What would people think about reintroducing celestial amulet except with a slight nerf to it so that it doesn’t have such a high stat pool.
Before it gave +560 to 7 stats which gave a total stat pool of 3920 compared to 3220 from 4 stat amulets and 3000 from 3 stat amulets. If they brought down each stat from 560 to 500. It would give 3500 which would still be higher than the total stats of 3 and 4 stat amulets but not by as much. The number can be changed to be less if people still think it would be too powerful but I don’t think it would be used nearly as much as before it was taken out because of the new amulets that were introduced. It could also help create build variety.
A list of stat pools between 4 stat amulets (3220) and what celestial was before it was removed (3920).
460 to each stat: 3220 (equivalent to 4 stat)
470 to each stat: 3290
475 to each stat: 3325
480 to each stat: 3360
490 to each stat: 3430
500 to each stat: 3500

Id be interested , been looking for a team to compete in AG and eventually pro league, I play mainly Scrapper and Reaper but have experience on every class and would be willing to practice a different class more. Am on EST time zone, available most days
1. Tone down meta Reaper, Revenant, Scrapper, Druid, Tempest (support), and Chronomancer (elites and utility) builds, buff Dragon Hunter, Daredevil and Berserker and non-meta weapons,traits, and skills of meta classes. Balance all the classes to make them all optimal picks and more variety for builds.
2. Add more maps to conquest, death match and stronghold (mainly conquest)
3. Add a queue option for Death match (Courtyard) at least In unranked, and if courtyard is not ranked, neither should stronghold.
4. Map mechanic changes to existing maps such as making Ferocity more useful on Temple of the Silent Storm and making lord have more health and/or a downstate in Legacy of the Foefire.
5. Add more stuff to Heart of the Mists such as mystic forge and crafting stations, and making it look a lot better and/or letting us queue from outside of Heart of the Mists.
The people are dreaming that can use a Cleric support build in ESL.

Changing the distance for “Search an Rescue” though, doesn’t seem all to fair, since it’s always been 1200 range and matches the rez distance same to Transfusion from Necro.
Transfusion is 600, not 1200

I’ve only noticed this happening in Auric Basin during meta event and in wvw, regardless of the population in wvw. Its been happening almost everyday in these areas but its fine anywhere else.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the game but the problem is still there.

Check out Borlis Pass, I think you and your guild would really enjoy yourself there. They have a great community and are around the high-middle part of the silver league.
IoJ fields much better guilds in the open than BP. You guys are still a challenge for us. Help us get better!
Honestly sbi are obsessed with bp…always mentioning us in every matchup you have.
In open field sbi is terrible, why I see you guys run into towers and spam ac and ballistas. Even when you outnumber the enemy you run…Friday day we did nothing but wipe you guys all the time. Took sm so many times, even all your keeps. So stop saying bp is bad cause you have a grudge with us.
Let the sbi trolls say how stupid I am and how bad we are commence!

