I have my doubts about the opening fight sequences as well. My demo character was decked out, in a way my regular characters aren’t and probably never will be. I can’t imagine doing that fight on any of my level 80 characters as they stand now.
If by decked out you mean in exotics gear then you can already get that within a reasonable time frame of casual play. Lets say you’re a new player who bought POF and didn’t have the time to get exotics. When you purchase POF you get a level 80 boost. When you confirm the boost on a character in addition to the auto level and waypoints, you also receive a full set of exotic gear. That includes accessories, back piece, amulet and rings that are slotted as well.

Yes it’s not marauders stats but for new players you’ll have better survivability with the set of Soldier’s gear (Rabid if necro, Valkyrie if thief).
That’s how it designed. it adds weight to the control[s], most people I find in game and on reddit like it this way. The animation is quite smooth and crisp actually.
I’m in agreement with him. They actually feel like mounts; not some typical mmo super speed skin.
In regards to the raptor getting stuck, you need to hold space longer for the mount to jump farther. I was having the same issue initially when I was just tapping space instead of holding it for the first minute I used the mount.
For me the opening sequence and all mobs in the demo including the hydra felt way too easy. One could argue the opening sequence being fine as it’s for people getting into the game for the first time. I picked a class I’ve never played and spammed skills off cd and cleared it just fine. However, if it’s made any easier then we’re going to get the same degree of difficulty as the level 1 introductory story instance. Something too easy is a big of a turn off, just as something that’s too hard is for some players.
One criticism I have is the rule breaker debuff. It does absolutely nothing. Perhaps it’s not available in the preview but if that’s not the case then this should be addressed so mounts aren’t allowed in areas where they shouldn’t be. I’ve already seen something similar that disables mounts outright in places such as Noran’s Safe Room. If I had to guess there may be some fun interaction with the debuff that anet wants to save for the actual release. I hope this is the case.

I want to launch the game through a program called,3D Ripper DX or some similar model ripping program so that I can use it in blender.
A response to this query has been already answered:

Furthermore, I’ve reviewed the Gw2 content terms of use
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-content-terms-of-use/
“You agree that you will not alter, disassemble, decompile, reverse-engineer or in any other way modify the content” This sounds like even if I had the model, I couldn’t add a skeleton and make it move how I wanted.
However, that was in 2014 and an official stance on third party DPS meters, such as arcdps, were given the green light as long as they followed the developers stated parameters.

From /u/ChrisCleary:
“We have no problems with players using a 3rd party tool whose scope is only to collect and visualize combat data gathered directly from the game client. Anything beyond that scope is still considered a violation of the User Agreement.”
My apologizes if their statement on third party tools in this instance is uncorrelated to this inquiry or this has already been addressed recently. I just want to know if this is permissible as I’d really like to give Gw2 machinima a whirl.
Compensation would be nice to the raiding community but i’m sure that may be unlikely.
If the kill isn’t showing up in the Api you’re not going to get compensation since there’s no record of it.
Refer to link for info and how to check if kill is registered in the Api:

Rubi said they were looking into it. No loot/kill credit from any of my kills either.

Thanks for the answer, Nozome.
What sort of readjustments to mesmers and raid compostions—such as using revenants for their boon-duration to fill the gap, would result from removing the superior sigil of concentration from pve be?
Superior Sigil of Concentration: Boons you apply last 33% longer for 7 seconds when you swap to this weapon while in combat. (Cooldown: 9 Seconds)
Naturalistic Resonance: Boon-duration increase has been reduced from 50% to 33%.
Does stripping the sigil from mesmers make revenants more appealing? Would it further limit meta raid compostions? Alternatively, would mesmers simply switch to something else and raids opt to forego a revenant? Bring up any possible benefits or adverse effects this would have.
Yes, please change it.
That being said, if you’re going to go that route, you shouldn’t be using human standards of femininity as your baseline. It should be what those races consider feminine.
Exactly this.
Yes please.
I don’t mind skin showing necessarily but boob plates/bras makes for incredibly bad armor design. Armor wouldn’t conform that closely to the breasts without it being impractical to wear and put on. Whenever I see armor like that I’m reminded of perverted hentai where clothes magically seems to be skin tight and wrap around the breasts despite being a t-shirt. If I wanted boob plates I’ll roll a female human or play Tera/BnS.
