In the next build we’ll be implementing exits that allow you to turn around and leave through the portals behind you. Hopefully that will help.

I’d recommend alongside the exit that invulnerability also be enabled while on the platform pad. It’d certainly help against players camping the spawn points, which is something to certainly discourage.

What happened to SoS? Last time I remember they were winning(or at least fighting strong in) tier 1.

I don’t mean to bring drama, I’m honestly curious as to what happened. We just had a new born(two weeks early) two months ago so I’ve really been out of the whole WvW scene.

I don’t remember how long ago Anet opened free transfers to medium servers, was that what happened?

It happened after free transfers ended, I believe, due to bandwagoners abandoning the server. SBI was also abandoned in the same way.

Can you take a look at your KoME (has weird ascii characters too) guild from CD?

There were multiple instances the past few hours where a dead mesmer from said guild would get rezzed through the gate and port people in to cap towers without siege.

Overall I find CD to be very good fighters and don’t abuse stuff like this. I would not wish for you guys to have your good reputation tarnished by such a minority of your server.

I’m actually from CD, and unfortunately KoME has a history of leaving dead Mesmers in front of the inner side of gates to portal exploit. It’s also something they’ve defended in the past as “a clever use of game mechanics”. Sadly…apart from this, I’ve always considered KoME a very respectable and friendly guild and dislike that they’re tarnishing their reputation like this.

I report when I can, though I doubt it’s a suspendable offense. Though, probably hypocritical from me since I have a thing for chain-contesting keeps with a single cluster bomb.

I love SoS already! Yesterday I kept contesting their keep for a couple hours, running away whenever someone was trying to kill me, eventually a group of SoS’s party me and they say “Please stop running away, I just want to hug you and my little legs are getting tired.” I couldn’t help it and loled for a while.

Ohoho. I was doing the same to SBI on my Thief in EBG last night, for hours and hours while I was chased endlessly. Clearly a newfound way of trolling.
