I’ve recently been inspired by this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9R3BMkFQFC0 of an elementalist contributing to a very fast run in CoF. Whilst the build is largely a mystery (apart from going 30/30/10/0/0 according to this thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/elementalist/How-to-play-ele-for-speed-p1-farm).
I have tried running this build:
http://www.guildhead.com/skill-calc#mzsMz9Mz0MxMmmMxMmm0p0pGokmozV
Wearing full berserker with scholar runes, sigil of battle mainhand and sigil of force/bloodlust/smothering on offhand, swapping some utilities as necessary, it deals a great deal of damage (http://i46.tinypic.com/o9poq8.jpg). However, it struggles for survivability and consistent damage against the last boss of cof p1 (where I say survivability, I am not saying that I am dead, but that I have to stop dealing damage to heal or remove conditions etc, which is not ideal). It also focusses on big hits, so I need some thoughts on how to make a nice and high sustained damage version.
Case in point, I am wondering what other full berserker elementalists do for speed running these dungeons for cash.
Phira, would you mind asking your elementalist (in the video) their build? I have tried a few things, but am not sure I am quite reaching the same dps.
(I understand the +charges for conjure weapons for example)
I’m sure that this has been our most effective tool in assaulting keep/tower doors for a while now, but perhaps this will enlighten other elementalists.
Hi, I was having this problem, and tried all the solutions listed on the official FAQ
I found this solution:
1. Press and hold the Windows key and then hit the R key. This should bring up the Run dialog box.
2. Type “MSCONFIG” without the quotes, and click “OK.” This should open the System Configuration Utility.
3. Click on the “Services” tab and check the “Hide All Microsoft Services” check box near the bottom, then click the “Disable All” button. (You MUST click “Hide all Microsoft Services”)
4. Next go to the “Startup” tab and click the “Disable All” button.
5. Once these items are all disabled, click the “OK” button and you will get a prompt to restart your computer. Please restart your computer.
Worked for me
