1) given how gw2 works, we will propably never do that. It would break the game for the newcoming players. Most old maps are frozen in time for them.

Imagine that you went to orr, expecting to find Zhaitans wasteland and suddedly come into lush greenlands with people on map chat saying “lol, you came too late, all is gud now”

What I’d like to see is for them to give us a reason to visit one of the parts of Orr that is currently uncharted – possibly the space between Arah and Malchor’s Leap. They could open up the gate at Bayt Fallahin for players with the relevant expansion, for instance, and make it a zone transition. They could then use that zone to show us what Orr has become since Zhaitan’s fall without spoiling it for players who haven’t gone through the personal story yet.

Yea this is my hope for Orr as well. Keep the 3 maps we already have as they are, but implement new Orr maps of a cleansed land, with metas similar to HoT (I’m imagining something along the lines of a meta where you fight several leftover Orr commanders to cleanse a city, and then defend it against their attempts to retake it. Keeps the theme of the Orr temple events as well). Best part is that lorewise we now have a way to do this

It would break the personal Story yes, so that would have to be reworked but there are ways around this. We do have Taimi’s and moto’s Sim machine now. why couldn’t the cleansing of Orr be a sim? They could put the old Personal Story/Orr maps into the Mists like the fractals, because those are lost in time now as well. Make is like a dream sequence or something (Bob Newhart show Finale). Also the model of GW2 does allow the change of this but it may be future expacks, but right now the Base game is Free to play and Free players only have to pay for the latest expack (Heart of thorns). So when there is another expack, They will probably follow this model based on what Mike O’Brian said when Heart of Thorns came out. though this also all depends on how much content the future expacks have.

Like the other people have suggested as well there still is 3/4 of the Orr landmass that is not accessable. we could cleanse that side first and then when couple of expacks go thru they could cleanse the rest

We would still Face the Dragons, probably after the Chalk Weapon would be made, just the order would be different. That is all. Nothing would be lost

Okay so, after this last release of the LS, I have noticed a Few things

1) Now that Taimi has discovered what the Chalk Glad does, this gives way for the Devs to retake Orr from the Risen.This could be done by either developing a Weapon (also used to fight the other dragons) or calibrating the Waypoints to filter out Death magics going into Orr. I could see the Devs going zone by zone, cleaning the Risen, and retaking Orr once and for all. Maybe even making this the new Home of the pact since they have that large base in the Straights of Devastaion.

Speaking of a Weapon to fight the dragons. Now since the Chalk Glad can filter Death Magics there is probably away for it to filter out Mordemoths’s Magic as well to strip Primordus’ Minions of their new found abilities. This also leads me to point 2

2) Now that Primordus and Jormag are now active, it would be interesting to see if the Devs allowed the players some control as to which Dragon we fight next. Kinda like the voting system for the new captain in Lion’s Arch. Not sure how it would work, maybe make it a Simulation thru Taimi & Moto’s Chamber. Depending on how many times either Primordus or Jormag’s Simulation’s were beat, that Dragon would be the first to be fought in the LS (or Expack)

3) SUPER SPOILERS After watching the Protection of Glint’s egg, it occurred to me that Marjory is not over her sister’s death and the reason she wants to follow Lazarus is to find a way to bring her sister back from the dead. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t do this trope, it’s old and annoying. if you do plan on doing it, I can see a few ways of doing. the two most notable are that we have to fight and possible kill Marjory and the other is Kasmeer comes to the rescue and knocks some sense into Marjory before she goes off the deep end.

Scrolls of Experience that lvl your character to lvl 20.. these do not stack from year to year.. I have 3 stacks of 5-6 scrolls each stack is from a Different Anniversary Year

Just downed Shatterer and got this Achievement. supposedly a NA First GRATS To all that were there. Thanks to Laffytaffy for leading

Ran 2 groups with the “buff” on and did not get credit for this achievement. 1st time I was down but still had buff. Second time no problems at all. a non leader party member did get Credit though as well so no clue what’s causing this not to appear for me.

never mind I had to solo it to get Credit

it’s not a bug if I read https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Toypocalypse-and-Parties/first#post4629456 right. it’s the way activities are set. if for some reason you fail to defend the Dolyaks I think the timer just keeps going till the activity resets. WORSE CHANGE. Hopefully you can fix this for next year as it can’t be fixed this year according to the lead Designer on it

This is by Far the Worse change have I seen in this game so far. 4 times already I have run into the instance expecting to do something but since the instance failed we had to sit there for 20 mins till the zone reset or leave and try to find an active one. please change back to Group

These are my two screen. both are Prime Light beams didn not shot up on the Ground and just randomly hit me

I have tried for this Achievement twice at different times and I watch my combat log while I am Running around avoiding the supposed only place the cannon is showing it will fire but I get hit by a phantom Shot

It would not let me get the White Buff. every time I stepped onto the Colors, the previous color would disappear even though it say I had plenty of time on the buff to get all 3.
Went to blue, got blue
Went to Red, got Red lost Blue
Went to Green, got Green lost Red
and vice versa

not sure if I should have gotten in tune but I know I ever got hit with the Laser cannon or it’s Residue but didn’t get achievement for no more Tricks

Same in an overflow about about 15 mins left in the encounter she bugged out at her health being 25%

has not been working since living story update. My group did fractals before and after the daily reset and my friend didn’t get the previous Fractal Daily either

Since this Weekend, I have been unable to use the Currency Exchange when I first open up the panel. I have hop icon to be able to select Gold or Gems otherwise they are unresponsive.

Today I can’t sell anything without waiting long periods of time before the Grey box that lets me select if I want to meet the highest Buyer/match lowest seller/or Customize finally gives those options otherwise it is just blank.

when I do finally get to sell something it sits on the selling or it comes back Error attempting to sell

I can see the less unique but as far only upsetting people that got it not so much.

The item would only be unlocked if you Achieved that achievement (The Dragon Bash Experience). A new player would still not have access to it, unless like you mentioned, the living world was to repeat, like SAB. The uniqueness would still be there and the pride of getting that item would still be there just on different character on that account.

now since there is unlimited unlocked Rewards for certain achievement point milestones (The Zenith Skins and Radiant/Hellfire), is there a way to add the living story Items to the unlimited unlocked rewards?

I have completed the dragon bash shattered wings and SAB 1&2 backpacks but I have not used the skins yet as I don’t know which character I want to use them on. I may want them all on one character on different pieces of gear for different specs. I may decide that I like a different class better and start playing that class, unless I put the cover on an Account bound item, I won’t be able to use it on the new character
