttload more character slots! Have accounts been getting them for each year of existence? Each time a new expansion or event comes out? Or is it some freakish anomaly, and now the GW2 account monitors are going to take them away?

Any enlightenment?

I’ve tried uninstalling old games, disabling the Firewall, and still nothing works.

I’m going to try pulling all my hair out, now.

Well, I just purchased Heart of Thorns, and the same thing happened to me. I’ve removed nearly every ther game, and nothin’.

I’m close to asking for a refund.

I just got a new computer, installed GW2, and have been playing it the past couple days, when tonight I just got the error “Client cannot connect to login server.”

I’ve disabled the Firewall, uninstalled three other games, and finally got the thing to start up, only to have it crash 30 second into the loading screen.

It’s been working fine up until just now.

Arrrrgh!
