I swear I tried that already before…Imma give it a try again
EDIT: Yep, what you said does not work. http://prntscr.com/jtnqk
Tried it with some low-level karma gear so I wasn’t wasting my karma and found this message. On top of that the item soulbound to my necromancer cannot be transmuted by my guardian. Which brings me back to my original point: karma needs to be account wide.

Buy armor, put it in the bank, log on with other toon, pick up armor. Equip.
Because that’s viable for Soulbound-on-Acquire gear.
You know what else is? Fine Transumtation Stones. They aren’t expensive…
How does that help? I can’t buy the armor on my necromancer transmute it and then give it to my guardian. It’ll still be soulbound to my necromancer
I feel like a lot of players could benefit from making karma account wide and not character-specific. For example, I have 150k karma saved up on my necromancer, but I found that I have no use for that karma on that character. However, on my guardian, I only have about 30k karma and I really need some to buy the exotic karma armor at temples. I feel like since I already did all the work for all that karma, I should be able to use it between characters. Perhaps make a deposit/withdraw karma spot in the bank or just automatically consolidate all the karma across all characters?
In the screenshot it should be “This effect cannot trigger more THAN once.” Instead of “This effect cannot trigger more THEN once.”
Just a very trivial thing

Norn Necromancer Level 80
It’s not. It’s Leather/Seer/Pit Fighter skins.
Ah, thanks. That’s disappointing, I would have thought it would have been all sweet looking and whatnot
More specifically the crown. I’m looking for a new helm and I was wondering if the Mad King’s Crown (light armor version) is a unique skin or not.
I’m not proposing to change the amount of money being spent on fees from the trading post, just to be clear. I’m just thinking that if we make the buyer pay a sales tax rather than making the poster pay 15%, the poster will enjoy more money in their pocket. Idk maybe I’m wrong I don’t really know how that would effect the economy. I just think it’s unfair that the poster only gets 85% of what they listed the item for while the buyer just has to pay the listed price
Right, I’m not saying to reduce the tax I’m saying shift some of the burden onto the consumer so the seller can enjoy a larger return
Alright so I really think that the 5% listing fee on top of the 10% sales tax on the person listing an item is ridiculous. It makes crafters unable to get good profit margins because we only get 85% of what we list the item for. It sucks not being able to get the full 2g you list an exotic item for. So I what if the consumer was taxed rather than the producer? Keep the 5% listing fee for the producer, but only tax the producer 5% for a sale. Then, shift the other 5% to the consumer as sales tax. Favoring the producer will allow people to make better money for their master-level crafting skills.
minnions are great for like 3 games then you realise there nothing but non responding cannonfodder for anything that looks their way..
I got like tons of games in total and i think i saw one good necromancer who used his pets to its fullest and he only had the bonegolem and the boneminions for the combo effects, anything above that.. and youre really walking on a razorsedge for missing out on a stun breaker.. ok ok the worm is a stunbreaker and what else the shadowfiend.. that one dies in 3 hits and the rustmonster dies even faster, i take well of suffering anyday above those 2 pets.
When I’m in WvW, I only use flesh golem and flesh wurm. The wurm is expecially nice in WvW for that extra damage and quick escapes. Flesh golem just wrecks people with his charge. In dungeons, I forego flesh golem for lich form, but I keep flesh wurm again for the extra damage and for quick escapes. I’m not a huge fan of wells. I like to use blood is power, signet of spite, and consume conditions.
1) Minions are great until they stand there and don’t do anything. Minions are great until you’re in Orr at 80 and fleshgolem’s aggroing everything then stands there and does nothing
2) Precision because when you crit you proc more bleeds, which I believe is the point of condition builds. Power doesn’t do too much
3) You and everyone else. Long list of things to do to improve the poorly implemented minions.
1. I agree that minions still need to be improved…but I believe that they will be. Once they are, I think that minion builds will be more commonly accepted. However, I enjoy them as they are, even if it means I have to kill every undead to get to that orichalcum ore!
2. Yeah I suppose that’s true. I have +10% bleeding duration on my staff, I feel like I would do more damage with my staff auto attacks and that than a chance to proc a bleed on hit. I may be wrong.
But yeah I honestly think that necros are in for some buffs in the future, even if it’s only for minions.
First off I have to say that the necromancer is my favorite class. Period. I’ve tried every other class, but I found that they aren’t as rewarding/fun as necros are. But I didn’t post here to profess my love for necros. I want to address what I think of necros as a whole.
Firstly, minion builds. I’ve seen far more complaints about them than positive posts about them. I think minion builds are great and here’s why: extreme solo-ability, survivability, and consistent dps. Ever since I rounded out my minion collection with the addition of the flesh golem I’ve continued to build trait lines with pro-minion bonuses. As a result, I almost never die. I can kill multiple enemies easily without taking any damage to myself. Multiple veterans? No problem. When I do get in a sricky situation, I can just leave my minions to die while I escape.
Secondly: stats. I’ve found that carrion stats (+power, +condition damage, and +vitality) are the best. Power and condition damage are obvious choices. But I’ve seen people roll with precision on a necro. And I have to ask myself why? Unless you’re going to go with daggers 100% of the time, precision is useless. Vitality much better because necros have multiple abilities that place harmful conditions on themselves. Having all of that extra HP is nice, not to mention you can stay in death shroud longer and survive harder attacks.
Third is more of a suggestion than anything, but I’d like to see ooc hp regen for all minions. I think that minion builds would be much more attractive to people that have disdain for them.
Those are just my thoughts. Currently I’m a level 80 with a full set of carrion exotic armor, staff, and trinkets (minus the amulet, I need to buy it still
)
