Each of the Elite Specs should have their own, unique glider skin for sure, preferably unlocked alongside their weapon collection. Ideas:

Dragonhunter – Wings of Resolve, glowing blue guardian magic wings

Herald – Glint’s wings, gleaming crystallized dragon wings

Berserker – A metal frame ignited with flames, with some carved designs similar to their torch

Scrapper – Gyro helicopter wings

Druid – Glowing celestial wings

Daredevil – A flowing black cloak

Tempest – Magical wings based on your current attunement, either made of flame, lightning, water or stone

Chronomancer – Glowing pink-purple butterfly wings

Reaper – A skeletal form shrouded in a glowing green and black covering

Now for various other gliders:

-Guild glider, with the guild emblem on them purchased from the Guild Vendor

-Pact Glider, and Gliders for each Order. Order gliders are obtained with the ascended backpiece, Pact Glider when you have all three

-Wings of Mordremoth, from the Migraine achievement or a drop from the Mouth of Mordremoth

-Wings of Zhaitan, from completing the Personal Story

-Glide-o-Matic (Golem glider)

-Asuran Holo-Glider (Complete HoT story as an Asura)

-Charr Industrial Glider (Complete HoT story as a Charr)

-Norn Spirit of Raven Wings (Complete HoT story as a Norn)

-Sylvari Wings of Ventari (Complete HoT story as a Sylvari)

-Human Ascent of the Gods wings (Complete HoT story as a Human)

-Broomstick

-Magic Carpet

-Juvenile Fire Wyvern (Taming said Wyvern with your Ranger)

-Juvenile Electric Wyvern (Taming said Wyvern with your Ranger)

-Infantile Cloud glider (Complete all of SaB on Infantile mode, a cloud glider that trails rainbows and makes happy noises)

-Tribulation Cloud glider (Complete all of SaB on Tribulation mode, a storm cloud glider that makes angry noises, trails thunder, and occasionally plays notes from the SaB metal remix)

-Wings of the Sunless (Drop from Tequatl)

-Chak Swarm (A swarm of flying chak keeping you in the air, drop from Chak Gerant)

-Black Lion Skin gliders (perhaps from collecting all the skins in each group)

-As many backpieces that work as gliders as possible

-Super Beedog Wings

-King Toad Glider (Beat King Toad on Tribulation Mode)

-Storm Wizard Glider (Beat the Storm Wizard on Tribulation Mode)

-Bloodstone Fragment Wings (Drop from Matthias)

-Modified Flame Crucible (A modification of Sabetha’s backpiece, drop from Sabetha)

-NEEEEEEEEORW, the player holds out their arms, wears an aviator cap, and makes airplane noises. When falling, looks down, and falls like in cartoons

-Mad King’s Glider – A fiery pumpkin glider, drop from Trick or Treat bags

-Skeletal Glider – A simple skeleton glider, also from Trick or Treat bags

-Guild Wars glider (A recolor of the HoT glider, made black and red or white and red)

I’d recommend looking into it before posting, they’re waiting until after the 3rd Raid Wing (sometime in July most likely)

Regardless of it’s flaws I still did really enjoy HoT, I probably won’t pre-order day 1 but most likely after we see some of the other content.

The story lead for HOT said that the big problem with the pacing was just because you’re rushing to save Destiny’s Edge, there’s not enough time, story-wise, to run off and do other things. Definitely not the only issue, but I think a side story, as long as you still played as your main character, would be interesting to have, especially during content droughts, in order to tie up smaller loose ends and check in on places we haven’t heard from in awhile.

So… you just don’t want to buy Transmutation Charges? They’re incredibly easy to get yourself, especially with Reward Tracks. I’d say SWTOR’s system is more outdated, the Outfit system can be clunky occasionally, and wasn’t in the game at all for quite a while, the Wardrobe is far more smooth and fluid

Yeah, this COULD be balanced, but really doesn’t make sense in the Guild Wars universe. I think higher spell customization (rather then just ‘spells’ being linked to weapons and utility) would be really awesome, but I think completely custom spells are unlikely.

They don’t ‘always’ do that, they teased the Winter update and released it’s features long before it released, it’s simply because of the new leadership, who thinks they should ship before making promises.

Some more liveliness, and maybe even actual world events in LA would be really cool, I definitely like your ideas

I definitely disagree, Sylvari has an entirely unique story in Heart of Thorns. Sylvari is most likely the ‘canon’ choice, with human being a close second.

Eventually I think all of the world bosses need to be improved, and ideally the dungeon bosses, fractal bosses and Zhaitan. For big world bosses that I’d like improved soon though, definitely the Claw of Jormag, the Megadestroyer and the Karka Queen.

I know other people have answered these questions but I thought I’d throw in my 2 cents.

1) Elder Dragons aren’t so much dragons as powerful forces of nature that take the form of dragons. I doubt they really have any hard science behind them biology-wise and/or they evolved from or are related to another species. However, we do have drakes in Tyria and Elona, which are relatives of the Canthan dragons, which seem to be Eastern-based dragons, such as the miniature Mythical Dragon we have in GW2. As for the dragons champions, they to probably aren’t true ‘dragons’. Now with HoT coming we’ll also have Wyverns, which are the closest we’ve seen so far to true western-style normal dragons.

2) There are 6 known Elder Dragons, Primordus, Jormag, Zhaitan, ‘Steve’, Kralkitorrak and Mordemoth. So far it seems all of them have several champions that also take the form of dragons, besides Steve, as we’ve never seen any of his champions or minions. There are numerous drakes, dragons and wyverns, we know drakes and dragons are related but we’re not sure about wyverns, its likely though.

3) Each elder dragon has its own spheres of influence or magical elements it specializes in. Primordus is Fire (and possibly Earth), Jormag is Ice (and maybe Illusion? I’d say mind but we know Mordremoth has mind), Zhaitan had Death and Shadow, Steve is probably Water, Kralkitorrak is Crystal and Air/Lightning, and finally Mordremoth is Plant/Jungle and Mind

4) All the Elder Dragons are currently alive save Zhaitan, who is defeated at the end of the personal story. Heart of Thorns is moving in on Mordremoth, and Kralkitorrak or Steve might be next.

5) Because Elder Dragons devour magic, when Zhaitan died all that magic was released. Tequatl ‘evolved’ by feeding off of that magic, and its been hinted at that if a champion devoured enough magic it could become an Elder Dragon, which Glint might’ve eventually become if she had lived. Because of this, if Tequatl hadn’t been killed he might have become the next Zhaitan.

6) We really don’t know about this one. Zhaitan was defeated by the pact fleet, not really by a specific thing that could be a weakness, so we’re not sure. Although they may be weaker against things depending on element (like fire might be more effective against Jormag or Mordremoth)

I’m interested in seeing some disussion here, does anyone have any theories as to what happened to Gleam? Do you think Gleam met up with Rytlock at some point? Is she even on our side? What about Glint’s other children? Especially the egg Caithe has her hands on.