Borlis Pass has improved in a lot of ways besides DR joined us. If ignorance makes you not realize that, then that is your problem.
It all depends on personal preference really, Both power and condition builds can be very effective in WvW at both small group roaming and zergs.
Condition Necromancers will have a higher range than power necros due to the weapons being used (Changes depending on user, But for the most part) and they might have higher toughness because of the armor that is mostly used by both builds (Rabid for condition, Berserker for power) (Again changes depending on the user and the build)
Due to the range, Condition Necros are less likely to die if they are positioned correctly as opposed to the shorter range of the Power Necros. With high condition damage an epidemic can be devastating if used on the correct target and you can even self apply the conditions very quickly using SoS, BiP, Staff, Scepter and some other skills. And with epidemics low cooldown, You can probably use it several times during a fight (Assuming its atleast a decent fight) With all the conditions with these skills you will not only be doing a ton of AoE damage, but you will also be doing a lot of weakening the enemy since you can apply several stacks of Vulnerability, Weakness, Chill and cripple to a lot of people very quickly. Also, Plague is arguably the best elite to use in WvW and its effects are greatly increased if you are a Condition Necromancer (Condition duration for the AoE blind and weakness/cripple spam, Condition duration and damage for the AoE bleed spam) Being able to apply conditions on to yourself may seem like a negative thing, And it some cases it can be. But if you are hurt, Apply conditions onto yourself and then use Consume Conditions to get healed by an extra 750+(More depending on heaing power) per condition consumed. It can be used to heal for a few thousand more than it normally would.
However, Power necromancers while having a shorter range will be able to do a lot more direct damage (This should be quite obvious). While they might not necessarily be able to do more overall damage, They will most likely be able to do more single target damage (Unless fighting someone with very high toughness). And, They will have much stronger wells (especially Well of Suffering) and that is where most of their AoE damage comes from. However it can be pretty easily avoided as you can just step out of the well, While it may be harder for people to see while zerging. They will probably still just move out of it if they are pushing or being pushed back (Unless you are holding a choke point) But as the people in the back go through, they will get hurt by the wells too. The damage from this will affect more people than Epidemic (If just cast once) would against zergs. But the damage wouldn’t be to several people, Nor will it affect all those people nearly as much as the 25 stacks of bleed + poison + burn + Weakness, Vulnerability, Cripple, and chill that last 20+ seconds that epidemic can per cast to those several people. Instead the damage would be spread out between everyone that gets hit by it.
Both are very effective builds so it really just matters on personal preference and play style. A hybrid combining the two is very effective as well.

Damage: 1050(x7) 150 per pulse (base damage)
Every pulse deals damage and inflicts random conditions. Certain conditions will also give you short lasting boons.
Conditions that can be inflicted:
- 2 stacks of bleed (Lasts 10 seconds)
- 6 seconds of poison [Gives the user 3 seconds of regeneration]
- 4 seconds of burning
- 5 seconds of cripple [Gives the user 2 1/2 seconds of swiftness]
- 4 seconds of chill
- 8 seconds of weakness [Gives the user 1 stack of might that lasts for 4 seconds]
- 5 stacks of vulnerability (Lasts 8 seconds) [Gives the user 4 seconds of protection]
- 2 stacks of torment (Lasts 6 seconds)
- 1 stack of confusion (Lasts 5 seconds)
- 6 seconds of blind [Gives the user 3 seconds of Fury]
Each condition has the same chance of being applied as the rest. And the same condition can trigger multiple times in a row. Boons stack in duration or intensity up to 3 times their original duration. (3 seconds becomes 9 seconds max. 4 seconds becomes 12 seconds max. 6 becomes 18 seconds max. Ect..)
If an enemy affected by the well leaves the well. Any conditions that were inflicted upon him from the well doubles in intensity or duration. (1 stack becomes 2 stacks or 6 seconds becomes 12 seconds)
I don’t think that this would be overpowered considering that it is an elite and it has to compete with the other powerful elites that necromancers have. The conditions and boons don’t last for a very long time and every well is very powerful if the enemy stays in full the full duration. It would give the necromancer more sources to be able to get boons as well.

- Structures can only be claimed if they have upgrades. Claimed things without upgrades will be automatically unclaimed after 1 minute and become unclaimable by the same guild for another 5 minutes.
- Walls get higher as you get more upgrades
- Increase AoE cap from 5 to 10
- Guild commander tags
- A new siege equipment (I don’t have any ideas but as long as its balanced)
- Dead players are forced to spawn after 2-3 minutes.
- A slight height advantage bonus (+3 to 5% crit chance if you have a height advantage)

That was Kalkz (which was told to you in the last match-up thread and you could have seen the name when you saw the post) And also, That was a ‘parody’ of Rekz from Ehmry Bay a few weeks ago when they said they would transfer. Anyway, He is not transferring. And if you don’t care if he said it then why are you insisting that he keeps his word even though it wasn’t him?

