Was just about to write a post about the same. I farmed it for a while before I (together with some guildmates) concluded that it might be an exploit.
It gives a lot more XP than the Cursed shore farm but on the other hand you get no loot. So you kind of decide if you want to go for solely XP or XP and loot. Nevertheless it might be considered an exploit so would be great to hear from an Anet employee about this matter.
I can’t do anything else than to agree with both Chiiwii and agentciq. I believe the changes done to the game hasn’t improved it for hardcore guilds like TxS.
I understand that Anet never wanted Gw2 to be a hardcore game, but I’d be cool if you wouldn’t partially destroy the few chances at hardcore gaming you’ve given us.
Been a memeber of [TxS] since the start. I totally agree with the points mentioned by the above poster. The megaserver might be a good idea in generall, but the new system has badly damaged the possibility to do world events. Anet you should seriously reconsider this!
I know that this is slightly off-topic when it comes to RP but I believe it is a question loads of players want answered nevertheless Colin (or any other developer for that matter). Megaguilds (for example TTS & TxS), for a lack off a better word, could with the old system easily fill a whole server, or a whole overflow, when preparing for a raid of theirs.
Will there be a way for them to still do this or does the introduction of Megaserver(s) also mean the end to Megaguilds and the way they handle raids today?
I suggest to open all your chests, don’t just leave them unopened as they will be deleted.
Deleted on the March 18th patch or in the feature patch after?
Feature build is when that stuff will happen. This patch is primarily just to stop allowing glory to be earned… along with the other vital implementations/changes we are making to how rewards are earned and which rewards those will be.
I just want to make sure that I’ve understood this correctly, but between March the 18th and the feature build, you are (mostly) removing all rewards for playing sPvP, or is there something I haven’t understood?
