Many people come on here to ask what the easiest dungeon is for their specific desired stats, so I figured it would be easiest to have an easily-referenced post with the rankings of dungeon difficulty.
So which dungeon do you think is the most challenging, and which is the easiest? List ’em by difficulty and hopefully newbies can get their answer without having to post every single time ;-)
Largos. Need dem underwater winged drow.
Just as the topic asks. Why are they there? Is there anyone who finds them advantageous enough compared to the disadvantage of losing 2 skills to use them? Is there any real point to them at all, apart from filling space against the eventuality of someone just using one weapon at the start?
Guild Wars 2, Combat RNG and why it should never have existed in a modern mmo

Eh, crits work well enough in League of Legends, one of the biggest most competitive games in e-sports out there.
I’m really not sure why they didn’t do this from the start, but with a gazillion dyes in the game they should really be bound to your account rather than your character. Having to pick and choose whether to use a dye on one character or go through the hassle of moving it to another (and then maybe deciding, after seeing the dye again, that it wouldn’t work there either) is a big mistake in my mind.
We have tons of gold sinks in the game, from waypoints to repairing armor to buying all the armor sets to runes to crafting to… well, there are TONS. Dying is one of the more “flavorful” parts of Guild Wars 2, rather than the mechanical side, and there shouldn’t be a limit on dyes since they don’t change anything that’s mechanical.
If I get a random dye on my character and find that I already have it, I don’t want to start a hot potato pass around to all my other characters to see if they’ve unlocked it too. When I find a dye, I want the ease and fun of mindlessly double-clicking on it and adding it to my stash of cool colors without having to worry about whether it would look good on this character or that.
The Guild Wars 2 krewe has done great things in their steps towards fun over unfun, but having dyes character-specific rather than account-specific is a step in the wrong direction.
So please ArenaNet; make dyes available to all characters on your account when adding them, rather than having to readd the same dye for every character that you make.
Anyone remember the “endgame content” back in GW1? I do, I loved the crap outta that game, and still do. But at the beginning, leveling was hard as hell (before they added “Prophecies” to the game), you teamed up with henchmen if you were unluck, decent PUGs if you were lucky, and VERY bad PUGs if you were very unlucky (hurr durr, mending + frenzy in PvE makes me so OP!!!!)
Then you got to Yak’s bend, and you were… what, level 8-12 iirc? It’s been a long time. Getting to Borlis Pass was a pain just with henchmen back then.
Fast forward, you’re in Hell’s Precipice—another impossible mission with just henchmen. And then… very little. Glint gave you that mission from her vision-thingy, you did those four… and then what? Nada but farming your obby armor as far as pve went.
Things got better when the expansions came out, and they gave more content, more higher-level areas, The Deep/Urgot’s Warren/Domain of Anguish/dungeons in EotN, and more. We got titles to work towards in our Hall of Monuments, etc.
My point being, GW1 endgame sucked at the start. Most MMOs’ endgame sucks at the start. I’m waiting for more material to be released before I declare that Guild Wars 2 is a failure.

I’m also having this issue. I tried the above and it didn’t work for me either.
