Bumping topic so that ppl will see that we are still recruiting.
Werewolves is a PVE only guild with 90+ members. We are looking for like minded individuals that love PVE and want to learn dungeons or run them more with a group they can trust. We do boss events and guild missions as well and will soon have Guild Challenges unlocked.
Our only rule is no drama because it causes issues for everyone. Otherwise you are free to come and go as you please.
We have a ventrilo server and do our guild missions Sunday nights at 8pm server time normally. If you missed out on the nights events we will do catchups throughout the week to get you your commendations.

I’m raging alright, but I’m not raging at the changes. I’m raging at the other ranger players. True I find the pet nerf a little saddening but the shortbow nerf is just fine with me. I mean think about it, LB has1.2k range 1.5k if traited. Doesn’t that same thing count for SB? The LB buff is amazing and the shout changes to. For the first time ever I hit a 8k crit with rapid fire thanks to the LB changes and BM builds did that to with pets. So really buff or nerf I count this update as a win for rangers.
Thanks for the quick response. Makes little sense why they would disband a key team to the game. Still its saddening.
Normally I’m not one to whine on these forums but I’m really starting to wonder. Why yet once again in a new release we’re getting yet ANOTHER one time only dungeon? When are we actually gonna get a NEW permanent dungeon! I can all the current ones over and over with no problem, but even I can get burnt out. Anet why can we not have a permanent new dungeon?
What is everyones thoughts on this?

Just to say it would probably help all guild leaders if you said what server you’re on.
Honestly guys why are we debating this. We are all older or younger gamers alike. But we are all gamers none-the-less. So Anet puts this fun dungeon in and its a throwback to the beginning of our roots is that so bad? We’ve been through almost 9 generations of gaming guys. Countless wars btwn developers and gamers alike. Certainly we can enjoy some Nostalgia for the bygone eras. Is that so wrong?
Don’t know if this counts cause it’s guild runs but we’ve had some crazy moments just like this.
Arah on Lupicus everyone goes down but our guild warrior, he uses the greatsword spin skill and the charge to dodge from lupi in phase 2 btwn myself and another guildie. Gets me up, and I run to another player and start rezzing. Warrior runs to the other player and gets him up so we both rez ppl and end up killing Lupicus.
SE path 1 on Knocc, everyone but me goes down with Knocc having like 3% left. I dodge like crazy and kill him then rez everyone.
Again don’t know if those count as carrying but you never know.

Guild was running story modes again last night. (We all can not stand Logan.)
Enter CM
I say: “Hey guys look at Jennah she doesn’t wear shoes.”
Guild laughs.
Guild clown pipes up: " It’s cause her dog is always licking them."
I say: “Jennahs only dog is Logan.”
Commence massive guild rofl.
In TA we get to the spider point and kill it. Logan makes his we don’t need Rytlock quip and Caithe calls him out on it so he leaves.
Guild clown 2: “rage quit”
We all start laughing.
What linchpin said in his first line as well but hey we are a subject of being curious so here goes.
1) Again like others have said. Friends are a valid reason but to go along with how you set this up i’ll say my own thing. I came to this game originally cause a friend in another mmo was going on about it. I planned to start my own guild at this point cause the first game i tried to lead in turned out horribly. So reason i’ve stayed on my server BP is cause I have built a great guild of people who get along with everything they do in game and most of all have fun doing it .
2) I have dabbled in wvw before so doesn’t take much to get me in, but because of duties as a Dungeon running guild leader I do not ever have time.
3) I know there are buffs but I don’t pay attention to them so yah null factor.
4) RepIr bill is a non- issue
5) Never wanted a Legendary so next question.
6) A 5th of my guild is active in wvw they play the game how they want and I do the same. So my joining or not joining is not really a issue least imo.
Here’s a idea for you guys. Why not see if Anet could make it so that the pvp monthly gives laurels to. Would save everyone from these threads to begin with. Just saying.
I don’t get why ppl are going off the handle on this. I mean sure I can be counted as one of the ppl who didn’t really care about getting the original daily done before January hit but once it did and we got the tracker I was like heck yah lets do this. Once I learned the simplest spots I got them done in less than an hour. Then I heard about them becoming a list to choose from and was waiting to see how that played out and I have to say that it’s just as good as January if not better. Going from someone who never cared about the daily to loving them I can say Anet did a great job. As for the rest of you I say Oivay!
As the name states we are a PvE and Dungeon running guild. Mostly a small tight knit group of players but we do still have to PUG from time to time. We are looking to get more ppl to run dungeon with. We run every dungeon and can get most of the path dones with few hiccups. We have a Ventrilo server as well and 10% Magic Find is going all the time. If your interested in a small group of players who just like to enjoy the game and get along with each other feel free to whisper me in-game. Think of this what you will guys but, whenever my guild runs it we always range Alpha in each fight and actually kill him quite easily. Sure it means we dodge more but we have a ton of fun doing it. Plus if anyone gets downed we use the body agro trick while the others rez the person. Half the time on my ranger i’m jumping around with agro while the others get the downed up. It’s quite fun.
Edit: Forgot to say that the others have the dodge down so it may still take some time but we get the downed up fairly quick.

I geuss the saying holds true that can’t please everyone. But really guys we all know exploits we’re being used as well as rez rushing and that was the norm before this patch. Anet saw this and took a stand to fix it as well as change the encounters to go along with the new rez method. Now it is true pugs will have issues now but all it takes is learning the dungeons. Can’t say this will work for everyone but why not look to making static groups to get through these now, or even guild runs. My guild and I were dreading the rez thing but now that its day 3 we see no problems. Dungeons have been made more challenging and we like that. We know how each other plays and look out for each other in the dungeons. Which is something a simple pug has trouble with. Sure we still die but for the most we destroy dungeons just like we always have and legitley to. So really guys its all about learning to do the dungeons.
My guild is a small one . Not even 40 members, only around 35. But usually about half the ppl I have are on at any given time. I’m a advocate for the small guild perspective it, imo, fosters a greater sense of friendship with ppl. Not that I don’t still get recruits but it’s through a getting to know the person method. As such I usually manage 1 or 2 new members a month.
We don’t really focus on things like WvW or PvP, but we are working on being expert dungeoneers (spelling). Just about everyone represents as well but I dont make it a priority. They come and go as they please really. As for alliances and such I am friends with another guild so we enjoy playing with each other but thats about it. Geuss i should should say what server we’re on, it’s Borlis Pass. We also have a vent server.
All three of those names are nice. Give the first a 8/10, second a 9/10, and third a 9/10.

Just want to also bring up in Arah, path 1 the waypoint at shogroth doesnt always appear. As well if the NPC gets hit by any fire on the final boss the door to the observatory will not open.
