We’ve started Introductory Raids for those interested in getting into raids! Led by some of our experienced officers.

Recruitment for the guild is always open, and we are currently having a guild vote for specified raid times for Fridays, to begin doing a starter raid group. We also have been hosting map completions every day on wednesdays, and our officers have been working really hard to represent the guild..

We are still recruiting and have gone through a guild process to decide on a server for WvW. We will be throwing our hat in and transferring to Yak’s Bend over the course of the next few months(with no rush to our current membership). As always, being on the same server as us is not required to join if you do not want to participate with the guild in WvW. However, assistance with farming the amount needed to transfer will be given to those who need it.

We’re currently in the process of considering a starter raid group(Not serious for progression, but more as an intro to raiding), but otherwise we actually encourage our members to find side-guilds that specifically orient themselves to the Focused gameplay they’re interested in. We are more of a guild based around the idea of Friendship in the end, and embrace the idea that they allow you to join multiple guilds, and representation doesn’t really matter much anymore, as You may want to be in a hardcore WvW/spvp guild, or a hardcore Raiding/Fractals guild, but want a Social side guild for the active guild chat.

Hey hey! Full Resolve[Rslv] is back! As a social guild, we have embraced the changes to guilds brought about by HoT, and are here to build up our social core again. The guild was founded near the beginning of the game’s launch as a large hardcore NA WvW guild, but as time progressed and people moved on, it has transformed into a very casual, new player friendly small community focused on having fun and being able to be friends with everyone in the guild! Since we focus on PVX, we do not specifically recruit per server, and take anyone from any server. We also do not require any amount of representation, though ask that you participate in scheduled guild events when needed, as well as participate in guild chat.

We believe that an active guild chat is necessary for a healthy guild, We also believe that a smaller, more friendly and approachable community is a must! We are extremely open to new players, or those who don’t have much play time, who just want a couple nice people to hang around with them and show them the ropes. If you need a one on one session to show you where things are and to get you started on the road to success, many guild members would be more then willing to help you out with that!
Whether you want to do dungeons, low level fractals, leveling content, Story quests, exploration, spvp, or Edge of the Mists, we will have someone who can assist you or come and hang out with you!

Full Resolve currently has a mostly unlocked Guild Hall, and is level 47 at the moment. We are currently debating future dates for guild events, as we are rebuilding after a few months of sedentary play.

There is also a guild discord server that we all use to communicate when we are outside the game, for announcements, and for organizing events when others may be online but not in game. The VOIP channel, however, is generally not used. It is meant to be there as a tool for those who might need it for harder content that requires more coordination, but is not something we use for everyday conversation.

Heyhey. I’m currently sitting on a halfway leveled guild, Full Resolve [FuR] with some starting missions unlocked, that I once ran back in the beginning of the game as a hardcore WvW guild. However, I am much much more casual nowadays, and considering inviting people, and restarting it up as a casual haven for whatever goes gameplay. EOTM, sPVP, Fractals, Dungeons, World Karma training, etc. Not interested too much in restarting it as a WvW guild, and want to cater to anyone of any server. Located on US servers, I’m technically on Tarnished Coast, but doesn’t matter what server you are on.

I am mainly desiring to make a community for casuals and new players, a place it’s safe to experiment with builds that might not be meta, or gear that’s considered “Bad” by elitists. I also do not desire to force people to use Voice coms, so though I can make one available, I myself will not use them. I want to promote an open and active guild chat over taking interaction outside of the game. There are places of course it is necessary to voice com, like high level fractals and more serious team spvp, but I will leave that up to the members.

Would be open to giving those who want officer positions more power, but I’m no pushover, so we’ll talk about it. Also would prefer at least 50% representation. No silly checkins, no badgering, no high numbers.

Hey hey, I’m looking for a new guild, I returned to the game after a break of 2 years about two weeks ago. I am interested in a talkative guild who uses guild chat mostly, but also uses VOIP when getting down and dirty.