Why does BP keep patting themselves on the back for capping SBI BL? We’re a PUG Server, we have next to no guild groups. Let’s compare guilds between BP and SBI.

Even though we have no guilds on our entire server that can put 20+ people in WvW on any night other than reset, you still think you deserve some kind of trophy for beating us. With exception of DR, and Krew, all of your guilds are terrible. WFD is quite possibly the most pathetic 50 man guild zerg ball I’ve ever seen, they have no skill whatsoever.
SBI is the true server of winners, we do more with less guilds than any server on NA. Find a server outside of tier 8 that has less WvW focused guilds than us. I’ll send 5 gold to any BP or Ebay player who can screen shot a 25+ man guild group from SBI during Tuesday-Friday. Hell I’ll even take one from Friday-Monday. That’s how confident I am they don’t exist.
We beat you and your “guilds” thoroughly on the weekends, it’s no secret we PvE during the weekdays but if we had even one, or maybe two dedicated WvW guilds to keep the morale high during the week, we would kitten you in the kitten all week.
TLDR: BP is bad, they have many large WvW guilds, yet only two of them are good (Krew and DR). The rest are kittenty puggers that only make your server look bad.

I have seen BS with 30-35 people wipe SBI zergs of 50+ multiple times today alone. Just because SBI doesn’t have large guilds doesn’t stop them from making large zergs. They just combine multiple guilds that get wiped by BP and then claim that they had less numbers than they really did because they were all from different guilds.
Here we go again. BP bragging that oh look our 30-35 people on voice can beat your 50+, half of whom are upleveled, without consumables and not on voice. You guys are great, can I get your autograph? BP actually thinks that 30-35 people on voice is at a disadvantage against 50+ who are not on voice or using the same level of coordination. Some days our karma train is an excellent fighting force, some days it isn’t. Despite being at a disadvantage fighting BP guild groups, it is not uncommon for our PuG groups to obliterate you in the open field, with no frontline/backline or rotations. The quality of the average player on SBI is just much better than that of BP, and you need massive guild groups on voice chat to disguise this deficiency.
The fact is, a number of people on BP, whether they admit it pubicly or not, know that guilds like WFD are awful at open field fighting. They get wiped time and time again by numerically inferior Ebay guild groups and SBI PuG groups who eat their lunch. On Ebay BL tonight, WFD was described as “free bags”. This will of course be denied, but perhaps some of the Ebay players wiping them at Bay can attest to this.
I might as well add a shout out to Esperanis for bragging about sick PvD skills against the SBI skeleton crew today. You’re bad, and you know it. We’ve taken your eternal keep and garrison a few times this reset with 50-60 of you squirreled away on arrow carts. How often can you say you took keeps against SBI when we had the numbers to put up the same kind of resistance? Never? You play PvDoor for points, and brag about capping empty towers and keeps on our borderlands. How does this make you good?
Except for the fact that multiple times it has happened, We were not on voice. I’m not talking about those 10+ times in eternal that it happened. It happened through out the day as well in other borderlands. Not everyone in Borlis Pass uses voice, In fact a lot of people don’t.
Not a surpirse. SBI blaming there failure on less coordination then the enemy server when it was probably the same. Just to make them seem like they are better than they really are and to try to put down another server.
Also, Since when does a group of people not being very good at fighting (Not saying that they aren’t) mean that the whole server is bad? Every server is going to have bad players.
How often can you say you took keeps against SBI when we had the numbers to put up the same kind of resistance? Never?
Atleast 15 times this match up. A few times where you outnumbered us as well, a lot of superior siege. Fully upgraded keep. Yet we still took it.
Tons of times in the past obviously.
Don’t consider SBI the true winners when all they do is lie about there numbers and blame all failures on superior enemy coordination when a lot of the time coordination was equal and SBI had greater numbers whether they care to admit it or not.

Last time Borlis Pass went up against SBI. SBI constantly glitched into Borlis Passes towers and keeps. And now people from SBI are calling a few people from Borlis Pass cheaters for jumping and getting into SBI’s citadel and delaying crafting for a few minutes.
Towers and Keeps are not off limits. The Citadel is supposed to be off limits to the other servers, like a safe area for a server. The point is not about the crafting but that a safety zone was breeched.
Actually, I think Jet, they are talking about exploiting into a tower or keep with the walls still up.
Now, this could have been the gate glitch that happens by accident. And this has been gone over in our last thread and recognized as accidental and people were told on SBI if it happens to not attack but to run up the stairs and out of the keep immediately.
It could also have been someone hacking into a location. And if it was brought up, SBI leaders ask for screenshots or names (not posted on the fourms but contacted by pm or in game) and we then talk to the individuals or report them ourselves.
Alas, many accusations of glitching into towers and keeps is actually Mesmer portals which I wish they would stop their ability to port people through closed gates… but that’s a different conversation.
Yes, I am talking about glitching through towers and keeps when the wall or gate is not down. Sure, It could have been a mesmer a few times, But on BP forums. We have videos of SBI glitching through the walls and gates. I can understand if it happens once. As that is what happened here. Just because a few people on one server glitched doesn’t mean the whole server is full of cheaters. But we have seen 15-20+ SBI glitch through a tower or keep gate/wall. Not just once, But constantly. (I’m not saying that all of SBI are cheaters obviously, Since SBI consists of more than 20 people) Capturing and defending structures grants points, Points is needed to win and get score. Attacking and defending structures is one of the main objectives in WvW.
And yes, The Citadel is supposed to be a safe zone. Which is why they could not do anything to any of the SBI players as you were safe since you were invulnerable.
Borlis Pass frowns and discourages upon exploiting. But we don’t have control over those specific people. The best we can do is tell them to stop or to report them. I’m not entirely sure that this is considered as an exploit, However it may be. But it doesn’t have that many harmful effects, Especially not compared to glitching through walls and killing the lord in 10 seconds so that no one has a chance to react unless there is already a large force inside the tower or keep.

I have killed some thieves with Signet of Spite and Blood is Power alone.
This is virtually imposible, but cool story
If you have a high condition damage, It is easily possible. You obviously don’t
If the thief uses stealth while they are nearby, Go into death shroud and use Life Transfer. This will do a lot of damage and it may down the thief.
Not even with 11K hit points and zero toughness, another cool story,
Assuming the thief is already hurt, It can easily down the thief. Obviously not when he is at full health. And actually, It is possible to get an 11k life transfer, A lot less likely/impossible in Rabid gear of course.
And even with no armor or traits specced for anything into toughness.. I have never been hit for more than 6k against a thief (And I have fought a lot of thieves)
I been hit countless times for 9k wearing full rabids gear with ascended trinkets, another cool story,
Its not that hard to not let a thief backstab you as a necromancer
Backstab is way too easy to connect and nearly impossible to avoid against a good thief, if fact if you don’t even pay attention you have 75% to connect it,
Saying Such things shows me that you don’t move around a lot during combat and you can’t predict stealth movements.

Sorry if i’m being mean but you are just misleading people saying that thieves are easy to kill as a necromancer,
It took me a lot of effort to learn how to counter and if some guy has been defeated countless times against them is ok, and it’s not he’s fault is because the balance is kittened up,
And most thieves are not that glassy, they wear valkyries and cavalier many times loosing just a little bit of damage and gaining a lot of survivability,
EDIT: As I said im talking about WvW Spvp is another story and thieves are 0k if not under powered,
Thieves are easy to kill as a necromancer if you have a good build and you play it right. I’m not saying they are always easy. And you don’t have to believe me on any of the things I have said that you considered “a cool story”. It’s the internet, Most people are not going to believe other people, And its their choice whether they want to believe something or not. Its fine if you don’t believe it, Its fine if you do.
Also I am talking about WvW as well. I rarely sPvP.
Certain builds are obviously going to help against thieves. You’re current build provides little help against them. Especially if you are getting 2 hit with 100% life force and 30 points into soul reaping while in Death Shroud.
If you think my advice is bad, Then don’t listen to it. Keep getting killed by thieves because you don’t know how to counter them and then keep saying how OP thieves are because you can’t effectively fight them. I’m not saying that my strategy/advice is the only way to do it, There are other ways to do it as I have said a few times in this thread. But I find this way easy and effective as it uses utilities and attacks that a lot of people always have, The effectiveness of it just depends on how they use them.
Use your attacks wisely.

