Guild Wars 2

Greetings and salutations, if you can read English then i presume you know what i want and if you are reading this you actually clicked my post, so thank you i guess So, i’m a 22 year old MMORPG nerd who refuse to give up on my dream of one day being the very best around cous my mum once said i could be anything, when i was 21.

So who am i except from that? Well, i’m a student, nurse student to be precise, and of course i’m a dude, duuh, i’m studying to be a nurse. I’ve played MMORPGs for as long as i can remember (not really, but there seems to be a thing when you’ve devoted your whole life to it). My first one was Everquest, i bought it without knowing what the kitten it was, so my mum only allowed me to play it for a month (since after that the trial was over). After that i found out about Guild Wars, kitten yea!! an MMORPG without a monthly subscription and the trailer looked sick, sign me right up. Though in the end it barely was an MMORPG (i didn’t know it back then so i didnt care) and the game looked nothing like it did in the trailer (nor did i care about that, my best friend at the moment only played Tibia and Runescape so everything looked better then that (though i also played runescape cous i had a thing for offering free trims in lumbridge))

So so, on to some maybe relevant stuff. I’ve played GW2 pretty much since launch, but not during all these five years, taken some time off and then came back, now i’m back again and are planning to stay. For many years i’ve mained an Engineer but recently decided to devote my time on my Necro and are having a blast. My most “serious” interest would be fractals, quiet enjoy them alot and are slowly getting my personal level up, at around 73 or something now i think. But i’m up for anything in this great game pretty much, be it guild missions, farming events or some other random shenanigans. I mostly play in the evenings and sometimes during the day when i have a day off. Oh, and i play on the Gandara server if WvW is of any interest.

So what type of guild am i looking for? First off, i don’t want it to be too big, i hate getting lost in numbers and as a new player its always quiet daunting with being the twohundrerandsecond member of an already established guild. I would not mind at all if you are a newly created guild though you could have been around for awhile as well. I’m looking for a guild filled with easy minded people, who likes to enjoy their time online with bad jokes and even worse gameplay whilst having the time of their life. If bad jokes and a curse word here and there aren’t allowed in the guild, i’m probably no the person for your guild.

Hej Morfh, har egentligen inget med den här guilden att göra men kan lika gärna lägga in en liten notis från mig. Server spelar inte längre någon större roll i Gw2 då alla är sammankopplade på en typ av “megaserver” vilket gör att så länge du är på en Eu server så kan du vara i vilken guild som helst, köra raids/fractals/dungeons och resterande content utan behovet av att vara på samma server. Det ända fallet då det spelar någon roll är när det kommer till WvW, för att spela det gamemode med dina vänner måste ni vara på samma server.

Greetings, i’m here to tell you about a newly founded Scandinavian guild (although we do accept people from other countries as well, you might just not understand everything we say).

So who are we?
We are called Vikings Of Darkness [VOD] and we do not reside on any particular server. My own homeserver is Seafarers Rest whilst the others in command are based on Far Shiverpeaks, but this does not bring any problems since we do not involve ourselves in World versus World regularly.

So what DO we do?
Anything we feel like doing, we’re not a big guild as of right now and many of us recently started playing the game. But we do whatever we feel like, be it just random leveling, jumping puzzles or being completely obliterated in sPvP. Our philosophy is that it does not matter how many times we die to something, no matter how easy it is, as long as we’re having fun. So no matter if you’ve played this game for a week or two years, you can find something to do with us and we’d love to have you.

We do not require of you to represent us 100%, neither do you need to be online every evening. We are really laid back and do not care how good are bad you are, you will always be able to improve no matter how skilled you are.

I recently decided to start a Fractals team within the guild as well, so you are more then welcome to tag along for that as well. No current fractal level is needed and you don’t need to be the best at your class. Just be decent geared and have a will for learning. If everything goes well we will try to expand the team and take on raids in HoT, but first we have to get there.

Most of us plays during the evenings, from about 19.00 until 22.00 and that is when we’re most active, sometimes people leaver earlier sometimes later. Since most of us are from Sweden, that’s the timezone you’ll find us in (except when i decide to go pub crawling and decides to do Citadel of Flame at 3 am).

Hey, i recently decided to get my Guild Wars account back after it had been hacked and i didn’t bother getting it back. But now i recently contacted their support and got my account back, now when i try to link my two accounts i get this error message:

Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

PS: Just another small question which might get answered right away if anyone got the time, if i continue to progress further then i already have in the Hall of monuments, will i gain more rewards or is it only as far as i’ve gotten before i linked the accounts.
