It’s all so crazy lol, no consumer of a product should have to work so hard to enjoy it after paying.

Update: My girlfriend, sitting next to me on her 5 year old Mac laptop (graphics on low), using the same wireless connection is able to play on her account AND MINE with no issues. I switch over the my PC, an disconnects on my account AND HERS. We are sitting next to each other, using the same connection, at the same time. What does this mean? If the problem was the ISP or a “hop” shouldn’t she be experiencing the same issues?

So what are all of us, the people experiencing this issue, supposed to do? The ISP won’t do anything, we’ve tried everything we have been told to try on the Forum, I don’t know lol. Just uninstall and give away our stuff?

It seems that all of the people experience high ping and latency issues, when we’ve never experienced them before, have no choice but to wait for a fix that might never come.

This issue is affecting a lot of people. Tired of hearing people claim it’s an issue with their connection, or ISP, or a hop, etc. No other game requires you to go in depth with internet tech and try to solve problems like this. These kinds of things are supposed to be dealt with on the developers end, console gamers aren’t required to do these things with any game they play. And no other PC I play has either

Constantly disconnecting with this same error code. At first it was only at night, and if 3 or 4 other people were using the internet. Now, it occurs regularly during the day even when I am the only one using the internet. I can do other things, like watch movies on Netflix and even play other online games like ESO with no problem. Hope A-Net fixes the issue soon.

The lore says Norn are light skinned. The game may oppose that but the game is based off the lore so yeah…. and the fact that they are heavily HEAVILY based off vikings and norse mythology is a big deal.

Under Physiology:
" Norn typically have light or pale skin, while those living in Lion’s Arch have their skin tanned by the sun".

All I’m saying is according to the lore and the people they were based off of, it would have made a lot more sense to have a dance that somehow related to them in SOME way.

The Humans get shuffling – Many humans today shuffle and it is very popular

The Asura get the robot – It is comical which fits the entire races personality

The Charr get the Haka – I am super jealous of this one. It is a warriors dance, done before war to intimidate the enemy by warriors from New Zealand, Hawaii, Samoa, and more.

The Sylvari get some dance, I don’t know what it’s called but I have seen it and it fits their personalities as well.

So I think my reasoning is pretty accurate. Techno Viking fits much more lol. Norn are warriors that live in the wilderness and worship animal gods…. why are we dancing like a goofy preppy white/black guy from the USA when they are based off of European warriors and mythos? No good reason man. No good reason.

And don’t take the race and country thing so seriously. People are too uptight about that crap sometimes lol. I’m a Black guy in Los Angeles and I love America. Just sayin’ lol. Trying to make a point, not offend anyone.

I say make a Norn Ranger. Spirits of the Wild are present in the Ranger abilities and your first Pet can correspond to the Spirit of the Wild you were born under.

I would say go Charr Engineer in the Iron Legion. That fits much more than a Norn Engineer.

Norn ftw. Love all the references to Norse mythology. Garm was an epic find lol. Eir Stegalkin runs around with the hound that guards the gate to Hel! All the other ones are just awesome. Not to mention the armor options and towering over all other races. Yes.

Techno Viking would be amazing. Hate this fresh prince Carlton crap. According to lore Norn aren’t even black lol.

If you just said “ZOMG RACIST” then all I have to say to you is CHILL kitten OUT I’m Black too. And I hate the dance. Norn are based off Vikings and Norse Mythology. Wtf is with the dance choice?

I have to politely disagree. Divinity’s Reach is bland and mediocre to me. The Black Citadel for the Charr is nice but can be a bit confusing and tough to navigate.

Hoelbrak is simple, absolutely beautiful, and ironically warm in my opinion. I was actually on the fence about buying this game when I was playing the BWEs as a Human. I made a Norn and explored Hoelbrak and had a conversation with a Norn woman about pickup lines in that gorgeous cave behind Bear Lodge. Finding that cave and then having that conversation made me fall in love with this game and to this day the Norn and Hoelbrak and my favorite parts about Guild Wars 2. I personally wouldn’t change a thing.

Not to mention Hoelbrak’s music is just epic.
