Well the Problem is. This Thing is bugged. I had to unbug it to get Sign Cutting done. What I have done was: Getting on another Map. Quitting the Episode, activating Episode 13 and then activating Sign Cutting, then go to Tangled Depthes.

Had to do this a few times but finally it worked for me.

One thing to note, I suspect being in combat / being damaged while you reach the marks is what’s causing it to bug for some reason. I had issues with it until I decided to make sure all mobs were cleared before approaching the marks on the groun, then interacting with it like it says.

Well I guess I just have to send to support for a refund so I can buy Ultimate.

I imagine this is way more work than just an upgrade. extra character slot probably disappears, 4 beta characters go poof and my mastery progress with it.

Is there a way for me to upgrade my pre-purchase from Standard to Ultimate?
Do I have to get a refund then buy Ultimate?

I already have Standard HoT attached to my account for some time but now I want to get Ultimate instead. I’m aware that you can upgrade to Deluxe through the in-game Gem Store, but all I was able to find is that Ultimate can only be purchased through buy.guildwars2.com (which is where I bought standard to begin with).

• We have been a fairly relaxed and sociable guild, not very large but most members have become friends and been on a name basis. We would like to get back into more guild-focused content (guild missions, upcoming guild halls, etc.) but due to people taking breaks to accomplish real life goals, we need more people again.
• All are welcome as long as you are polite! We have members who have been around all 3 years and some how just started playing weeks ago, members are often knowledgeable and friendly, willing to lend a hand to anyone.

The Cultural Armor achievements all require you to buy a full set of Tier 1, 2, and 3. This is to prevent a person from buying Light, Medium, and Heavy Tier 1 and avoiding the cost of T3 altogether.

Look through your wardrobe for the missing piece. If you have perhaps all of tier 1 for armor weights but have never purchased a tier 1 head piece for any weights, that’d be your missing 18th item for the achievement.

So, I tried your suggested fix. it worked for about 30 seconds downloaded some of the patch then coherent ui crashed again. now im back to square one it wont even start anymore.

I’m just relogging for a new patch that came out ~1min ago, perhaps give it another shot now?

I had a similar crash today – I found the following fixed it for me (on Windows 7 64-bit):

1. Create a new shortcut to the GW2.exe executable
2. Right click the shortcut and click “Properties”, then click the “Shortcut” tab at the top
3. At the end of the “Target” box (after the existing text and after the closing speech mark) add the following, replacing the <> bits with the appropriate text:
-email <your account email address> -password <your password> -nopatchui
4. Click Apply, OK, then double click the shortcut to launch GW2

For me this seemed to skip whatever part of the launcher screen was crashing, hope it works!

Edit: Once you’re in, don’t open the trading post, or you will crash! If you don’t open it you should be fine

That has worked for me as well, thank-you for the tip. Windows 7 64bit as well, running on a MacBook Pro through Bootcamp.

I added those lines to my existing shortcut, so now is shows:

“C:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -mapLoadInfo -email*****@gmail.com -password******* -nopatchui

It works fine while I still have my loading screen info/timer on. Make sure to have spaces between each part you add.

I enjoy collecting things, to an extent.

It’d be very nice if we could get some visual representation of our own collections. If you could have you partial or full spoon collection on display in your home instance (or preferably in some player housing some day). Or perhaps you box of spoons can be taken out to show people, and you put it down and friends can interact with it to look at the whole spoon collection and mouse over or click on them to see information about that spoon.

It would be very convenient to have the option of converting fractal relics back and forth between pristine/regular, however it would go against the purpose of having a second currency completely. There is no reason to have items exclusive to Pristine relics that can only be obtained through daily fractal rewards if you could simply be buying multiples per day with the relics you receive during any run, daily or not. In lieu of that, perhaps adding the Pristine Fractal Relics to the collections page of our bank would be more suitable. We could still collect them for any ring purchases or new recipes that require them, or consume them if you were in need of more regular fractal relics.

I was a little shocked when the latest episode was released and I discovered I needed 5 Pristine Fractal Relics. I collected most of mine and kept them in the bank for a long time, I had nearly 150 of them up until a few days prior to the episode’s release; I had finally decided to just consume them all and turn them into regular fractal relics, coincidentally just before I needed them.

It wasn’t a huge issue, it only took me 2 days to get the 5 I needed, I just did a few extra daily fractals in lower reward brackets.

I like the mini pet sot idea more than any idea involving a tab of all mini’s (if it’s done any way like WoW, I’d have to consume the mini and it would no longer have any resale value).

I much prefer the current salutes to any military salute, and if you’ve seen any salutes in the fantasy genre, they’re just like we have in GW2.

Similar to the Hall of Monuments Portal Stone, an item players could have and use to freely portal to their racial home city (or home instance, or future player housing).

This item would also be tied into race & creation choices, similar to these possible ideas:

• Sylvari could have something based on the cycle they awoke in, perhaps a colored leaf.
• Asura could have something related to the college they are a part of.
• Charr would carry a mark of the legion they belong to.
• Humans could have something relating to either their upbringing (noble, commoner, street rat) or based off which of the God’s they were “blessed by”.
• Norn might carry a small totem of the spirit that was in their vision as a child.

This would bring a more personal touch to each characters item they use to portal home, something I think is lacking a fair bit with so much non-personalized content.

With an item like this, people like myself would be slightly more inclined to go to the cities I like rather than Lions Arch. As of right now, it’s just inconvenient to go to anywhere but Lions Arch since traveling through the Heart of the Mists or WvW take me to Lions Arch and it’s a waste of time to then go through an Asura Gate from there when the other cities don’t even have a Forge.

Transmutation stones? Go map complete and you’re rolling around in piles of them.

Transmutation crystals? Sorry to hear, enjoy crying yourself to sleep for a while.

If what Inculpatus cedo is true, to get past an automated bot, go with that. I’ve seen several people make this same kitten mistake (no change to prevent it by ArenaNet though) but they’ve all been refunded their gems.

A sudden change in policy to not offer refunds for this particular ongoing issue should not be the case. They could save themselves some tickets and complaints if they resolved this debacle already.

As I’m currently restocking on my Hylek Hue Potions, I’m getting exhausted like I was when purchasing Obsidian Shards long ago; why can we not simply purchase items in larger quantities?

Here’s a real example, to craft a single Beaded weapon, you would need 75 Sun Beads; that’s you sitting there clicking “Buy” 75 times, per weapon you want to make.

I strongly feel that there should be an option, perhaps ALT+click (alt+click and drag is the current method to separate stacks), to purchase vendor items in bulk. From there, a similar popup could appear as if you were splitting a stack, where you can put in the number you want to buy (it can even cap at 250 like the Black Lion Trading Post enjoys to do).

It would be greatly appreciated, I don’t want to go outside of the game to get some clicking macro and possibly get banned for not wanting RSI, I just want to buy lots of stuff like Hylek Hue pots and Baby Quaggan tonics.
