It has to be a bug.

There is no way they would alter one of the critical features of the game without making any announcement on it.

Yeah, i genuinely do. But if it turns out its not a bug, then that will change somewhat. Am still expecting it to be a bug.

I suspect it’s not a bug but it wasn’t supposed to be included in this update. They often have several builds going at the same time. It’s easy to have something like this happen, particularly while understaffed and key people being at shows.

Happens almost every patch in quite a few cases.

And I like the change, and I doubt it’s a bug. It addresses teh whole “dungeons are just stack and press 1 in zerk gear and kill things before they can kill you” talk. At least now you’ll actually have to stack might and think about what you’re doing to blow up low level dungeons.

The bigger concern is one I truly think and hope is a bug, and that’s the mismatch between effect ranges and animations. Apparently for example Brie’s beam attack now hits well outside the animation, before you could be right next to the beam, let it brush your hair, and still be ok, now apparently that’s taking it tot he face. Sureshot Seamus is another what used to be about a 90degree cone iirc is now apparently 180. Pretty big changes, wouldn’t be so terrible if they’d adjust the animations, but without animations matching effects it’s pretty lame.

why i can’t understand is “why nerfing old content” who players just do to get gold? if Anet need a more challenger DGs, make new paths like aether pirates in TA, and make the drop on this dungeons more attractive (maybe dropping ascendant gears) nerf this currents DGs only will exclude much more low lvl people who want to do DGs.
PS: the mechanic not change all play still stak and kill the mobs before die, but fragile class like tief and ele just become unplayable.
Pss: might was nerfed in the last update (35 to 30).

i think now is time to go, they nerf and change so many things in this game who i can’t feel i play GW2, first they nerf cond. now nerf zec, classes like necro are useless now, tief are killed with one hit of an boss in DGs.
TY Anet you can make me leave this game.

How play against warrior?

i have one of each class lvl 80, main thief d/p + SB, i burst warr but on 25% he become imune (6 seg with trait), then he heal 10-12k, block and stum, if he stum me my hp just desapir.
when i play with my warr i hit 26k+ with hammer + GS, just jump with earthquake (4k damage 3 seg stum +20% all damage) hundred blade(22k in 3seg), and all play in this area just die.

How play against warrior?

Impossible kill warrior except all 5 play hit him. they have the best HP on game and the best armor bonus, passive immune against conditions passive god mod, 8+ sec CC AOE with hammer, passive 100% critical chance amd best one hit damage, can run away like no other, best healing skill of the game (10-12k).
why not change the game name to Guild Warrior?

every change Anet do, make this game death, the trait system make so many new plays of my guild leave the game before lvl 70 because it’s not fun, like new daily system, 3/4 of a content you play, with very specifically events, is not fun.
i think daily was part of game, before i do 3-4 daily on 1 TEQ event, if you doubts the game is death for new players, just try to buy low lvl materias on TP, they’re absurd more expensive than dnd content materials, it happened because we not have new players on the game (not like before).

no one, with the new trait system, leveling in GW2 is really not fun, luck i have 1 of each class lvl80 before change.

This change just kill the game
with just 3 gold you can get all your traits and be able to make countless builds, now you want 50+ gold and 130+ skill points, it really not fun. Run away through the map to do a event only for a trai, it only do the character uniformize, all character of X class only use X>X>X> build.
About some week, 2 IRL friends start play GW2 and both leave the game, i can’t understand what happened with they, but i decided leveling my 9° character, and when i reach lvl36 (before you star build in lvl10) “surprise” i cant have any one trat to distribu.
The game is death and this system never attract new players because it’s just not fun.

i like TEQ’s fight but so many people are AFK, and the guest prevents me to participate of my own server (BlackGate). so many people is literally carried on the olverflow.
– I think this fight would much better if it were a RAID “stance” (like 25-40 man).