Like I said, There’s no point in placing more than 1 mark, But making them use evades on just 1 mark can be very useful, especially if you do it multiple times. If you can connect one hit, It usually ends there depending on what you used and what you do next. Use your attacks wisely.

Some advices are hilarious,
I’ll assume you are a condicion necro,
a) In WvW a fleeing target is a easy target for a thief, specially a necromancer, your best bet is to stand your ground and try to kill it, dont give your back and don’t try to run away,
b) Even with rabid gear if you can’t avoid the first backstab the game is over, a thief can hit you for 7k easily and there’s no way back from there, sadly backstab is really easy to connect,
b) Don’t waste your marks, don’t drop marks at your feets, marks can be dodged and some of them have high cooldowns, drop them all at the same time on the shadow refuge, reaper’s mark will likely push him out of it, doom + spectral wall + tainted shackles will do the rest,
c) At this point the thief is dead or he’s running away and likely he’s not going back, he will find an easier target,
DONT drop marks at your feets, marks can be dodged and some of them have high cooldowns,
On Spvp this build is just stupid, the limitation on equipment and the game mode put thieves in a very bad spot,
Nevertheless they are blatantly OP on WvW during small skirmishes, even when a terror necro with burning is a good 1V1 duelist, the thief has the edge,
A thief usually never has the edge unless they surprise you, And as I have said a few times in this thread. If you actually look around and don’t get tunnel visioned, you shouldn’t be getting surprised. I have never been killed by a thief 1v1 once I turned level 80 (No more uplevel in WvW) and started using my strategy. Even when I was upleveled in WvW I won the majority of fights against level 80 thieves (This is when they had an “edge” on me) And since then I have fought at least 100 thieves 1v1. And you said if you place a mark a your feet, they can just evade through it.. While they can, It will make them use an evade. Once a thief can no longer evade he will die in 3 seconds max assuming you can actually deal damage. But if you are aiming for them to use an evade, It would be useless to put more than 1 mark. Thieves are not over powered at all, If you learn how to counter stealth, The only thing it can be good for is running away. Which they most likely won’t get the chance to.

A good thief won’t let you see them until they backstab you for 10k damage, then Shadow Shot for 5k, then heartseeker you to death.
…and unlike every other mmo, where a glass cannon thief would be left totally exposed, in GW2 they get to stealth, stomp you, and move on to the next guy.
It is the most OP glass-cannon thief class that has ever existed. There is no risk involved for a full zerker thief, and the people talking about dropping wells, and marks are fighting noobs.
If you actually look around, Thieves shouldn’t be able to surprise you.
And even with no armor or traits specced for anything into toughness.. I have never been hit for more than 6k against a thief (And I have fought a lot of thieves)
Don’t try with the argument that none of them were a good thief. Some of them actually were very good and could easily kill other people very fast (If they didn’t know how to fight them effectivally) And i’m pretty sure that at least one out of every 100 thieves is at least decent.

Use crowd control to your advantage. You should always have at least 1 crowd control ability no matter what you do (unless you have no weapons) and use movement. Evade is very useful to every class, Not just thief

What’s the point if you can’t even hit them? They have like 20 moves that attack and evade at the same time. Not to mention stealth.
To be honest, I don’t think thieves are over powered at all. (I don’t have one but I have seen a lot of them in action) They are actually pretty easy to kill as a necromancer.
The main reason people complain about thieves is because they don’t know what to do when they stealth.
Usually when a thief uses stealth. He/she is either:
- Disengaging (Running away)
- Healing
- Going to make their next attack
Depending on the weapon you are using. Staff and dagger (And maybe warhorn) is arguably the best weapons to use against thieves (Ill explain why later). Although any weapon works fine, sometimes you don’t even have to use a weapon.
If you are using the staff, When a thief stealth’s and you think that he is going to attack you, put Reapers Mark below you. Now if he tries to attack you, He will get instantly feared. You can put other marks on top of it, But if you have several marks below you, The thief is probably not going to attack (with melee at least)
As soon as you are able to attack him (When he unstealth’s) Use Spectral Grasp or Signet of Spite (Or both if you have them) Signet of spite can nearly kill a thief if you have high condition damage (As thieves are generally very squishy) I have killed some thieves with Signet of Spite and Blood is Power alone.
If the thief uses stealth while they are nearby, Go into death shroud and use Life Transfer. This will do a lot of damage and it may down the thief. If he doesn’t get downed and he un-stealth’s a distance away, Use doom and then spam Life Blast until he get downed or until he stealth’s again (I usually have killed the thief by now)
Wells also work against thieves pretty well if you can time them right (Especially Well of Suffering)
Dagger and Staff (and warhorn sometimes) are arguably the best weapons because dagger has a very high damage auto attack (Very useful if the thief tries to fight you directly or if he is close) and because of the Immobilize ability. Staff because of the marks you can put that can help you find out where he is or set traps. (If he stealth’s, Place marks around where he stealth’s. If he triggers one, He is within that area) And warhorn because of the daze ability and the locust swarm that damages anything that is close. These weapons are not required (I run D/D and S/F. But if you are having trouble with thieves, They can help.
Death Shroud is one of the most useful things you have to fight thieves. (Especially if you have the trait where you cast enfeebling blood or retaliation when you enter it) Very high AoE damage and long range single target damage (As well as providing you with a second health bar)
If the thief runs away and you can’t catch him (You usually can’t unless he is slowed/chilled (Signet of Spite does both) or nearly dead) Then there is not much you can do about it. Thieves usually run away if they are losing the fight. Which means you can usually beat them again unless they completely surprise you (Which is hard to do if you look around)
Using this strategy (and with my build, Although many builds should work) I can kill thieves very easily. The only time they have ever killed me is if i have been fighting someone else at the same time (And both the thief and the player were at least decently good at the game).
There are probably many other ways to counter a thief, These are just the easiest ways that I have found. Its easily possible to kill them while in death shroud alone (Assuming you have at least around half of your life force bar)
TLDR:
Signet of Spite or Spectral Grasp + Well of Suffering (Or some combination of these and maybe some other utilities) + Death Shroud = Dead thief
Staff, Dagger and Warhorn are good against thieves.

Every server is going to have squishy or bad players. (Not saying squishy is bad, Just pointing this out) I’ve fought players from both Kaineng and NSP that I was able to down in less than 2-3 seconds. (I’m a necromancer). And i’m sure that other servers were able to do it to some of our players too. Its not something that offense should be taken from.
Its not referring to the whole server as obviously the whole server isn’t going to be squishy.

Overpowered? Rangers can self res with very little skill (I almost never play ranger and can self res) using their elite spirit, and Engineers can generally do it if they down on their Elixer R. It just doesn’t sound like a fun mechanic to me, whereas there is some fun play involved with Rangers (kill their spirit, spike them and catch them off guard) and Engis (wait out the Elixer, get them off it), there is no fun play with a simple res.
There’s a difference between revive while downed and reviving while dead. In the OP he said that it was rez on death.
So it would go: (Alive -> Downed -> Dead -> Alive) as opposed to
(Alive -> Downed -> Alive.)
Rez while downed would be more reasonable. As there are some places that are not meant to be explored and the result in falling down them is death. If necromancers could revive while dead then it would allow them to be in those areas that are not meant to be explored.
As well as being able to come back from the dead which would be over powered. Coming back from downed would be more balanced.