I have all classes at 80, in full exotic gear, and am working on an ascended set for whatever my main will be(still deciding). I am looking for a friendly guild that doesn’t take themselves seriously, can laugh and joke, and have fun. Adult language should be allowed, and shouldn’t be “kid friendly”, obviously. I am most experienced in Bunker Guard, Condi Necro, and Warrior.

As for myself personally: I am a full time college student who can play all weekend, and most days of the week from 7pm-11pm. I live on the Pacific coast, so am looking for a guild with similar timeframes. I will be able to rep the guild 99% of the time(not saying 100% because I have a personal guild for a guild bank that I will switch to for a few moments to deposit/withdraw things, so can’t profess a complete 100% rep). I would also prefer a guild that uses Mumble over teamspeak and Vent. My computer has a lot of issues with Teamspeak causing IRQ issues due to it conflicting with a peripheral, so as long as you’re fine with me getting into TS very sparingly and talking mostly in guild chat to others, I might not be a good candidate.

I like running Tanky crit/support builds, do a ton of theorycrafting for myself, and number crunching, so do not want a guild that will dictate what builds and gear I can and cannot use. I also am not looking for a guild that puts heavy focus on sPVP or Fractals. I do not enjoy those forms of gameplay.

I MIGHT also be interested in helping someone set up a new guild, Or even building my personal guild up from scratch if there’s others who want what I want in a guild but can’t find anything like it(my guild has all WvW buffs unlocked and a lot of other unlocks, not all, but most).

Returning player here with all classes at 80 with full exotic. Last time I played was almost 2 years ago, and didn’t return for the “expansion”, that was just a happy coincidence.

I am a full time college student, and 32. I will mostly have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off, but will have nights after 7pm open most other days, PST time zone.. I am currently on Anvil Rock, but possibly interested in transferring if the server’s pvp and guild agree with me in about a week. I do not care what bracket your server is in so long as it is active and exciting. Because of my playtimes, I am not looking for something too serious, but rather a group of people I can log in and have fun with and expect them to have my back, and are usually either running a dungeon or doing WvW.

I am a very self sufficient player, I don’t ask for handouts, and try to earn all stuff myself, and don’t constantly badger for groups, but would love to find a guild that does mainly WvW, and some dungeons on the side. I won’t do sPVP or Fractals, I find them boring. I am currently trying to decide my new main, I have the most experience with both a Condi necro and a Bunker Support Guardian. I also have a commander pin, but don’t use it or leave it on much, as I think of it as a strategic tool, and don’t currently know many of the new strategies. I am also working on ascended gear currently. I also enjoy mindless world trains for loots.

What I’m looking for in a guild: Must use Guild chat mostly. I love listening to music via headphones while online and do not like to bother my roomates with VOIP. I can use VOIP when necessary, and prefer Mumble and Raidcall over Vent and Teamspeak (teamspeak might actually make me say no, I hate it, vent is iffy.) Guild also must allow trolling and profanity, don’t need a carebear guild. I don’t swear all the time, but I do it in fun, and I enjoy a little trolling here and there. Also like mentioned, I enjoy WvW the most, so want a guild that’s heavily active, either a larger guild that zergs a bit, or a smaller guild that havocs. Would also like semi-frequent dungeon runs. Don’t care for events or how far leveled the guild is so long as it’s active, etc.

Grats also on using Xform pots to keep your mesmer from timing out. Hopefully they’ll fix that soon enough, but we kept the keep for 2 ticks, don’t care otherwise.

Also: grats on not being able to kill anyone 1v1 without running your kitten off in stealth, yourself. So pro.

great to see this from the other side props to everyone there all 3 servers fighting an epic fight, a small shame AR concentrated on the rest of your BL but there after the PPT only makes sense they did so!, all in all mad props back to WAR/SOS/ALS too many to mention.

Meh, the fight was amusing at least from the AR side, But yeah, like mentioned before, SoS and ALS had planned to hit BP BL at 8pm server time for over a day, was in the MOTD and everything for ALS. The goal of the night’s maneuvers was to learn to work together as a group, within our alliance, and to flip all of BP BL. The fact that Ebay was there UNPLANNED already working on it was just an addition to the night that needed to be strategized around. The Participation of AR’s [War] as well was unplanned, and many of us only found out a bit before the stuff started, but was a welcome addition.

