1) Most players are zerging instead of rescuing the people. Is there a way to avoid that?

The NPC “Urmaug” is supposed to be near the Durmand Priory. That NPC sells the
“Recipe: Sharpening Stone Station”, but actually he does not, although the wiki says so:
