Spectator mode is ok, switching teams is not ok. The autobalance is exploited all the time, hotjoin should have the same rules as ranked WITHOUT the rank modify, probably switch skills/traits also, but by any means you shouldn’t quit rage or switch teams in the middle of the match.

Thank god for that fix ( I dont consider it a nerf). The bird life was totally unbalanced and too many players exploited that in so many unfair ways.

A good player in exotics against a bad player in ascended should be fine. A good player in exotics against an equally good player in ascended would lose, yes, but who says you need 12 characters in ascended to have fun in wvw? Because at most you need 8 and you probably only need 1-3 if you have no real main class. You probably have 1-3 characters you mainly play in wvw, so sure, gear away if losing 5% of the one on one duels you have (if you’re a good player, which I’m assuming because I’m nice) really matters that much gold to you.

Sorry but you dont get the point of the post, probably you are fine playing with 1 build and 1 style ALL the time, and thats fine, but a large portion of the gamer population want to experiment, get better with several builds, classes and playstyles, and for those is really punishing have to wait 30 natural days for get a set with the stats they need/want, is just too much.

You cant reward the same those who invest 15 hours in the game with those who enter 30 min daily to just get the dailies done, is just not fair.

My point is valid. It is literally the only place you need ascended gear. There is almost no chance of anyone playing high level fractals with more than a couple characters, and I would posit no chance of anyone doing it with 12.

And what about wvw? GW2 is not just about fractals, some of us want to have better performance in ALL the game, dungeons, wvw, pve events (like tequatl).

Sorry but theres more out there than fractals… And 30 laurels per set is too much, not logic and is ruining the gaming experience for those who invest more time on it, period.

First of all, I have 12 chars at 80, I love to play different classes because I get bored quickly just playing one, I have 6 of them with several ascended items (weapons, accesories)

I prepared for this update with so much anticipation, had materials to level 2 armor crafting professions to 500. But suddenly I check the cost of the recipes and is 5 laurels + 3 gold for EACH piece of armor, this is too much Anet…

For those with several characters, for those who invest in experimenting with different builds have to wait 30 days for EACH set of armor is just excesive, Anet you are punishing the players who invest more hours in your game, by forcing to wait natural days to get laurels to buy the recipes.

This is enough reason to think about leaving the game.

This match would be incredible with a YB that had 20% or so less WvWers. Good fights but everywhere I turn there is a giant horde of YB running around. Love the EBay skill and YB coordination but dislike those YB numbers. The simultaneous flip of all our keeps in our BL was impressive.

It is ironic that someone of BP complains at all about numbers, you have numbers, but your zergs are probably the weakest of all the silver league, half of the actual BP people in wvw are not 80. Your guilds should focus on gear and level all their people.

What to do with weeks like these? YB avoids taking EBay keeps. EBay tries to keep their side locked down. Much of BP doesn’t even show up… ughh… will be glad to be out of leagues and let the more populated servers rise up the ranks. Certainly better fights for all sides.

It was a bit painful to watch 25+ SE in BP BL North Camp portal bomb a half dozen players over and over. I suppose they got bored since BP isn’t running many open field fights these days, but still sad to see. My only suggestion would be to head over to EBay BL and take a keep.

If you really want to stretch it: SBI has way more casuals than anybody else that gladly jump on the bandwagon for wins but duck out by the week if they’re losing – especially if they have anything better to do. In which case be proud: your server is the most fickle server in terms of extremes.

It’s been an intense week, and SBI is definitely worthy of their position on the ladder… but its like SBI is insulted to be losing to YB… and no one respects a garbage attitude like that.

Unfortunately, I believe that to be true. I wish we could get people to show up, because that would make this week amazing, instead of just fun. Imagine if we were all fielding the same numbers at the same time, and our PPT was 1-5k apart? I know that with the unbalance on the servers that will probably never happen, but in the old days, those were always the best matchups.

I’m big on respect… anyone who runs with me or by my tag knows this..
Having said that… It IS still insulting to lose to yaks. BECAUSE SBI IS a better, stronger, more organized server. We not winning at the moment… But not because we didn’t open the week with a huge lead… not because of supply wasting trolls… definitely not because Yaks is better….
But because we are fielding 50% of what we normally do. EBG is almost ALWAYS a 1 hour que… there is no que.. SBI BL is normally QUED.. again.. no que.. The other 2 BL’s are normally medium que.. also… NO QUE.

We are missing ALOT of players. Yet still yaks wants to talk smack like they’ve beaten us straight up. They talk as if They have overcome the big RED SBI MACHINE.
They haven’t. They been beating up on pugs, militia and a handful of Die hard WvW guys.

So its nothing to be proud of but, by all means… brag away lol.

Map politics and 2v1s are part of the game, and if you want to do them to win it’s completely understandable. If you guys got the organization to pull off a consistent 2v1 you should do it and you’ve done it well, but don’t pat yourselves on the back for beating us and saying how much your server has improved when at the end of the day you are just a bunch of 2v1 tower huggers, and when you dare to come out of your tower it’s in blobs of 50-60 “guild groups” (I’m looking at you [One]/]SE]).

Says the server specialized in 1 blob zerg in every map and nothing else… Oh the irony…

Actually I believe that EB is the only place we do this regularly, most other maps have one main and at least 2 guild groups running.

Yes you have organization and some dedicated players, but I was on D for about 6 hours last night and can say I know you didn’t take anything in our corner but camps in EBG up until I logged at 2:30 this morning.

We keep SBI under +160 the whole night, camps, towers, keeps, doesn’t matter what, you lost all night.

All Dragonbrand NA crew should be ashamed, im not in DB anymore, was my first server and this is just sad and wrong.

correct our the remaining WvW guilds are not on to provide coverage. there are only a few of us left. most of the WvW guilds bandwagoned diff the servers …. like You! filthy bandwagoner. Your post is filled with hypocrisy, you are bad and you should feel bad!, cause you kinda smell bad too

Im just one guy and my son, and we transfered to YB to be with spanish talking people like us.

We figth many nigths for Dragonbrand even vs YB under MEX tag, and some people even call us spies, we just transfered to play WVW with our own people. I dont feel bad about it, I feel bad about those who claim be so loyal to a server and allow this kind of kitten happens :P

I’m really disappointed of Dragonbrand, seems my native server has lost all their past glory, now they are just a bunch of bronze zerg runners. I guess that is the price for receiving so many unloyal guilds.

So sad to see the ruins of a really great server.

In fact Dragonbrand is my native server, I transfered to YB because of MEX (my guild), and yes it is sad see DB in such a bad shape after almost being T1.

Anyhow, Im enjoying killing some bad and racist guilds of DB out there (you know who you are).