One of the highlights for the night was randomly running into PK and Rekz just before the hills fights in the ravines under hills and just plowing through them with EVERYONE from AR on the map(Mind you, we had BP BL queued so bad that it took 20-30 minutes for some people to get in).

What the higher ups wanted was to get a fight like hills going where all the forces were at one place at once, so we knew where they were, We didnt’ plan it to be hills, it just happened to end up being hills.

Once we commited to the fight for 20 minutes or so with our full group, A skeleton Crew was left, just enough people to make it appear like most of our forces were still there, while a good chunk went through with the original plan, to flip BP BL.

Glad that Ebay and BP had a good time in the hills fight though. I can’t really say I did or didn’t tho. Had more fun working with the rest of the server rather then actual fun wiping over and over for a fight we knew we weren’t there to win.

Anyways, map pic from right after hills fell, and we had backed off to take the last few locations we needed(and just secured north camp). We came right back to hills and flipped it to end the night’s goals right after this pic was taken.

AR/DH Party After a long fight in AR BL at Bay. For some random reason we all decided to place blueprints everywhere :P. And well done Holding on to your Keep AR ^^.

Kara and a few other commanders were a great help during that siege with some extra siege placement and urging puggies not familiar with me to stand by me and push though they were not running their tag til after the siege. Not to mention the puggies who willingly pushed with me up into your superior numbers without backing down. I credit them all to breaking your guy’s siege and demoralizing the DH pugs into going to find something “Easier” to take.

I was the one with the pin on during the Bay siege tho, and that pesky Charr [FuR] Guardian commander always running up into your guyses business and scaring all the puggies with my guild full of survival guardians. Turned off my Commander tag afterwards though so that the more offensive minded commanders could sweep up. Was a great fight. How many golems did you guys bring in? I want to say 8 or so.

Full Resolve[FuR] is a relatively new guild founded on Anvil Rock by a group of friends, looking to establish a guild based on Family principles, Fun loving athmosphere, Competitive spirit, and an unbigoted community that is open to everyone, of any nationality, race, sex, gender, ethnicity, religion, or creed. Initially from Darkhaven, we are recent transfers to Anvil Rock, and have been on the server for a week, following research as to a low rank server with a nice community. We have a Mumble VOIP for contact, and do not believe in Guild websites due to the lack of most members in our overall experience to use one as such.

Currently we are an international guild with members from the US to Israel, but are always open to future players of all nationalities, timezones, and Geographical areas. We have casual players who play no more then 2-3 hours a day, as well as more “Hardcore” players who play 12-15 hours a day. We are looking to fill out our roster in any and every time zone, though specifically looking for players from4pm server time til 3 am server time. As we are a family-like guild, we want to overall keep our membership within about 50-60 individuals max, though we are currently well below our goal.

We pride ourselves on being resourceful as well as knowledgeable in the game and ways of it. Our members are always willing to help. As an example, over the last 4 days, from 0 gold, our members were able to scrounge and make 100g for our first commander pin! Between all our members, we can answer pretty much all game related questions you may have, though we first encourage our members to research before asking many simple questions!

Our current commander, though new to the commander tag, is very experienced in WvW strategies and tactics, As a guild, we focus pretty hard on WvW, and will make our presence known there once we have more numbers. As a guild, we pool our siege, and build superior siege together for the commander to hold on to and deploy when necessary. We do not expect any of our members to carry siege, as too many people throwing siege confuses the pugs who will join in when the commander tag is on. We do ask that when pushes are called, that our members push and show bravery to inspire the pugs following to do as we do! Red names aren’t scary, and often a concentrated push will break their lines and cause them to scatter. We welcome every class that our members may chose when they roll with us in wvw, and will not question or reject anyone for their class choice. We are however looking for more guardians, mesmers, and Eles in specific!

