Gaile could you please clear this up

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Inadequate-amount-of-blooms-sent/first#post5491152

tl;dr I did 2 broken maps, got nothing, today got the 40 from the map dailies, but the other 20 I earned were not included.

Support wasn’t helpful at all, I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on this gems, have 3 accounts and 2 Heart Of Thorns purchases. To be basically told “you’re out of luck we aren’t going to help” by a GM is very, very disappointing.

Inadequate amount of blooms sent.

Yeah I didn’t get any, we did 2 maps, got at least 15-20 stacks in each, after getting nothing the 2nd time we went and did a fractal.

40 from the 2 dailies it looks like, guess they forgot the others.

Thanks for the 15 blooms.

Same, I got 40 when I earned 60, now 20 short of buying what I farmed for, for like.. 40hrs.

So, GM Shasim suggested I post here, after a few unsatisfactory emails(fast at least, I’ll give you that)

I received 40 mordrem blooms in the mail, I was owed/entitled to/earned/worked for 60, 20 from the 2 maps I bothered doing, plus 10 from each for events, I received none of this and was assured that I’d receive them “in the coming days” so I stopped farming, I’m already clinically depressed and this event isn’t the most stimulating thing.

Now, if I was given the 60 I’m owed, this post wouldn’t exist, I’d be wearing the thoughtless potion I missed out on during LS2, but no.. I have 430/450, I’m 20 blooms short due to Arenanets error.

Since the patch earlier today, Thoughtless potion horns will always face one direction, swivelling on your head. Is it like this for everyone?

Mini Twisted Nightmare: No walk animation

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Noticed today, the Mini Twisted Nightmare no longer has a walk animation. Before you could toggle walk, and it would walk slowly alongside you, looked really cool and as far as I know, was the only mini to do this.

Now it just runs to catch up, stops, then runs to catch up again, stops, runs, etc

Any word of this being a bug, or was the bug actually it having a walk animation?

Is the community getting toxicated?

Every game with PvP is like that, Guild Wars is no different, I would go as far to say that GW2 has one of the nicer pvp communities out there.

The expensive ones now, were drops from BL chests and Mad King chests, you could also buy temporary versions of some with candy corn IIRC, some were dropped as recipes and had to be crafted.

I spent maybe.. $100 on keys that year, didn’t get any, later bought them for several thousand gold/2000 hours of casual gold saving.

I sincerely hope they aren’t coming back, as much as it sucks for people who weren’t around, they’re still available and are IMO one of the few skins in the game that make me smile every time.

Straight from the Ghastly Grinning Shield wiki:

This weapon skin is no longer available during Halloween. The skin was released during Halloween 2012, and was announced to have been the last chance to obtain the skin during the Shadow of the Mad King release.

Edit: You’re probably right though, recently it has become clear that money is the only deciding factor, not players or logic.

If they do come back I will most likely quit playing.
I grinded on and off for months and months to get enough gold to buy some of them.
Bought the scythe back when it was 100g, which was a lot of gold back then, bought 2 chain swords and the rifle a month or so later, bought a greatsaw about 6 months ago.

Please arenanet, leave what is imo, the most rare and prestigious skins in the game alone, they were originally “advertised” as a one-off event drop after all.

Very disappointing news for you guys

How difficult would it be to add some older stuff back in, perhaps as fractals?

Example, The Mad King Realm from halloween 2012, Kessex Toxic Tower, Clocktower, SAB, Queens Pavilion etc. Even recycle some current dungeon encounters into shorter fractals, Lupi fractal anyone?

There’s a multitude of content already in-game that simple needs to be re-enabled right?

If none of that is possible or falls outside the current Living Story requirements. How about a reward pool for dungeons, instead of getting 1 gold for completion, the entire party will get 5 gold, or 10 gold, split up between them. People who are good enough to solo or duo dungeons will then get more rewards for their harder work, a new party system would obviously have to come with this to avoid people kicking for more gold.
Dungeon “gambits” Like the Queens Gauntlet, each gambit will increase/decrease rewards and difficulty

Please.. long dialogue sequences

I speak for myself here, but I know plenty of other people who feel the same way.
Anyway, In recent Living Story episodes, there have been so many looooooong boring dialogue sequences between NPC’s.

The new LS achievement and reward system does not help, in order to get all the achievements and rewards for each episode, we’re forced to go through it 3, maybe 4 times.. with the same loooong unskippable dialogues and cutscenes.

Is this a tactical decision to get(force) people to spend more time doing the living story, to justify Arenanets obsession with it? (stats say it’s popular right? not dungeons that hundreds of people do every single day)

I’ve been playing pretty much every day since beta, I’m just getting upset that it’s becoming an entirely different game.

AFAIK a GM gave 2 of them out by accident to players, and seeing as Arenanet are unable to take items from players inventories, they’re still out there.. probably gathering dust in an unused account, or a banned accounts bank.

Major audio stuttering, help please.

Hey all, i’ll get right to the point.

Lately I’ve started using voice comms with a new guild, it was fine and dandy, then the game audio started randomly stuttering, random as in.. i could play for 3 hours without it, or it would happen 5mins after logging in.
A system restart usually fixes it, but only until it happens again.

It happened with Mumble
It happens with Raidcall
I’ve been using Teamspeak when playing other games like Rust lately, and it doesn’t happen.
I have updated my integrated audio and GPU drivers. GW2 onto an SSD, PC runs pretty cool and is not full of dust.
Game usually runs at a solid 60fps with most settings topped out, but when the stuttering is happening it slows to a crawl, this persists if i close down the game.

Has anyone else ever had this happen? I’d love to hear from anyone with any advice on what I should do to try and fix it.

Video of it in action, sorry for the low quality, I wanted a small file size to try and get this sorted a little sooner.

Thanks
Love, Fuzzy
