Since the dailys were redesigned I’ve been able to notice something that may shed some light on this issue.
When the veteran kills objective is up, for quite a number of times, in populated areas (i.e. Cursed Shore), despite delivering some damage to the targets the kill count would not register.
Perhaps everyone is right on their statements. Anet is right about kill giving drop, and players are right about kills not giving drop… The issue could be as simple as a somewhat ineffective kill registering system.
it should be a simple matter for anet to look at their logs and see if the loot was dropped tho and if a player got it i’m sure enough people are soloing champions to make it easy , their reaction is insulting insinuating that people are lying is just wrong and should lose them customers, i have not posted about it, but if i did and they called me a liar regardless if they did it in a roundabout trying to be clever kind of way i would be kitten /p>
well uhm.. are you sure you did enough damage to the champion to get the loot? because it is very hard to do enough damage solo to get loot.
it’s a lot easier if you are in group. then if you hit at least once, and group does enough damage to qualify for loot, you get it too.
tl;dr – you need to do a lot more damage to get loot from event champ, than damage you need to get ‘gold’ event completion.
some champions are so simple to solo you could do it with your eyes closed(worms for instance), i have solo’d champions and not gotten loot
its a bug where sometimes the dailies from the day before still showup in your daily list and wont go away until you do one of the new requirements for the new daily which is kinda hard since you dont know what that daily is since the list is bugged, you would have to find out from someone else, i have had it happen to me where my dailies reset and it looked like i had all the new dailies completed except one new one because all my full bars from the dailies from the day before where still there, its been around for months, maybe reloading the ui would fix it i dunno
yea did they even test this with all classes/weapon combo’s, i tried for 40 mins with a group of 3 other people and managed to get only 7 before i ragequit, a guardian using a sword/torch and sceptre/focus has 1 finisher with a 4 second activation and 40 second cooldown and no combo weapon feilds at all, try timing a 4 second activation to coincide with an enemy death while trying to get it to work before your friends field runs out or they kill the enemy its almost impossible, i have more underwater combos but 0 of them worked after 15 minutes of successfulling killing enemies in fields with finishers, christ it kitten me off, what a slap in the face to people that solo, i also dont craft so i was equally kitten at the crafting part, if the other dailies are as kitten i will be quitting and try to find another game that doesnt try to “fix” something that isnt broken, why mess with the dailies anyway, its obviously a cheap attempt to strecth out gameplay and make it look like new content with the least effort, jesus put your time into fixing bugs and making a real expansion not trying to force players to play a certain way and taking the fun out of it for a lot of people, oh well it was a fun game while it lasted, but this new update doesnt bode well at all.

i live in canada and the internet here sucks considering, best speeds i can get are 750kb/s and i live in a pretty big city with a university and a college.
why the hell don’t they just post the patch size in the patch notes on the announcements page, i mean it seems like common sense to me, some people have slow connections or d/l limits and some people actually have social lifes so an idea when it would be done would be handy.
ok i got the scroll from saballa in the caledon forest and it says to bring it to head researcher levvi but nothing happens when i do, must say so far this event has been a laggy bugfest with not much to show for it.

how do i cancel a ticket?? i figured out my problem, you can’t use capitals in a password, when you press shift while creating a password it registers as lower case, you may want to tell people that somewhere.
seriously wtf is up with guilds, i cant access the build queue, i can’t see upgrades, i cant access the guild bank, wtf, i cant upgrade anything even tho i have the influence, sure its a great game but the guild system is so buggy did you even Q&A it during beta?
just wondering why they dont give class specific rewards for certain things, most importanlty for finising map exploration, for the second tiem in a row it has given me masterwork scale armor which is totally useless to me, how hard can it be to give class specific rewards??? i mean besides the xp whats the incentive for finishign a map?