As for our members, like mentioned, we have many LBGT members, as well as many players with families, babies, childrend, and new players to boot. We are looking for players interested in this sort of athmosphere in a PVX/WvW setting

At this point, everyone decides this is the worst crime to eve happen. Cause a small meaningless truce this far into the week for funzies is clearly super serious.

Have funsies. Thats just great. I just saw the outmanned buff at GOM Borderlands. There are others getting tired as well of this matchup. It begins to get demoralizing especially when you are being double teamed.

Keep your chin up. This is the goal afterall of the matchmaking, There is not a high chance that the servers will ever be close enough to facilitate matches changing out frequently, and all we can hope for is for the bracket below us to gain more traction and people to the point that they can fluctuate with our tier easier.(not to mention that matchups were first advertized as initially going to be 2-3 week long matches, not these 1 week matches we are currently having, nor the 1 day matches we started with) If you really want constantly fluctuating matches, there are not enough servers to have a rotating tier as such, and more servers is not the answer.

The servers I was watching to see where they would stabilize have found stabilizing tiers already(IoJ, SBI), so the only thing you can do is either get your server to purposely throw a match, if you want to change it up THAT bad, which would, in turn, make One server go down a bracket, and Probably give DH enough points to catapult them up a bracket where DH doesn’t have enough people to compete in the next tier and will lose, and just come back anyways.

On the topic of doubleteaming… That’s one of the downsides to a 1v1v1 type setup. Everyone will be double teamed sometime during the match, and the only way to do out with it is to run a 1v1 setup. I know many times I’ve gone into WvW and seen GoM chomping at the bits in our borderlands with HoD pushing hard at our properties in EB. Just need to rally and push back. That’s all you can do.

Keep heart, but realize that these matchups won’t change like they used to, and will probably lock into near perminent matchups. That’s the downside to very even matchups.(yes, we are a rather even matchup, even if DH has won frequently since we moved down here)

EDIT: On the topic of doubleteaming: I felt this was important to bring to light for anyone interested: [SE] Is currently “allying” itself with HoD, at least on some level, to push GoM out of our matchup. This is going on, and was noted in /t when Abyss took a tower that GoM was holding in HoD’s borderlands. Play for server, play your best, and play for fun, Doubleteaming is not kosher, guys, and [Abys] will never take part in such an action.

OH, so that’s where he went! I knew you guys couldn’t have torn him down outside. I got a decent amount of badges with the ballista I was on before we decided to go take HoD’s Keep instead.

And all those trebs at garrison! We smashed at least six of them on the cliffs at one point, then came back later and broke some more. Also, almost every arrow cart and flame ram we’ve run into the last couple of days has been upgraded to superior. Is there a siege sale going on over on DH or something?

Nah, In [Abys] at least, we all pool our siege on our main commanders. If you see us in [Abys]with a huge golem siege going on(we’ve done a 10 omega siege golem train before, video’s on youtube), or all the trebs, It’s usually Leone dropping them all. It’s common for members to buy siege, upgrade it to Superior, then hand it off to Leone for future deployment. It’s better to have one person throw down the siege then it is for random people to chuck it all over. The siege is either bought, or gathered from the jump puzzles. You’d be surprised how much siege a guild that can zerg 20-30 people of its own can get for itself for free, or at a really cheap overall cost.

We didn’t do the Trebs at garrison tho, we don’t normally do trebs at all… except for yesterday I guess, but he put them up in EB, not in garrison.

Just noticed that I’m the charr guardian in the last pic in the capture circle. lawls. Oh, and you guys in [RH] Were kinda fun to fight for the northwestern camp with, just before we built the golems. You guys had more people, and a couple of our overeager players overextended. Live and learn, won’t be that simple next time, you guys were easy to push back until they overextended past the choke where our ballista was hitting you guys.

Aaahahhaa. [Abys] Got tired of kittenfooting around trying to get our bay back. We kept sweeping the majority of your defenders off the bridge in inner to give the “Alliance” guys a chance to take it, but they decided that going for front gate was a plan. And we were all perfectly fine until we noticed that the 30-40 of them had been somehow wipsed. So, yeah, 9 golems. [Abys] doesn’t kittenfoot around when we need to get our stuff done. I was that first golem!

