Is there any news about having external access to game chat?
It’s still something I really want to do, but haven’t yet been able to commit time to.
The main crux is just budgeting out a solid month for a feature when there’s a bunch of lower-hanging features and bugs. When I get around to implementing it, pretty much everything else is gonna come to a standstill for awhile, so I want to find a good place for a long pause.
Thank you for you quick and honest answer.
It’s totally understandable.
The game wasn’t built around having 5 guild chats at a time,
I can’t have quite enough chat tabs, and follow 5 conversations at once.

Wow, it’s finally here \o/!
tyvm for the hard work!
<3 <3 <3, Gilj.

Another reset night, another 42:0:9001:4409 night…
Thanks, it’s fixed.
The Bobblehead Laboratory is perfect!
The only way to make it even more perfect, is to add a 30 min option, and we’ll have the most perfect-est food reminder.
Thank you ArenaNet! /bow @

Started December 10th update.
That would be great!
90/1.3 = 69.23
60/1.3 = 46.15
30/1.3 = 23.07
Same thing happens to me..
Report a bug does not get you a response, try this:
Then you should hear something back.
I use a Logitech wireless mouse with the LCC and I don’t have any issues currently, as mentioned previously.
What version of LCC are you using?
Do you use any Logitech device?
If so, did you install the Logitech Control Center?
I believe it might be the cause.

As a note, when I want to close the game, I use esc to pull up the options menu, choose logout, once on char select screen, I use the X in top right corner to close game. No issues with this lately.
Just checked it out, and my computer froze…
It happens to me too on a MBP early 2011 (10.8.4, 2.2GHz, 8gb of ram, HD6750m), my built in keyboard and the trackpad (and any other external device) just don’t work (sometimes) after I quit the game.
It happen 100% when I exit using the ESC menu or trying to exit the launcher, and like 20% when I switch to window mode and use CMD+Q.
It started a few months ago, but I though this forum is dead so I didn’t post.
Please solve this annoying bug that makes me reset my computer using the Power button, which as far as I know isn’t healthy to the computer.
ty, Gil.
1. I would say they are at 3000, 5000, 7000etc
2. More armor and weapon sets, also complete armor sets not just 3 pieces
3. 5300 i think (away from main computer)
If you are already logged in to the GW2 website, you can check your current achievement points by logging to the Leaderboards page: https://leaderboards.guildwars2.com/en/eu/achievements/friends
+1.
Waiting for Melandru…
and the auto-reset idea sounds good.
Thanks, Gil.
I think that marked targets (CTRL + T) should be showed on the mini map.
And/or have the ability to CTRL a skill and it’ll chat: “Im using <Skill Name> on <Target Name>” and ping him on the mini map.
Thanks, Gil.
Reminds me of a little City Of Heroes’ Christmas events [Pocket D].
Guild Wars 2’s Wintersday is great, it’s fun, it’s looking good, and it has cool rewards.
Thanks ANet! Great job!
Workning now, thanks!
/clientport 80 is a fix ArenaNet introduced for people whose ISPs traffic shape their data therefore causing lag and stuttering issues during peak times.
Are you sure it’s what you are looking for if you can’t even log in?
What error message are you getting?
The /clientport 80 fixes my login problems on my PC (+endless loading times).
I usually gets 42 and 58 Errors and if I manage to log in, I get stuck in an endless loading screen.
Right-click on the Guild Wars 2 icon in your Applications folder.
Select “Show Package Contents”
Navigate to Contents->Resources
Open “CiderSettings.plist” in your TextEdit
Find the following line:
<key>CiderGameOptions</key>
REPLACE the line underneath it with:
<string>— Gw2.exe /clientport 80</string>
Save and start the client. Hope this helps!
Thank you, but unfortunately I still cannot log in from my Mac.
:(.
It’s been like that with City of Heroes too, I guess it’s a cider’s issue.
CMD + TAB ?
<short msg>I can’t log on my PC without the /clientport 80 command, how do I use it on a Mac?