Bonus chests are gotten from when you level up in WvW. Every time you level up you will get 1 bonus chest.
Bonus Chests will contain several Badges of Honor (BoH), A piece of siege equiptment and an item (usually fine or masterwork) with the item having a chance of being a rare, exotic or ascended (Ascended is extremely rare)
I don’t know if this is a proven fact but it seems that every 10 levels (10,20,30, ect.) give better loot. I have gotten superior siege equiptment or golems along with a rare item every 10 levels. It seems to have a better chance to drop stuff every 5 levels as well. (I have only gotten superior siege and golems on a level ending with a 5 or 0)
If they kicked everyone from a server that had a higher population to give it the same population of the lowest server of that match up then most people would complain. Why should higher population servers be punished for a match making issue? Its not that servers fault that they got matched up with a server with a lower population. And I can imagine what the lowest population server of that match up would do.. Have a small group of people (just enough people to take an undefended keep) and stay at that amount of people. Ask anyone to join to leave (Trash talk them if need be) so that the other 2 servers can only have that amount of people and they won’t be able to defend properly.
Also with servers that don’t have a NA prime time. Why should their players be punished? If a server had a Oceanic prime time while the other two servers had a NA prime time. The Oceanic prime time server will only be able to have a few people in it. When tons of people are wanting to play WvW, Only a few will be able to play it. Also, If a guild from the lowest population server logs out, 20 people get kicked from the other servers. It would cause so many issues so this would be a very bad idea to implement.
Some servers have different prime times than others.. No need to alienate and punish them for it.
While it would make sense since we are necromancers, It would be over powered.. Being able to self rez would pretty much guarantee a victory in any 1v1 or 1v2 fight. Also it would allow us in WvW to always be able to get through the large horde of enemies attacking a tower or keep gate. Run through the zerg, If you die just rez at the teleport door and you’re in. I think this would be a bad idea to implement because of this.
And even if it was implemented, It would cause problems due to necromancers saving money on waypoint costs and a lot of people would complain about it making you rez in a spot where you don’t want to. Like if you died in a place you cannot get out of, It would cause players to get in places where they are not meant to be in and it would have to be optional if you want to rez or not.

I have spent a sleepless night to see what SoS is like when they are Zergballing and what I saw was hardly impressive. If you guys were not awake when everyone else is asleep, you would be on Par with Henge of Denravi. Maybe Henge is a underestimate. Perhaps Darkhaven? I can say this with all seriousness. Coming up the ranks, we’ve had the privlidge of fighting numerous servers. SoS is a tier 6, maybe bottom ranking tier 5 server ,skill wise and number wise. The only thing is their numbers hit when North America is asleep.
And so, thanks to Glicko, you will be able to suck points off better servers (like Ehmry Bay) because you can night cap all their keeps and hold them for a couple hours until they wake up and monkey stomp you. But the Glicko still awards you those ranking points. Until you run into Dragonbrand anyway, and get curb stomped back down into Tier 3 or 4 to repeat the process. Beware though, thanks to Glicko, odds are good you are going to hit Darkhaven and SBI at the same time.
After that the glicko works in reverse. Note how BP has gained nearly 40 points off of you. All your points have been vampired from Ehmry this match. Against Darkhaven and SBI, all they have to do is maintain a pulse and you will lose points. However I know both are reasonably competent, so they will fight so long as they don’t get demoralized. As such, you are going to lose a ton of ranking points will be straight down to tier 5, to spend the next 4 weeks crawling back up. Call me the prophet.

Have you NOT been in WvW to see us take your keeps in your own borderland and hold them for hours? Or are you colorblind? We take half your lower BL Hills/Bay easy and hold it for ages, until you scrape up some group to push us back.
I think he meant ranking points, as he is talking about the ranking system and SoS probably wouldn’t be getting ranking points from a server that is 6 server ranks below it.