Great screens though, you guys had pretty awesome defenses set up, and still took down about 4 of the golems before the door blew. Still a great fight!

Also would love to add: About dancing. I don’t corpse dance, but I’ll victory dance on my charr(only). The Reason being, the type of dance it is! The Haka is a ceremonial dance that is both a challenge and a sign of respect to your competitors or who the dance is done towards(it’s done at funerals of soldiers too as a sign of respect). Anyways, Had an amazing experience last night with [Abys] in Borderlands. One of my guild’s commanders and I were taking care of some mortars on HoD keep while our zerg was focusing on Anz. Got our commander out of there then played distraction against 2 stealth thieves for a good minute. Just as they were giving up on downing me, and jumping into the water, and I was at about 1/3rd health with all my cooldowns on CD, some HoD warrior jumps down from the top of the tower and Hundredbladed off the last bit of my HP, Except, he did the stupid thing and stood next to the foot of the cliff while casting his stomp, so I just pushed him off with downed #2. He died, I immediately rallied, I laughed for a good few minutes, collected the Warrior’s lootbag, and just walked back to Anz for the capture.

Yep, you did. I’m still trollign the waters, seeing what else might be out there before dedicating to a guild in particular.

To start this off: I have 5 80’s, all either fully Rare geared or fully exotic geared. Depending on what the guild needs, I can switch to one and get it up and sitting in full exotics, etc

What I’m looking for in a guild: Mumble preferrably, then Vent, Not a fan of Teamspeak or any other voips. I have an issue with Blocking (a form of stutter) so I would prefer a guild that uses guild chat for most communication outside of actual PVP groups, events, etc, as I can easily communicate in written word, though I can still talk in vent well, I just prefer a guild that does not use it primarily as all communication.

Also looking for a smaller guild, around 30-50 active members. I can play for quite a few hours a day(10+) and I feel a guild is supposed to be a group of pople you can get along with, and work together with, and be friends with. I do not believe guilds are just loose collections of numbers of people, nor do I like putting up with guild drama, or players who feel the need to constantly argue. I love having intelligent debates on Theorycrafting though. I have left a guild before because of a player who felt the need to jump on anything any player in the game felt just to prove they were wrong and he was right, and would refuse to accept something was an opinion when it was, etc. It made for a hostile environment that I did not care to have for a guild.

I love WvW, and I enjoy playing and leveling new characters. I would WvW all day if I had guildmates to run with, Though sometimes I just like to pretend I’m in a korean grinder and just grind out some gold on random mobs. I would prefer moving to a server that’s in a bracket where Portal bombs are the exception, not the norm. Been in the first two brackets long enough to realize that chucking aoes on 50 people standing on a mesmer portal for an hour while 5-6 mesmers port them around is not my idea of fun. Would rather be on a lower population server in a lower bracket actually doing something that feels like I’m making a difference then spend all day fighting mesmer portals. So I’d prefer a server no higher then bracket 4, and probably no lower then 6.

I also enjoy PVE Grind content, and running DE’s, So if possible, I’d like to also be on a server that has groups active running DE"s in Orr or Lost shores for Karma farming(like Plinx). I don’t really do dungeons much except if the monthly asks for it, and even then, not Explorables.

I ALSO cannot attend any events that may be scheduled aroun 6pm -8pm servertime(PST), on any day of the week(I have responsibilities I need to take care of), so a guild that has required events around this time of day I cannot join without not being able to attend said events.

My transfer is up, and I’m willing to go to any server for the right group of people. I would also be interested in starting up a guild with like minded people. Hit me up in game or pm me here(charater name Narolla, leveling a ranger now.)

What’s with people not reading that I can’t make events at all during the week during the 5pm-7pm PST timeslot(8pm-10pm EST)? I mean, It’s nice that you’re trying to give me a guild option, but a decent chunk of the guilds who’ve responded have Mandatory events during the timeslot’s I’ve said I can’t make, thus your guilds would not be a good fit for me, unfortunately.

