Engineer: Deployable Turrets trait

Bump.

I sent a bug report about this trait within the first week of the game and it still isn’t fixed. This makes the Rocket and Healing turrets ground targetable in PvE. But it doesn’t work on Rifle, Flame, Thumper, or Net turrets. I stopped playing a full turret build because of these Turret bugs.

Level 80, Level up animation?

When you hit level 81 you gain another skill point and get de-leveled back to level 80. These extra skill points are used to create Legendary weapons and to buy Mystic Forge items such as Eldridge Scrolls. Therefore the level up animation after level 80 is still useful.

Video: "Extended Potion of Ghost Slaying" Bug

Hello there! (^_^)v

I would like to report a bug for the “Recipe: Extended Potion of Ghost Slaying” that can be purchased for 400 Ascalonian Tears from the Ascalonian Catacombs dungeon vendor located in the south section of Lion’s Arch.

Video submission (1080p with commentary) which shows the bug in extreme detail:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBiYN5j4oI8&feature=youtube_gdata

Bug:
Upon purchasing the “Recipe: Extended Potion of Ghost Slaying” you receive a new item in your inventory called “Recipe: Extended Potion of Ghost Slaying.” However, after you use this recipe and go to an Artificing Station this recipe does not appear in your list. Instead you have just learned a completely different recipe called “Extended Potion of Undead Slaying.”

I went to the Ascalonian Catacombs to test these Undead Slaying potions versus Ghosts and they did not increase my damage versus Ghosts nor did they reduce my damage taken from Ghosts. Therefore, Undead Slaying potions do not work on Ghosts (or Gravelings) in the Ascalonian Catacombs. They are meant to be used on the Undead in Orr (and Arah).

The entire point of purchasing the “Recipe: Extended Potion of Ghost Slaying” for 400 Ascalonian Tears is to increase your effectiveness in the Ascalonian Catacombs. However, this recipe ends up creating Undead Slaying potions which have no effect on any monsters in the Ascalonian Catacombs. I have now wasted 800 Ascalonian Tears trying to create Ghost Slaying potions that don’t work on Ghosts (and for the creation of this video.)

Thank you for your time. (^_^)/

(Side note: If submitting bug reports via video submissions is an acceptable format for you guys then I will do so from now on.)

100% World Completion bug?

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

The same thing happened to me. I got 100% in every single zone but no Gold Star or Gift of Exploration chest appeared. Then one day I decided to enter the Order of Whispers hideout in Bloodtide Coast (Deadend Waypoint) to see if there was a vendor that sold OoW gear. When I entered the hideout I got a Point of Interest I never had (which has nothing to do with 100%ing Bloodtide Coast) and my 100% World Completion chest finally appeared.

Good catches as well DungeonDaughter. These 8 vendors really need some patchwork done to them.

Issues with character art, weapons, or armor?

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Race: Norn
Sex: Male
Class: Warrior

Item: Flame Legion Breastplate
Type: Heavy Armor
Slot: Body
Level: 80
Rarity: Exotic
Found: Purchased for 330 Flame Legion Charr Carvings from the Citadel of Flame dungeon vendor in the southern section of Lion’s Arch.

Issue: This body piece does not connect properly to your waist. While wearing this breastplate you can actually see through your stomach like the top half of your body is floating in mid air. This becomes extremely noticeable when you start to run around. Also, you only see this from behind your character. Everything looks fine from the front.

I made a 1 minute youtube video showing the problem in detail (Is that ok? If not I’ll remove it and you can just check the pictures below.)

Pictures:
1. While wearing “Orian Legguards” (Level 80, Leggings, Exotic, Heavy Armor, from the Arah Dungeon Vendor in the south section of Lion’s Arch.)

2. While wearing no pants at all.

Dungeon Vendors (Multiple Bugs)

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

The dungeon vendors in the south section of Lion’s Arch have multiple issues that should be addressed:

1. The Caudecus’s Manor vendor allows you to buy Potions of Outlaw Slaying for 1 token. The Twilight Arbor vendor allows to buy Potions of Nightmare Court Slaying for 1 token. This holds true for 7/8 vendors. However, there are no Potions of Ghost Slaying available from the Ascalonian Catacomb vendor.

2. The Crucible of Eternity vendor is selling “Potion of Undead Slaying” for 1 token when they are suppose to be selling “Potion of Inquest Slaying” instead. This vendor also sells “Recipe: Extended Potion of Inquest Slaying” so it doesn’t make sense why they sell Undead Slaying potions. (Side note: The Arah Dungeon vendor currently sells Potions of Undead Slaying as well; which is the correct vendor.)

3. There is an inconsistency with the token cost amounts for the level 80 Exotic equipment pieces from the Ascalonian Catacombs:

All dungeons sell these level 80 exotic armor pieces for the following token amounts:
Head: 180
Gloves: 180
Boots: 180
Shoulders: 210
Legs: 300
Body: 330

However, the token costs for the Ascalonian Catacombs are:
Head: 180
Gloves: 180
Boots: 180
Shoulders: 160
Legs: 240
Body: 260

4. The Ascalonian Catacombs vendor sells “Recipe: Extended Potion of Ghost Slaying” for 400 Ascalonian Tears. However, when you use this recipe on your character it only lets you craft “Extended Potion of Undead Slaying.” It doesn’t give you the option to make “Extended Potion of Ghost Slaying” after using this recipe. (Side note: Undead Slaying Potions do NOT work on the Ghosts and Gravelings in the Ascalonian Catacombs.)

Additional Information:
Ghosts and Gravelings in the Ascalonian Catacombs count as “Ghosts” and not “Undead” however there is currently no way to obtain “Potions of Ghost Slaying.” They are not listed on the Trading Post, they are not sold by the AC vendor (all the other vendors have potions), and they rarely drop in AC itself. So in order to craft these myself I saved up 400 AC tokens for the recipe; which doesn’t even let me craft them.
