I must say it was a great experience! And I can’t wait until the time comes that we can go into that world and explore more.

During the last 10min or so of the test I found myself running around in 1st person admiring the scenery and graphics and thought I should start taking loads of pics. I am curious to see how everyone else’s turned out. Feel free to post them below

Did anyone else have issues of the mordrem randomly teleporting out of aoes? Other than that, I am really liking the Revanent with the axe/mace option and Mallyx. Also got some awesome screenshots, but since there were minor fps drops at times the video might not have turned out right. I had hoped that they might included some different content rather than the exact same thing that has been played at 2-3 events so far. (I can’t fault them on that though since that was not the purpose of this trial run)
Definitely looking forward to playing more of the xpac in the future

Just got the same in-game mail earlier today, only it was from a Daniel Farrell. Not sure what to make of it, did you notice anything weird with your account after getting it. I just want to know if there is anything else I need to keep an eye out for.

Did they mention video or streaming? I kinda wanted to show some of my guildies who were not able to get in to this one.

Had an interesting time at this event after reset, any idea if there will be a patch to fix this in the next day or two?

I don’t really understand most of the complaints leveled at the new map style, to me it seems that some people (not all, don’t get me wrong) want there to still be a major element of mind-numbing, follow the tag in an massive zerg, where the only person who is actually having to think is the commander and maybe a few select scouts. I do know however that there are small roaming parties parties that really enjoy taking objectives with few numbers.

I just think that a map that might jog the mindless zerg out of its collective stupor to actually be able to become (hopefully) engaged in the objective taking a bit more.

I know that a lot of people are likely not to be of the exact same opinion, and I want to remind any of those that this is just my opinion on the matter and I do not expect anyone to agree…

It is definitely able to be soloed, if you are really having issues it might be a good idea to check out the Dulfy site for a walk-through. It might have a couple tips in it. Hope this might help a little

There is anger and distrust amongst the allied races now as Sylvari have shown themselves to be corruptible by Mordremoth’s influence. This is understandable, since the destruction of the Pact fleet resulted from this discovery. But this wasn’t treachery on behalf of the Sylvari race. It was a brilliant strategic move by our common foe, the Elder dragon Mordremoth.

Please don’t forget that all of the fauna-based races were corruptible by Zhaitan, while we remained immune. Those poor lost souls were pitied, not vilified. And we Sylvari still fought by your side and put our trust in you. We simply ask our fellow sentient beings for a little understanding in a time that scares us flora-based races even more than it scares you.

As a show of solidarity, I personally vow to wear only human-style garb outside of the grove. Sylvari cultural clothing only points out our differences in a time when we should be fostering strength through unity. It is my hope that this small gesture might help put you, our allies, at ease.

I have noticed that there are some items that you listed that are actually in-game, granted that they are not in abundance though :/

Definitely wait a bit, at least until they release more information about the legendaries and masteries. I have just been collecting the raw materials so I will hopefully have a little bit of an easier time once the expac comes out (even if I do end up going for a legendary that is already in game, never know how things will turn out )

True, and I am considering making a Sylvari revenant. I just think it would be a bit interesting in terms of the story.

Definitely would get the mini Shatterer if they had that. Would not mind mini hounds of Balthazaar either…

I want to buy more character slots, but I’ve been waiting on a sale so I can buy it for cheaper. Last year, around february(I think) there was a sale on the character slots, and this year I thought there would’ve been one too, so I held out, but there was no sale throughout february. :[ Anyone know when there will be a sale?

I have to agree with you there, I have been saving some stacks just in case they do end up doing this.

I kind of like the idea of the Sylvari becoming unplayable to all but those already with characters created for a while. Just seeing as any Sylvari that are recently awoken might be unable to resist Mordremoth (its not quite the same as the other races evil part, those under the influence of Mordy would have no free will ). Just my thoughts.
