I have to add, now that we did some story: We love the library and the study room;
Glint’s Lair is the best (but don’t want to spoil it)!
And thank you for making an outfit available via content!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for that hilarious talking Replica Job-O-Tron Backpack.
I especially love that, as a mesmer, all the clones will have the side comments as well.
Also thank you for the amazing new music! Really did a great job on it.
So I guess I wasn’t the only one. Please notice us, Anet Senpai!
Not just the checkbox either, the mini completely removes itself from my mini slot leaving it empty.
That’s exactly what happens on mine. On finisher it will just go back to base finisher.
I’ve created a new character after the patch and selected a finisher and a mini for him.
I’ve had to reselect those every time i log in (and yes, the checkmark was always on).
With my “old” characters (previously created to patch) this did not happen.
Once the finisher and mini was selected, it kept reloading and stayed selected, even after reentering the game.
Anyone else having this issue?
I play my mesmer mostly because it is shiny and has butterfly clone explosions.
Leggins are also Trickster.
How about more rewards when you live, not punishment when you die.
Why do you need to pay silver to feel bad for dying?
I haven’t changed my playstyle since then. Waypointing still costs silver and in instanced areas you don’t wanna be the person that gets carried (and maybe your group doesn’t want you to be, either).
It’s good that they want to give you the opportunity to take risks – now all we need is new content x)
- vigil top
- incarnet shoulders, pants
- t3 shoes, headgear
- embroidered wristguards
back & weaps: fractal skins
Best looking outfit – I like it even better than all armor skins so far. Hopefully coming for Dragon Bash and in Gem Store and not some RNG. x3
Sometimes I get teleportet out again right when entering a gauntlet fight.
It isn’t a quick lose or win, it’s litterly porting me in and out in a second.
(With nothing happening, except I lose my “queued” buff)
I wouldn’t mind having to wait my turn again but it is bothersome since tickets need to be farmed.
Anyone else encountering this problem?
You need to talk to a Black Lion Armorsmith, not Weapon Specialist. They are located around the same area. They will unlock all your town clothing (gotta do this for every character you have that is wearing town clothing).
I was looking for him in gendarran fields and for some reason they only have the weapon smith there. In any other major cities they have both. Thanks a lot! =)
At least you guys have your town cloths. My witch outfit, horns, toys etc. all still remain hidden on my toons – I know from the hats for sure, because when hovering over my quaggan hat, that is in my inventory, I can see them as “currently equipped”.
I can, however, not equip the quaggan hat. Rightclicking it only gives me the option to destroy it & it is not a selectable skin in my wardrobe. My outfit isn’nt in the bank or any other wardrobe, either (any towncloth, really). The Black Lion Weapon Specialist doesn’t have any options for me, other than ticket skins, the link to the BLK and smalltalk. x3
126: Option to use “preferred” reviving:
1. Downed players
2. Dead players
3. Npcs

Don’t get me wrong, I really love what ANet has done with this game, there is so many things they did an amazing job with, in comparison to other MMOs.
Yet I don’t see why they would implement things like that – other than to sell bag and bank spaces, which is a cynical way to look at it.
As stated by me above, I appreciate them changing the system.
But not just applying luck to the account but giving you tons and tons of bag items..
Feels almost as silly as changing gold to money essences that you have to click away.. would that be okay, if you could reduce the pile with, let’s say, jewelcrafting.. ?
Money changed from being single character to account money, as well.
After doing a daily run of Scale 26, 36, and 46 Fractals I commonly end up with multiple stacks of luck numbering in the hundreds. This has nothing to do with ‘saving’ them, just the result of salvaging all of the junk recieved.
Actually, the practice of having to shift all of the luck to your shared bank, then hop over to your artificer character, then reduce the luck piles all down to manageable levels, then activate all of those reduced units is not what would generally be called a ‘game system’. It would be called a ‘work around’. Because Luck as implemented has turned out to be something of a PITA for players, forcing them into unnecessary work arounds. This deserves to be revisited.
“.. forcing them into unnecessary work arounds. This deserves to be revisited.”, yes, pretty much what I was thinking.
It’s not that people didn’t find or get a way to deal with it, but the problem is unnecessary.

Exactly. Same for karma, but the luck essences pile up a lot faster in your inventory. With all the clicking it feels like an in-bag-farmville after every dungeon etc.
Hello everyone,
I am not sure if this is the appropriate thread of if this topic has been adressed before.
I might even miss something here, but it seems like the sole purpose of having Essences of Luck drop into your inventory is the possibility to combine them with the artificing profession, which is not really a reason.
- Essences of Luck are account bound.
- They count for every character.
I like that luck is now account bound other than having to equip it like we had to at some point, that was a nice change.
But this clicking makes me wanna vendor sell all over again.
Thank god, I thought I was the only one actually enjoying the update.
I had a lot of fun exploring the labyrinth with Scarlets almost cartoony, silly (I love her voice-actress) side comments.
That being said I usually do not take game stories too seriously (they tend to do the same cheesy stuff over and over),
but it was entertaining, had some funny spooky, post-halloween feel to it!
And no, I would probably not spend another 3 month in it, even if i could, but honestly, its a free two weeks content, give it a break, people.
People will always complain, which is good, because it will ultimately improve things. That doesn’t mean that some people don’t enjoy what’s there.
They try to do different approaches on updates and some work better for some than others.
So far my favourites are:
- Super Adventure Box (Both updates)
- Bazaar of the Four Winds
- Queens Gauntlet
Those I would love to keep forever ingame, but that’s just my opinion
