What a joke. Next generation mmo content that is inferior to content that others created several years ago. Wow’s lfg > Gw2 lfg all day long.
I understand that the Lfg tool is in beta. But why make an lfg tool that is inferior to other mmo’s lfg tools? Isn’t Gw2 suppose to be the next generation mmo?

I know Anet is a business and the purpose is to make money, but, putting your customers at risk just isn’t right. It’s well known that the Asian markets lead the world in digital gold sales. Companies know that by releasing the game to the Asian markets that the amount of hacked accounts will increase. But yet, they do it anyways to make more money. What really bothers me is when the company tries to combat it by making changes in game that create inconveniences for their legitimate customers.
Just wanted to say thank you for only taking about 350 hours to change my email. Can you guys please make it possible where a player can change their email through account settings? The current method doesn’t prevent hacking. Want to mitigate hacking? Then stop releasing online games in Asian markets. There is a reason why Asian countries lead the world in digital gold sales. Just saying…
I’m not going to claim to be a programmer of 30 years, but I will say this. When wow launched it’s 64bit client my fps doubled. A 64bit client in Gw2 would mitigate the pain that is WvW. Please stop trying to convince yourselves that a 32bit client is just as good as a 64bit client. Even a monkey knows it’s better to have 64 bananas over 32 bananas.

How are macros created in Gw2?
You didn’t say if you used it or not (FarCry 3 64-bit client).
But my point still stands. Unless the game being tested + 64-bit OS is actively needing more than 4GB then you won’t see a performance shift from 4GB to 8GB.
All that more system memory buys you is the ability to run more 32-bit apps at the same time without the apps fighting over who gets system memory.
This is just lol. A 64bit client will utilize a 64bit cpu which in turn will have twice the computing power. If a program is not utilizing the hardware that’s available then its a poorly designed program. The gw2 game engine is a poorly designed engine. It’s not the worst engine I’ve seen, but it’s still subpar none the less.

A 64bit client would allow the usage of 128gb of ram and of course a 64bit cpu has twice the computing power over a 32bit cpu. Instead of sinking all of your resources in trying to pump out more content maybe you should come out with a 64bit client.

Run gw2 and check your memory usage. You will see that gw2 never reaches 2gb of ram no matter what’s going on in game. Try harder next time.

Really? You believe that 32bit uses more than 2gb of ram? Because of hardware consumption a 32bit client will only allow around 2gb of ram to be used on any software such as Gw2. Please do your homework than come back.
One of the major reasons that Gw2 has only reached a 400k concurrency is due to not having tanks and healers. There are literally millions of mmo players who enjoy tanking and healing and will never buy this game because of that.

First of all, the numbers don’t belong to me. These numbers are directly out of Anet’s mouth. Second of all, maybe you fail to understand concurrency in this situation. Less than 500k of the 3 million who bought the game are logged in at any given time. Since 3 million bought the game that number should be a lot higher. Translation: A lot of people who bought the game were greatly disappointed.
This game is beyond homogenized. No matter what you spec there are minimal differences between zero points and max points in any trait line. I have to keep pointing out the fact that I can see why 3 million bought the game, but less than 500k even play it.

Concurrency: operating or occurring at the same time
Free Xp: Back in the day classes with pets could put their pets on aggressive and let their pets kill everything while they did nothing but rack up free xp.
Fast forward to today. Gw2 Engineer: Spec into self repairing turrets-find a good spawn location-cast all turrets-and turrets will kill everything while you do absolutely nothing but rack up free xp.
Training mobs: Back in the day you could train mobs into afk players and get them killed. Although mean, it was very funny to watch.

Does anyone know of a good place to get mods for this god awful interface?
There seems to be a lot of standard options from other mmo games that are missing from Gw2.
Is there any way to turn off the tool tips in the interface?
Is there really any real reason to max a crafting skill?

If a feature isn’t added, consider that there may be security reasons that prevent what looks to the average person as a “simple option.” Attempts to change the log-in name on an account are a significant flag for us, as it is often an indicator of a hacked account. Please consider the sensitivity of the process and allow the team to handle each request, properly and conservatively.
You have not provided your ticket number here. That is essential for a follow-up.
Considering accounts are still being hacked it really doesn’t matter what system you have in place. Where would I find a ticket number?
It’s been over 10 days and I have yet to receive any help. All I want to do is change my account email. I have submitted a ticket with all the necessary information. Furthermore, why is there not a change email option in the account settings? Seems like pretty standard stuff.
How do 2 players join a normal warfront together?
I have been disconnected several times today. Today is the first time that I’ve experienced this. My girlfriend is on the same network and hasn’t been disconnected once. Funny thing is I’m hardwired and she’s wireless.

Response can take up to 72 hours. Also submitting multiple tickets will actually slow down the response time.

1. Implement a 64 bit game client so for those of us who have more than 2 gigs ram can actually use it while playing.
2. A draw distance option.
3. Foilage: None-low-medium-high
4. Tool tip remover. This may actually be in the UI, but I have yet to find an option for this.

My girlfriend and I both have the same laptops. When I use 1024×768 resolution on my laptop it changes to a 4:3 aspect. When she uses 1024×768 resolution on her laptop it changes to a 16:9 aspect. Anyone know what might be causing this?

I can sign into my account and into the forums just fine. But, when I try to sign into support log in it gives me the message “password wrong or account has been disabled”

Please add an ez mode for the people who can’t find their dodge button or the other 2-3 abilities that all professions press over and over.
Let’s see if you will be so boastful in 6 months from now. Gw2 shouldn’t even be classified as an mmo. Gw2 is more like a horrible single player console game. It will just take about 6 months for the rest of you to figure it out…
Gw2 had a lot of potential out of the gate, but lost steam really fast. Gw2 has some major flaws that are game breaking. After playing Mop for the past couple of days there is just no comparison between the 2 games. Mop is a true mmo and Gw2 is like a bad single player console game at best…
Spamming for dungeon groups is much better than having a dungeon finder. Because when you have a dungeon finder it takes away your ability to say hello to other players. Spamming for raid groups…oh wait that’s right….Gw2 doesn’t have raids. Yea wow should not make everything so convenient. They should instead travel back to the stone age and spam for groups again…
I have been playing mmo’s for years and I have never seen as many bots as I have in Guild Wars 2
It was made like this on purpose, so that players who don’t want spoonfeeding could learn things by trial and error, and people who wanted infos could look them up on the wiki.
Wrong. It’s made like this to mask the normalization that is rampant across all content.
Removing the Holy Trinity was a mistake. Dungeons are zerg fest. Spvp matches are zerg fest. WvW is a huge zerg fest. Why? Because there are no real healers to counter the zergs. So the only counter in Gw2 to a zerg is with another zerg. Also, removing the Holy Trinity has caused every profession in Gw2 to be overly normalized to make up for not having real healers and tanks…

Dungeons are very messy and zergy. Running the first dungeon AC was a very disappointing experience.
Every profession feels the same no matter what profession you play. That’s one of the things that you feel missing. All trait lines are the same and to make matters worse you have no choice, but to put 30 points in toughness lessening the distinction between professions even more.
My girlfriend bought MOP the other day. I am amazed by the fact that the MOP zones are more beautiful than Gw2 over all. It’s hard to believe that Blizzard is able to do the great job they did with such an old game engine. And in case you Gw2 fanboys didn’t know…Gw2 artwork is just as out dated as Wows, hence the reason why Gw2 uses Direct X9….
