Good golly. Anet just can’t seem to please people at all, can they? I found the new content an absolute blast. I had a party of two people, we made it to zone three on regular mode(and has a good laugh at our “continue” screen, hah!) It’s a fun new feature.

Fun. You know, what playing games is about? For those of you who don’t like it, it’s a free gift. You don’t have to play it.

Tixx would make the coolest villian ever. I’ll still be a fan!

The events are fine they way they are. They designed it so you can pick and choose in order to have fun your way. Surely there’s at least one activity you enjoy! The jumping puzzle was too easy this time. My b/f got it his first try, and it took me five because I’m bad at jumping. Compared to the Mad King’s Day puzzle which took at least thirty tries, this one is baby mode. They can’t keep making events easier and easier, because when you finally finish something, you won’t have that rewarded feeling anymore.
I don’t like every single activity, but there’s something for everyone.

I have no idea who his voice actor is, but I somewhat wish that male Asura could have his voice. The way he says “Mistletoe” is adorable, he sounds like he had too much “eggnog” if you know what I mean.

I love it. It reminds me of Sailor Moon and makes my girly characters have a little extra sparkle. I still want Bifrost, but this pretty thing will hold me over until that day comes.

That would be a nice touch, yeah. I got the wand earlier and only recently noticed that the dolls carry that wand. Too bad the character the doll is for uses a staff instead of a scepter. I wish we could have an army of them follow us around!

I have no idea what you’re talking about. The dress is gorgeous, especially the skirt. I saved up for a month because I just knew there would be a pretty dress this time of year. The detail they put into it is amazing, even the snowflake details look sparkly and ornate. It looks like something an upper class lovely lady would wear, and I’m proud to own it.

Thank you Anet for the adorable design of the Princess Doll. I’m unable to do dungeons so my super sweet b/f helped me save up to buy one! She’s just the cutest thing. I love that she has no face so I can just imagine what her expression is. I also love her gorgeous red dress. I wish I could wear it!

I’ve found that they die easiest from ground targeting. I leave rings of fire and stack it with poison. Anything with a large surface space to include them all. You’re still going to have a hard time, but not completely impossible. It also helps to use nearby mobs as a scapegoat. Do NOT kill nearby mobs before you open the present. The dolls will attack the mob, giving you an opening for attack.

I’ve stated I’m challenged because I have a handicap. That should have been clear. I’m not going to divulge my diagnosis. The reason this isn’t even relevant is that people are assuming that when someone says I have problems with _ because my my _______., they are something as ridiculous as physically unfit and need to “go out and exercise”, leaving the game to hardcore players exclusively. When someone asks for help because of challenges, the default shouldn’t be, “medical records or it didn’t happen”. Am I one of the few that thinks this inappropriate?

I will start by saying that I’m sorry people have been cruel to you in game. To be honest, this is the first community that has truly been nice to me, so perhaps I look at this game with rose tinted glasses at times. I wasn’t asking for your diagnosis. I feel you came into this forum(at least this thread) with your guard up, ready to fight anyone when all I’ve seen are people confused or expressing concern.

Knowing all too well of that dismissive behavior in the real world, I can empathize with your frustration. People tend to chalk up a physical or mental limitation to something that can be fixed by “trying harder”, or in your case, being more “physically fit”. You shouldn’t have to bring up your handicap to people who question how well you play the game. If people bother you again, just say “I’m not very good at this yet.” and leave it at that.

If you need help with something, just say “Could someone lend a hand?” There’s always someone around who can spare a few minutes to help someone in need. I’ve needed help before and I’ve given help before. Please don’t feel like you cannot ask for help because of a few elitist players.

I’m trying to understand your concern. How exactly are people bashing you for your handicap unless you are telling them you have one? From what I’ve read, you are not willing to discuss what your handicap is, so I can assume you are a private person. How do they know, then? As someone with my own limitations, I haven’t witnessed this behavior yet so I guess I’m in the dark right now.

My first “wow” moment was building my first snowman! Hardly anyone was online yet in LA so it had a very calm atmosphere. For a whole two minutes I took a little stroll around the town and admired the snow…then saw the build-a-snowman spot and got super excited!
My second “wow” was finding my first present box. I mean, have you seen the comparison against an Asura? I could live in that box!

I’d love to see one! I’m getting excited picturing a tiny porcelain doll following around my tiny Asura. So cute.

We DID HAVE MANY “thank you Anet” posts this morning….
…then we found out about the RNG minis in the boxes and after that they told usa that we can make only 2 out of 5 dungeon minis,
But be happy! We can always buy the other 3 for a mere 350 gems each! Wonderfull, totally cheap!!!!!1111!!111111!!

So earn them. 7g is about 350 gems. You have until January 3rd to at least buy one of them, or ya’know, you could just cuddle your two free mini pets.

I love this event and I’m thankful to all the hard work that went into it. You don’t have to spend a dime to enjoy Wintersday. The economy is rough for a lot of people, not to mention the holidays are about buying gifts for others. I had no cash to spend on gems this time. I knew I wouldn’t have extra fun money, so I saved up gold for one month to afford the fancy Wintersday outfit, the earmuffs and made a little extra gold today because I’m saving for one of the mini pets. The whole “We should have everything handed to us for free” whining has got to stop. Exactly how is anything NOT free? They take in game gold to trade for gem shop currency! Sheesh…
Plus, two of the new holiday minis can be made with ingredients found in the dungeon. I don’t honestly know how more accommodating they can get. The activities(especially the jumping puzzle and bell choir!) are really fun, and even hunting down those presents is a blast. Mad King’s Day was also fun for me, and I’m looking forward to the next big holiday!
