I also appreciate your dispelling the comment that you got exceptional service because of some sort of special metrics. Our goal is to give exceptional service to all our players, and we strive to do that on a daily basis. We regret when we cannot, and we try to explain why it’s not possible for us to assist. (Explain while maintaining a careful eye on security facts that cannot be revealed, of course). If we can assist, we do. It’s really that simple.
Woah. Bravo to ANET then. Original poster: Have you changed your password since getting back in? Periodically I change my email address as well as my password to try avoid getting hacked.
He must be “one of the paying customers”.
Your implication that Support prioritizes assistance based on gem purchases is one of the better “tin foil hat” conspiracy theories I’ve heard around here….Kudos (see below for your official prize)!
@OP: It’s nice to see someone thanking a company for good support, but note that getting your account rolled back as fast as possible should NOT be your priority after getting it hacked. Understanding HOW you were hacked and SECURING everything should be more important.
Are you 100% sure your email and computer are secure? If not, expect another hacking rather soon…..(and Support will NOT roll it back again).
I’m very impressed with this. Most games hold the policy of “if you get hacked, it’s your problem”, so I’m glad ArenaNet went to those lengths to sort your problem out
Don’t forget, one time only, if you are hacked one more time, i dunno if they will understand that much after. They’ve helped me regain my account in 3 days and i was impressed that was so fast since on those days many ppl got problems being hacked.
I recommend you guys … change the passwords of your emails and of your games more ’often as you can, create them complicated, use a powerful antivirus and antispyware and never share your information with anyone!
And/or just stop visiting “those” sites. Or stop bragging about what you have on the forum.
Those things are more dangerous than a weak password.
As for the precursor skins – they’re named something differently as skins, as they share skins with other weapons. Do you have the skins for Verdant Longbow and Feathers of Dwayna unlocked? You should have them under that, not under Leaf of Kudzu or the Lover, as they are the same, and if you look at the precursors on trading post it will also list what their skin is named.

Functionality
It has been this way since the back items were introduced. It has not been fixed yet, though it was acknowledged and submitted to be fixed on August 26th. May need to be patient on the fix going in with a future patch.

I’m not even convinced MF ever did anything in the first place.
Kinda like that one shield inscription from GW1 that we found out never did anything 7 years after release. xD

Exactly. People shouldn’t have got a week and a half worth of “ascended progress” just because they were too lazy to do their monthly before patch, but all hurried to do it as soon as this bug, exploit or whatever it is, got known. It’s really lame and imo they should either remove the laurels from those who got them without deserving them, or give everyone else a chance to get them too.
A lot of the people who got the extra 10 laurels don’t pvp. So they were not likely to have completed it this month.
And this is actually what troubles me the most. A lot of people who got the 10 extra laurels last month were nothing but opportunists, who could care no less for the s/tPvP as a gametype. I don’t even want to recount how many people in my guild only did the PvP Monthly to get their laurels, and then leave the gametype , never to return. Meanwhile people actually supporting the gametype, me included, were likely to have completed their Monthly earlier in March.
And while getting a lead in the chase for Ascended trinkets does not instantly win you battles, 10 laurels equals 10 days of gaming. What did I, and a lot of my mates, get from the PvP Monthly? 5 Freaking boosters and salvage kits. Yea, they’re cool.

Is there another topic like this or something? Cause it looks like Anet has still not reacted to this, at all!!! Give us at least an explanation, or some kinda acknowledgement, or just say you’re working on a solution of some kind. But completely ignoring us is imo the worst!

The funniest thing is that we still do not have any comments on this issue by Anet. I finished my monthly sPvP in the beginning of March (like any other regular pvp player, got no laurels of course) and today I helped some guildmates to do the same, only for those 16 achievement points. And guess what…they all got their 10 sPvP laurels (on top of their 10 from monthly PvE), as a bonus reward for being non active pvp players. On the other hand, if you are proactive, you get nothing. Anet, this is so lame and unfair. Fix it, asap.

They usually don’t respond to situations like this for a while, if at all. They try and wait until people have forgot about it and calmed down then say something like “Nothing we can do about. Enjoy your free stuff, lucky ones.”
yea hellllllooooO??!!? what bout ppl who did it before the patch, we are kitten of out 10 laurels. can we get it already too. any response??
Either the after-patch people need to have their 10 laurels removed, or everyone that did the pvp monthly before-patch needs to be rewarded those 10. Quite simple.

This basicly. But knowing Anet they won’t respond and wait till we forgot about this.
It sucks. I did both monthlies before the patch. They should email those who did both monthlies before patch 10 laurels. I don’t mind people getting one laurel from daily, but 10? That’s a week and a half worth of laurels.
