Whenever playing turret engi i feel that net shot is vital.
I would really urge you to reconsider rifle.
Probably just lag or some other bug. I am 99% sure it counts as melee damage. Would be really weird design if it registered as ranged.
I have never played the gw1 dragon ball, but i have to say apart from the interupt daily being impossible and only rewarding winning teams. The gamemode itself is really fun to me and i atleast get the extra laural every day.
Anet is choosing drop rate of different items so naturally they have a big influence in supply and therefore the price. This isn’t a new concept for any mmo.
Them making a mistake with a daily doesn’t mean they can’t fix it because that would be interfering in the market, because they interfere in the market anyway.
I misread your post the first time. I was thinking you argued for the introduction of new weapons while you actually tried to get some cool skins.
However my point still stands actually to reinforce your idea that new weapons aren’t the only way we can get more skills and these skins should be in the game already or atleast be introduced with the xpac.
Guns of icarus style combat in the air providing support to ground troops? Sounds awesome but probably a pain to implement.
I hope they do it like that instead of gating content with all masteries that end up in the same place.
I assume that masteries are just a content gater and you will unlock them at roughly the same speed as you progress trough the map. They are shown to be linear and i would presume there were different path’s to the map maxing different masteries first (gliding to jumping to or mastering languages to open up paths?).
I don’t really know how i feel about this content gating, i gues they just want eveyone to participate in events, outposts and advantures to unlock their masteries and progress further into the map. Is this really different then just raising the level cap and make precursor hunting and jungle combat a seperate mechanic?
I would enjoy new skins on these kind of weapons.
As for the rest of your posts, you need to take into account that these weapons on different classes result in an entire new skillset for that weapon (an engineer using hammer won’t play the same as a warrior using hammer) so with 9 specializations we get 45 new skills in total.
Gliding system and Armor set designs etc....

Anet is trying to stay clear of everything you just said. They knew not everyone was going to like it, but for me it is perfect. If you found your cup of thee with Aion be happy about and play those games.
Please, Ready up, speak about specializations

I am not sure specialization concerns PvP. Unless they are available for everyone, it would be unfair to those without the expansion.
How would it be unfair if specializations only give more options and not stronger options? They are meant to be sidegrades, not upgrades.
Arenanet did the same in Guild Wars 1 where in pvp only those with the proper campaigns had access to the skills and professions from those campaigns. I don’t see why GW2 would be any different.
Them being sidegrades doesn’t change the fact that with a constant shifting meta, more options are always supperior to less options. With specializations that can be turned on/off and swapped on the fly this is a problem worth looking into.
They probably won’t however since everyone who is really into pvp is going to buy the xpac anyway.
I haven’t played gw1 so i can’t really comment about that.
I like this very much especially since mithril is always flooded on the market as well as some other ‘higher level’ mats.
As for the skinning part, some animals or animal like creatures already drop skins for us to salvage into leather and stuff. A variety in these skins however has yet to be seen.
They have confirmed both a boxed version and an online version on launch day. I don’t think they have said anything about the gem store but online purchase will be available without a doubt.
You could do the starter zones of the different classes, you will be scaled down but the xp is not bad and its more fun then farming events if you only play pve.
You can acces the starter zones from your races capitol city and taking the asura portal to lion’s arc, from there you can take another asura portal to a starter zone of your likings.
