Guild Wars 2

So as a guardian noob, what would the playstyle for this type of build be like? What type of role would you fill in WVW? Thanks

I was curious if there was a build that would be decent in both of these for a freshly 80 guardian. Can excel at one or the other but Id like to be able to not have to switch gear and traits etc while Im still gearing up and poor. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I am considering deleting my toons to transfer to SBI, getting bored with my warrior anyways lol, my only 80 toon and only one above 20

Im trying to create a good holy knight/avenger type build. One that can take a hit but can also do a decent amount of damage. Im hoping to find a good balanced build that can do well in pve and WvW. I enjoy how Sw/Sh and GS feel. Ill also carry a sceptre prolly for when ranged is just straight up better.

If any of you experienced Guards out there can give me advice on how I can improve this build. I

I think giving each player their own stack of 25 or maybe even 20 would solve allot of problems. Then adjusting the Dmg per tuck to make them do close to the same dmg as a direct damage build.

Eldarion, what stats are you running on armor, and what runes/sigils? Im looking for a build like this as it seems it would work decently in PVP as well.

Cavalier/Zerk IMO gives best dps/defense ratio, especially for hammer builds that use unsuspecting foe. Hitting stunned targets literally means getting 50% crit chance
~1050 precisions for free (1% is about 21 or so precision). Also since obtaining perma fury for warriors is so easy, and with highest base health, a full zerk would lose to a cavalier/zerk geared warrior.

almost 39% dmg reduction while still getting 50% consistent crit chance and 100% on earthshaker and shield bash (+ whatever attacks are done while opponent is still stunned). I two shotted a glass thief in WvW today (Earthshaker 5.6k crit, 6.4k crit on backbreaker). Ill get screenies next time >.>

I don’t understand you.
In another post, you clearly stated and showed builds that you said you were currently running.
Both had ascended Berserker trinkets.
Do you even play the builds or are you just passing off theorycrafting as what you’re doing?

Edit: Of course i didnt get accesories yet, but I plan to aim for full cavalier trinkets.

And the only trinkets where accessories berserker exotics cause they didn’t release the ascended versions yet.

All other trinket pieces in my other hammer builds where Ascended Cavalier…..

Was just curious if this is at all viable in any aspect of the game now? I guess Yojack quit playing so is there any theorycrafters or warhorn users that could give me some insight into this poor unloved weapon? I never see anyone with one and Id be interested in it if its viable at all, due to its nice utility/mobility and looks.

Here is my norn Warrior, changed from male to female so I need a name change if they add that option hehe. Was going for a Golden Valkyrie look. Its Tier 2 Norn Racial Heavy armor, pearl GS(ugly need a better skin). Colors are Illumination, Mithril and Wrath.

Im a new 80 so Im still working on more exotics etc so not sure if that will factor into anything.

I was trying to go with something that gave me good dmg and decent defenses. I tried out axe/axe and it was ok but I like the escapes on GS, plus the look. It fits my big norn Valkyrie type warrior

Any insights as to how I can improve this build? Thanks

Granted Im still only 15 but I cant seem to lvl very easily at all, I want to like the class and I do but if I get an add or something Im done for, Im trying to kite, dodge etc and switched to pistol/shield and I just dont know what else to do. Any advice or tips to help with leveling. Is this just my experience with engineer and do I just suck at it? etc etc lol
