Wow… this was probably even worse then the other “LS” things ive done… enter the tower, spend loads of money on repairs because you are to die at least 3-10 times before even getting to the third floor, and then a chest on the top with no fun in it… just random things.

To finish it off… the “story” instance on top was just boring… no conclusion nor cutscenes… just DONE … BAM!

Comeon Anet, you can do better then this!

This game should be renamed to Achivement – Wars 2.. honestly i cannot see where the living world/ story comes into this? All they did was change some of Kessex Hills, add a huge tower that we cannot enter and a short 10 minute dungeon that gave us some bags and karma-bottles… and boyaa! Do 14 achievements and get a free stupid krait obelisk to put in your Home-zone… >_<

Am i crazy, or do i think theres something more about Viathan lake that we do not yet know? And why this tower? Are they mustering power to summon a (Le)Viathan ? Who knows Indeed interesting and at the same time makes me crazy..

Anet’s mentality when it comes to items on the Gemstore are a question-mark in itself… dont expect cool items back then to come back. Unless, i might be wrong but.. And a tips: if you want cool weapon-skins, its better to burn 27 gold on one from the TP instead of spending 1600-2000 gems on Black Lion keys., hoping to get a Claim Ticket or two.

Maybe it has something to do with dragons? Maybe Kralaktorik has spawned?

I will. And i did do a loggin-session from GPUz. At max, the game utilizes around 1100MB of memory. It does load at its representative speeds to.

3dMark: Ive tested both latest versions, and thoose scores are perfectly fine. Just about 100 points below others, because of theirs cpu-speeds on the 3820 are a tad higher then mine( 4,4ghz, while im runnin at 4,2ghz)

And to add: Im testing a game called Take On Mars( currently in beta) and very 3D-rendered with rocks, surface etc. This runs smooth on ultra. So does Tomb Raider 2013, and Splinter Cell Black Ops.

And it seems, when i turn reflections ingame to Terrain and sky, things settle abit, about 25 + more fps. Ive read that Reflections- > ALL are a killer, as according to someone, theres apparently water everywhere under the surface in Tyria?

I did some testing last night, fiddling with settings. I do run it at max ( reflections set to Terrain and sky) And in some areas.. the card pushes 140 fps.) Except in Lions Arch which is 30)
And in Tequatl, i do run on about 50-60-90 depending on what happens, that goes for the other dragon-bosses too). So it seems to have fixed itself by just fiddling with settings here and there.

Then tell me this: My GTX580 could do GW2 without problems ( spikes, drops etc) and the same day i inserted a prefectly good Titan card, it just runts. Then put the GTX580 back, no issues whatsoever

Hi, due to my card-issuer i am unable to purchase gems at the moment. Will it be ok if a friend of mine purchased the gems, converted them to gold and sent the amount to me? Or would the admins see this as an attempt to cheat?

I have a 4,2ghz i7 3820, 8gb of memory and the titan card.. As i said, and said before, it runs smooth in every other game, except GW2, which is utterly utterly badly optimized and im an it-tech so i know my hardware.

I can confirm that the TITAN rocks in games like Tomb Raider, Splinter Cell Black Ops and the Witcher 2. And i got it fairly cheap, so thats why i have it.

Hi, does anyone know of the current status on game-optimization? This game feels quite poorly optimized at the moment ( and using DX9???, when lol, DX10, and 11 is out) Anyways, could we get a status on the optimization soon?:)

No improvement whatsoever… is it the devs at ANet who has to fix things, or is it Nvidia’s fault? Im still waiting…eagerly…

Ive not seen any sort of improvement on this game and the GTX TITAN card. ( and for thoose who wants to start shouting about the TITAN, hold your tounge!)
I know that you have alot to do, but seriously, it cant be that of an issue?

And: A system similar to LOTRO. You had your armor, and then you could add say something else like another cloak, jacket etc in another window. So just by switching your looks, and keeping the main armor on whilst appearing differently) PLEASE ADD THIS

Rednaz: Indeed… or the cultural armor ( that costs alot at T3) and you have to spend a buckload of gold on it. Or spend gems on Transmutation-stones to get the look you want.

Take my example: I rolled a warrior last night just to get access to Braham’s armor and some of the cultural armor-pieces of the norn… now i have a rather nice armor-look, that is in my eyes perfect for a norn warrior! But alas, we need more styles!

Ive been playing this great game for a year now and seen my share of variations in armor-design.. can you PLEASE redo the lot, like there’s a tonnage of trench-coats for us medium-armor users… and no design-variaton in exoctic armor… its all the same, except the different name-variations..

I beg of you.. PLEASE redo the armor-sets ( And for kittens sake, remove the pirate-armor!)

Hey, so after trying to take down the Fire Elemental in Metrica Province after the major update last night, there are some seriouse issues to adress:

First run, we got the FE down to about 10% HP when suddenly all participants DC’ed and logged back in again, only to find the FE had resetted and the event rebooted.
Second time this happened again, now however every participant were yelling nasty words because of this…

So ANet? Whats going on? :/

to add: its very laggy still, the game apparently goes down on the graphic-settings… i have no idea whats going on..

Ive just confirmed my suspicion: I replaced the GTX Titan with the 580 and voila, all good again.
My cpu is a i7 3820 @ 3,9ghz with all cores burning and good temperatures. And the TITAN Scores 13260 on the gpu-test in 3dmark 11. Also, all other games work perfectly fine.

Yes, it has been excaclty the same since the 580 was there. And it works fine in every other game.

Hi! I got my GTX Titan two days ago and so far in games it preformed well. BUT, in GW 2 it just struggles, if im in LA and turn around it dips to 10 fps, so say in every other region it just fights the framerate. Im currently on the 314.22 drivers, and this was no problem when i was on my old GTX580.

Is this a driver issue or an issue by the game itself?
And, has anyone else experienced this with the Titan-card?

This is the clipping/glitch on the Commando-jacket i got from the story-line quest.

Ive reported in a few graphical glitches on the Commando’s Jacket that im wearing on my norn female, thoose were however reported ingame so i guess the devs/support-guys recieved thoose as well. If not i will post screenshots of the glitch here when i come home from work today.

Hey, as i had no idea where to put this thread: Im looking for an Invaders Rawhide Vest and came across this from the WvW trader. However, there are other rarities of this as well, but i have no idea where to find it.