Yo, it might not be the best idea to be trolling in the support forum. Besides the point. As you didn’t seem to read, I fixed the issue myself after a bit of research, and put up what fixed it for me, so that others who have the issues can see it, and fix it. Reformating and putting on the Release preview is not an option for me at the moment.

If a moderator could lock this, that’d be great.

Seem to have fixed the issue: Last patch did something that rendered normal ATI drivers on Windows 8 incompatable with GW2, UNLESS you are running the AMD windows 8 preview drivers. After removing the previous drivers and restarting my computer, I installed the AMD Catalyst Windows 8 preview drivers from: http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/Windows8ConsumerPreviewDrivers.aspx

No more fragmenting or weird text, or hovering sillhouettes.

Managed to just get screenshots of this:

http://i.imgur.com/ia3Zw.jpg shows the text corruption in both the chat channel as well as over mob’s heads, as well as on all the settings. This is the same with anything that as text.

http://i.imgur.com/ozqMe.jpg further goes into the sillhouetting that’s happening when it seems like certain portions of rendering fails, how the sillhouettes of trees can be seen in the sky, etc, as if the natural fogging is broken.

Eventually if I run around like that, I start running into invisible or black platforms and buildings. It is in no way a playable form at the moment.

Description: Severe graphics corruption, fragmenting, and instability after last patch. Inability to screenshot it as it crashes and produces a black screen. After about 2-3 minutes, textures that were loaded would become unloaded, unresponsive, from the haze in the background leaving a perminent outline of the treeline and sky that stays and could be shown against the sky, to the text above mobs and players heads(nameplates), down to models of the characters or mobs or buildings, or trees surrounding going black. happens at a set time of about 2 minutes of loading the game. Only affects GW2. MW3, WoW, SWTOR are running without this corruption.

What I tried:

1. Updated graphics card to the latest beta drivers
2. Restarted computer
3. Tested other games to ensure it wasn’t a dying graphics card
4. Used -repair, didn’t find anything corrupted.
5. Lowered all graphics settings as low as I could before the corruption made me inable to see the settings.

Short of reinstalling the game, Dunno what to do. Maybe this is an incompatibility with Windows 8? Didn’t see anyone else in the last 5ish pages mention anything similar happening to them after today’s patch. I was running the game fine an hour before patch, Boyfriend spent the rest of the night playing WoW, then an hour ago, I downloaded the GW2 patch, and saw the unplayable corruption.

I have the crash dump text saved, if it’s needed, I only crash when I try to take a screenshot.

I’m running specifically an AMD 5770, 18 gigs ram, with an i7-2700k, 3.50ghz quad core on Windows 8 Consumer Preview build 8250. Any help with this would be awesome.

Edit: just tried Frapsing the corruption, again another crash. Can fraps all I want on WoW and other, more graphically demanding games.

We’re hard at work at the moment looking for people who want to have people to play with that they can respect, and expect to perform appropriately, as well as reinforcing the guild infrastructure. If interested, hit us up.

I’m a pretty hardcore competitive player seeking a guild that is mostly devoted to WvW. I am not a fan of dungeon farming, or sPVP, just throwing that out. Currently on Henge of Denravi. Previous recent background in server first competitions for Raids/classes in WoW(server first 85 hunter for cata), Rift, and SWTOR (top server pvp shadow). Would be willing to go to another of the top 4 servers such as eredon’s terrace, Jade Quarry, or Stormbluff Isle for the right guild.

Would prefer a small – medium sized active guild. Maybe one in an alliance instead of a zerg in itself. Not too fond of faceless guilds where you don’t get to know people. Prefer commando work over zerg work. Sometimes doing the unimportant looking things in the shadows are that which earns you the keep in the end, etc. Also have long playing hours, and would like to be in a guild with people with a similar disposition to waste long strings of time in game having fun and owning.

Have ventrilo, TS3, and Mumble currently downloaded and set up, can use any, but prefer Mumble.
