I really like the terror with a bit of swiftness and the chains punishment idea. I was thinking for the new skill in DS as an AoE Spectral Gasp thing . U could “pull” maximum 4-5 enemies and it would depend from the amount of life force u have (full LF-4 enemies,70% LF-3 enemies etc).
After the skill is activated all LF depletes completely (so u cant DS3 and be OP). It would be even better if that was considered a stun breaker also.
Offensively u could bring some foes to you and your party to deal with or defencively u could “in a way” sacrifice yourself for a chance for your party/allies to flee. In zerg situations u could pull part of the zerg to you and decrease the efficiency of a rushing group. Of course line of sight must be on.
Another idea for the new “condition” would be to deactivate an enemy random skill for (5 secs?) .Or deactivate a random F1,F2,F3,F4 skill for a period of time. For example Necros couldnt use Death Shroud or Elementalists couldnt use (random) Water/Fire/Air/Earth skills for 5 sec. For Pve it would be useless of course but i’m talking about WvW or PvP mostly.
Necros cant go with rainbows….we’re not in Kansas Dorothy
. An option for “dark sided” legendaries would be cool….or if u make a legendary it would be depended on character/race/profession/sex. I think i ask too much …
+1 for saving dye combos. It would be ideal for having different sets eg one for PVE, a second one for WvW. Also if that was account bound it would be even better (hoping that dyes will become acount bound eventually)

The complaints (at least for me) is NOT, for not getting exotic loot as many people got during the last event , but to the fact that i couldnt play thru the event. Of course i appreciate the content that Arenanet is providing, the effort to solve problems like they did thru this weekend. I just couldn’t log in for almost the entire event and when i managed to log in it was unplayable. Its not that im in the mood “hey i didnt get the super weapon i was searching for and blah blah”. I just couldnt play.
Connections problem here also. Even from the beginning of the event (Friday)the lag was horrible and the game (almost) unplayable. From phase 1 ,i have stuck with 3 items which i dont know what to do with them anymore . I didnt had the chance to complete Gukumatz and Fadh al’Eshadhi quests, because they were removed(????) …
So i try the new dungeon…..I managed to complete one section of it with a group, on Sunday afternoon because the game was kicking me out constantly. After i was logging in again i had to find a new group and start from scratch.
And in Phase 3 somehow i managed to (i dont know how)connect and get to the point where we had to destroy 5 Karka webbing ….and thats when the event ended for me.I could not connect anymore (at least for the event).
I am not complaining about the loss of the loot (yes it would be nice of course) but for the fact that the game was unplayable and not enjoyable even on other areas of the game (besides the event).
The Mad king event (at least for me ) was smooth, enjoyable and quite fun. This was not.
The event was very nice for the people who actually played it. I just didn’t!!
