Guild Wars 2

I realise that a lot of these threads have been created but I wondered if anyone could help me with the issue, I also noticed that the threads I looked at were over 1 year old.

I would just like to also say when the screen goes black I still see the Gw2 cursor, like many others have experienced, I am also able to move it. I am also able to hear the sound of Gw2.

So basically what happens is…
1.I log into Gw2 (sometimes I get an error message like “Guild Wars 2 has encounter an error” “The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time.”
2. If I have managed to log in, I would obviously go straight into character select. At this point I sometimes have an error where I can click “play” or double click on the character I want to play and the “play” button turns grey as if its going to lose and then would lose connection to the server.

So at this point, I presume its my internet since my internet has been acting up but then I don’t disconnect from Teamspeak when the event happens. I would like to confirm if it is the issue. I don’t believe it to be my Rig.

If you need any readings or something I would happily give them (If I knew how too, so you may need to “walk me through it” as I am terrible with PC’s… and yet I play on them ;-;

Please help me, I’m running out of ideas and I really wanna play Gw2, I miss WvW a lot.

OK so I play WvW a lot, I have plenty of ranks and nothing to spend it on, now they plan on removing things to spend ranks on. For the people who love playing wvw this is a really bad thing. I have now been given even more to spend on nothing. I haven’t read up much on this topic but they shouldn’t be removing things, they should be adding more.

They may want to attract more people to wvw but this isn’t the way.

The new maps is a way, another way to get more people in would be not just adding one map, but adding 3 maps, desert map for red borderland, snow map for blue borderland, tropical map for green borderland. And a mixture of all 3 maps meeting at stone mist which could change depending on who owns it. This would make me so happy and would certainly Encourage me to play. People want new things to keep them interested or the wvw Veterans will get bored and leave, karma trains and zerg will be what will happen. Small scale groups on skilled fighters will leave because there’s nothing left to achieve. This will happen, guild wars 2 has the best pvp in almost any mmo and arenanet is leaving it alone. Why would anyone leave such a prized part of their game alone.

My client’s got some connection issues and started flickering. After closing and reopening, it patched normally up to 99% complete (all 1GB and 10000 files), but then started getting red-text connection issues and flickering all over again.

I restarted my computer, tried again, and now I’m downloading at as measly 0.1mb/s, with “1 file remaining” at 0% complete. It might get to 15-20mb complete at 0% still, before flickering with a red connection-lost message again.

Could somebody please fire some suggestions by way?

I have the exact problem :/ Hopefully fixed soon. Might try restarting router if no one gives suggestion and see if that works.

I’ve been on 1% since 10 mins after the patch went live… I closed Gw2, I turned my Pc off and back on… Intensely annoying since i’m on ts and my friends are saying its so cool and they’re sending 1st person views D;

1 file remaining… Just wow…

But seriously, that is the whole point to get map completion, heck it is really the only “legendary” thing about making a legendary. Being able to say that you covered all of Tyria on your way to making a legendary is a good thing.

Very well said and I feel sorry for ya It’s harder for you out of all of us, I do Purely WvW but had too torture myself with PvE content and now have too grind too get money for the legendary… If you are or want too get a legendary, good luck!

Okay, I get why some people hate WvW but some people who do WvW hate PvE, I recently completed map completion and my last vista and last thing too get was in the inner of Stormbluff Isles Garrison, I got it eventually with patience and a golem rush… BUT the point I wanna make is, The reason too why they may have map completion including WvW is too perhaps attract people there too actually keep people playing WvW. Also its not fair if you have too do PvE content only too get a legendary, I play WvW maybe there should be a way too make different legendarys or different skins for PvE and WvW legendaries… I don’t know, but I would quit moaning about it, it won’t happen soon.

Okay so my Issue is that I have two errors, When I log into Gw2 I either get stuck on the character screen and can’t select the character I want too play so I have too close Gw2 and restart and sometimes fails too start.
Second Issue is that when I do get into my character I start playing doing my usual things, For example as of lately leveling a few characters in WvW or Eotm, I was trying too join in a WvW raid yet I kept crashing so could never enter WvW. So it was a terrible WvW reset for me.

Okay so my guild leader is complaining and now says he’s gonna leave gw2 because his trading post won’t work and he can’t make money, If anyone can suggest a fix I will be grateful, Thanks.

Ps, He says it has a “warning Issue” Or something, Please Anet, fix it… We need him for our WvW raids…

I’m looking for a WvW guild that is on an EU server, That doesn’t mind paying transfer fee, I would like the Guild to be Higher than Blacktide and fairly active in WvW.

Is there a backpiece with Power, crit damage and vitality if so please help me by telling me what it is and where I could find it, thanks

A guy from BT here :O Next time you see a guy on a pillar in SM maybe dance with them? Not kill them, I even tried joining a party and you killed me, I even asked kindly!

If there is a way to see population please say but until then I shall put this post here, Can you put whilst selecting what server you may want to transfer to or guest on have the actual (how many people are on at that time )population at the time, Me and many people i’m sure would really like it, We could then see if a server is high population or just have many people having it as their home server.

Get on WvW Blacktide Please go on WvW, We have a High population but have a low place on WvW, I believe the problem is that not enough people go on it, We struggle to get a zerg on eternal battleground never mind our own border.
