Thank you both for the help so with an i5 and a 1050ti ill be golden.

I’m not sure if this is the right sub forum for this but I figured it was as good as any to ask. I have been wanting to build a PC for a while now to better run GW2 as it is far and away my main game. I want to spend around 500-600 dollars and would ideally be running high settings around 60 fps. Does anyone know what parts I should focus on or what parts have been good in their experience? I tried Reddit and it wasn’t too helpful.

Well… It’s actually not that bad at all, as you could dps in axe and/or sword decently effectively for an extended period of time, it’s just not optimal. But that’s just the thing, nothing else has room to be optimal When one this is OP.

The main reason I either want everyone to have it, no one, or leave it as a Discipline trait is much more than the swap value, but it completely changes the value and power of sigils for warrior.

Your argument doesn’t make any sense to me:

1. Can you provide a viable build that doesn’t trait FH? One that keeps pace with non warriors, can win fights, etc?
2. All warriors already run FH, so making it baseline changes nothing with respect to warriors and sigils
3. No one has denied that FH is a powerful trait, but if all warriors run it and warriors aren’t OP now, then what’s the issue?

There’s Torch too, and personally I think that’s what we’ll be getting because pistol and dagger are too subtle as weapons and foci and scepter are magic. A big torch would fit nicely though.

True, had forgotten about torch. I can’t think of a character concept to work with it though. I still think pistol is more likely because it could give us 5 new weapon skills whereas torch would only give us two. So far, all elite specializations have brought five weapon skills to their respective classes.

Ultimately, I don’t think it’ll matter. I’m not sure if I’m in the minority or not, but I’ve been impressed with ANet’s moves with all of this so far.

Im really not going for some huge monster rig. I just want something that will play the game well at good settings.

I play both. Neither is better than the other it comes down to personal preference. I prefer Warrior because I like the larger HP pool but they are equal on almost every front.

I do them when I see them up because I find them fun.

Hey I am looking to build a PC for Guild Wars. What parts would you recommend. I don’t play many games other then Guild Wars so I want it optimized for Guild Wars. This will be on a budget. I was looking in the Gem Store the other day and was looking at the Banker golem. Is it similar to the on you get with digital deluxe edition. Where you get it bound to the account and when you make a new toon you get it in the mail or do you have to go to the bank to grab it?

Hello I am looking for an Arah training guild to train me on paths 1,2, and 3 of Arah. I run a Zerker Warrior. I eventually would like to be able to solo or speed clear the dungeon.
